The Giotto restaurant on site serves excellent food and has a very good selection of wines. We used the very well appointed spa for added luxury! The room had a large balcony with an amazing view of the Umbrian landscape, and, at night, the Basilica was lit up like a beacon. Not sure if this is typical of the apartments but the kitchen in the self catering apartment we had was very basic indeed with few utensils, a hob only (no oven, grill, toaster or even a microwave) we just bought a cheap BBQ and grilled outside. Just be aware of this as if you are aiming to cater for a family of 4 here you are going to need to be very inventive!"
