The property consists of 12 hectares of fields, 8 of which are devoted to an organic olive grove, and a large garden.

- "excellent" - "Spacious and well equipped flat with wonderful courtyard with a table to eat and a table to sit with nice benches. It is possible to sit whole days out there. Short walk to station, supermarket and city center. It is possible to make holiday there without a car, if you do not mind to walk. Otherwise renting bikes is a good idea. To the pebble (!) beach it is a 15 Min walk. A sand beach is located near the marina, bicycles are suggested. In the city center are many nice bars and restaurants."

- "We stayed the 3rd week of June as the season was just getting started in Mascia’s house in Fano, a lively and lovely beach town. Our apartment was on the 1st floor (2nd floor for Americans) and was located in a great position so close to everything but just outside of the “centro storico” or historic center” and we arrived in a Saturday and we had parking right outside the 2 floor building and were alone in that building for list of the week. Only once did we return to not find our usual spot but a woman in a building across the street saw us and called down that she’d move! Amazing hospitality! The apartment was ready; towels, sheets, the works and was spotless! A 2 bedroom, eat in kitchen, large bathroom place w/pvt entrance. We had our 2 small dogs with us and they were welcome (we obviously looked for a pet friendly spot and Mascia knew). It was all truly so easy. There was a €1.50 per person tax per night to pay when leaving but we knew before hand and is not unusual. Indeed, Mascia said she’d come by on the morning we left at 9:30 but we woke up at 6AM so we’re ready way before time so I called Mascia and asked if we could leave it on the table and she was fine with it so we did and we left. Also, this locale is so close to beaches although the beach we went to, Animalido, was a 7 minute drive but was also the reason we chose this area of Italy, dog friendly!"

A 5-minute drive from downtown Fano and its 2 beaches (one pebble and one sand), is the main apartment in this country house. The house has a large garden, and many secular trees. The house is secluded in the fields and yet 5 minutes from downtown!

The house, beautiful and old, with its sundial and columns, pine alley, oaks and other varieties of trees, is divided into 3 apartments. The one proposed is the largest, it occupies 2 levels, on half of the house. The other 2 apartments are occupied by 2 quiet, pleasant and discreet people, and a cute little dog who sometimes walks in the garden.

It is not a luxurious house, but rather a typical Marche house, old, well maintained. She kept her original charm.

The apartment is on the ground floor of a large high ceiling living room with also a dining area (although meals are often taken outside to enjoy the garden and summer), a kitchen with 2 fridges, a small living room leading to the stairs, and a shower room with WC. There is a sofa bed for 2 people in the large living room, and another sofa bed for 2 people in the small living room. The 2 sofa beds are new.

On the first floor there are 3 bedrooms: 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a bedroom with a double bed and a single folding bed, and an extra bedroom, with a double bed. There is a shower room with wc, accessible by the corridor, and there is also a toilet room with sink, adjoining the extra bedroom.

In total, the house can accommodate 12 people (4 on the ground floor and 8 on the first floor), in a very authentic setting with the charm of an old house, and with a large garden.

Fano has a very pleasant city center, historically rich and elegant, with many shops. The area of the beach, younger and dynamic, is ideal for enjoying summer activities (beaches, swimming, cycling, etc.).

The hinterland, from Fano to Urbino, is beautiful, with typical Italian hills, and totally authentic little villages, where there are often delicious little restaurants. Urbino is one of the most beautiful Italian Renaissance cities and definitely worth a visit. It is 50 minutes by car only. Moreover, also 50 minutes by car, is the Conero of Ancona, which is a mountain falling into the sea. This is a remarkable site, and the beautiful small towns of Numana and Sirollo for example, deserve a day trip, while the Conero has at its base, beautiful beaches (Porto Novo beach for example).

A few minutes from the house by car, is a very convenient supermarket, Auchan, which is open on Sundays and late evenings on weekdays and Saturdays.
