The Villa embodied everything we imagined and more for our vacation - the reality is even better than the online photos and description can convey. We celebrated one of our daughter’s birthdays during our stay and Carlo and his family even helped facilitate getting a custom birthday cake from a local bakery and hosted an exquisitely delicious in-home dinner with homemade pasta! Our kids (ages 6, 8, 9, 12 and 18) had THE BEST time and did not want to leave. They enjoyed running around the property, playing with the owners’ dog and cat, collecting eggs from the chickens each morning, and visiting the baby pigs. We picked strawberries and beans from the garden and hope to come back later next summer when trees are bearing their fruits. Villa Contessa is ideally located for exploring the countryside and magical medieval towns of Umbria. During our stay we visited Perugia and toured the Perugina chocolate factory. We spent two days in nearby Gubbio, visited a winery in Montefalco, and strolled through the flower-laden streets of Spello. Next time we plan to visit Orvieto and Assisi, which are also easy day trips from the villa. The villa itself is so magical that one could happily stay put the entire stay."

La Brocca is a farmhouse from the 15th century, immersed in the countryside of one of the most beautiful valleys of Umbria, the Chiascio valley. At the ground floor of the property, in the spaces that once housed the ancient mount, a comfortable guest suite has recently been created, with a large living room and large open fireplaces. The floors are covered with typical Umbrian terracotta and travertine, the kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge, large freezer, electric kettle and toaster.

The double suite has 2 double bedrooms, one facing the other, with doors with keys. The TORO room has en suite bathroom with shower. Overlooking the quiet back garden, has a french window that can be used as a second independent entrance.
The LIBRA room, north faced, has an en suite bathroom with a bathtub and a shower. Both overlook the corridor leading to the living room, a large white open space of almost 100 square meters, with vaulted ceilings, where the kitchen, dining area, sofa area and two single sofa beds are located (possibility of additional beds in the rooms and in the living room).
