Our home is perfect for a large family or multi-family trip , equipped with 4 Bedrooms - accommodations to sleep up to 12 individuals, 3 full bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen , large open kitchen/living room area, and huge outdoor deck , firepit, grill and dock access.’

Level 1 ( basement) :
Upon entering the house, stairs immediately to your left will take you directly to the first floor/ground level equipped with a full bathroom, tub/shower combo, washer/dryer combo ( where you can meet all your laundry needs) , 1 bedroom with queen bed and 1 extra mattress at request ( to be added for the kiddos) and large open living area of entertainment, games or for the kids to burn off some energy . Direct access to lower level deck ( door locks and door alarm for added protection)

Level 2 ( main floor)
This level you will have direct access from the driveway and enter into the kitchen area. Fully stocked kitchen to prepare home made meals with plenty of storage and counter space, microwave, toaster, Keurig , teapot and all other essentials available. Large unique round kitchen table with seating for 10, which then opens up into the wide open living space. To the left of the room is couch with seating for 6 and a recliner to view the 86” flatscreen tv ( equipped with Roku access) and a beautiful view of the lake with large lake front windows. To the right additional seating/bedding with a futon and recliner .this level has direct access to the upper deck with out door seating and table to enjoy meals outside and BBQ grill . Full bathroom on this level with tub/shower combo

Only 5 minutes from Peek 'n Peak (Ski, Spa, Golf, Swim, Dine, zip lines , segway tours, putt putt golf and adventure coarse ) 20 minutes from Erie, PA or Jamestown, NY and Chautauqua Institute. We are also located directly on Chautauqua Snowmobile trails maps are available. There are many wineries also located within 10 miles in northeast pa and westfield ny. We also have LOCAL TV, WIFI, NETFLIX HULU, and a library full of dvds to choose from .
The next door findley lake camp ground has 15 miles of hiking right out the back door. We also have RV and tent space for additional family to enjoy. For snowmobilers the snowmobile trail connects directly to a private trail to the house. Cross-country skiers have 15 miles of trails to cross country right out the back door. You can cross country ski or snowmobile directly to Pine Junction.. We look forward to staying again next year." - "The great little house accommodated us all and a dog. It was clean and had plenty of amenities. The access to the water and the inclusion of kayaks, paddle boat, and canoe were pleasant surprise. (You should include their availability on your listing). We swam and played in the water for hours. The front porch was a lovely gathering spot to sit and eat and/or chat. And we spent a lot of time there as well. We rented a pontoon and toured the lake and had as blast. Of note: There are mice running around and they're not in the least afraid of people, lol. One sat on the side table of my bed at 2 am and just looked at me while I looked at him. I shooed it away but obviously sleep was hard to return to knowing he was still in the room with us. Fortunately I am not afraid of them and think they're rather cute. Some of the other guests were not as unfazed. One more thing, you need a new stove. We put a big pan of baked ziti in and after 45 minutes it was still cold. The oven did not stay lit even though we heard it ignite initially. We baked it on the grill. "

Named the Mayflower Lodge, this tranquil, historic home is 3300 square feet of rustic, newly updated country charm. Situated on 1.3 wooded acres that backs up to the snowmobile trail system and featuring a large lakefront parcel directly across the street with a new enclosed deck with railings; it is the perfect setting for families to enjoy the lake and the woods with room to spread out that is truly unique to other lake cottages in the area. An incredible renovation has made this property even more incredible. Beautiful wood cabinets and granite countertops are among a few of the beautiful new updates. Shiplap and new wood floors throughout the entire first floor. In addition, a beautiful new dining area with new windows as well as a new downstairs bedroom will replace the small bedroom upstairs. We are adding a third full bath on the second floor will include a second washer and dryer. We also now have an island in the kitchen and a dishwasher, as well as a coffee bar with a Keurig.

The home sleeps 10 people comfortably. There is a convenient downstairs bedroom with a Tufts and Needle mattress. There are 2 large bedrooms upstairs with adjoining sitting rooms that each have a king beds and room for aerobeds that could turn each of these rooms into a family suite. These rooms have been recently updated with hardwood floors. There is a quaint deck off one of the masters to enjoy your coffee on with a lake view. In addition to these beautiful master suites, there is also a bedroom with a full bed, and a bunkroom that can house up to 7 additional guests!! Perfect for the little ones!

There is an expansive living room featuring a stone fireplace, a large sun room with a lake view, a formal dining area, a morning room off the kitchen with a new three sided gas stove. Furniture was all updated and replaced in July 2021 as well as new wood floors and windows. The kitchen has an eat-in island, and plenty of room to make meals on site. We have a wine/coffee station with a new wine refrigerator; there are three full bathrooms; however 4 out of the five bedrooms have their own sinks with hot and cold water. These are convenient for washing faces and brushing teeth.

Ample lake access for your water toys and swimming enjoyment are available. There is great fishing off the docks. A back deck, large firepit, solo stove and incredible covered patio have a barbeque grill and tranquil lake views.

The home is stocked with games, movies and puzzles and has Netflix/Hulu fire stick and wi-fi internet access.

This area offers much to do in all seasons, including: restaurants, Peak-n-Peek Resort and Spa only 4 miles away, antiquing, water sports, fishing, casinos , and Chatauqua Institute ( about 20 minutes away ), as well as wineries. Skiers, golfers, hunters, and snowmobilers will find this getaway full of charm that you won't find in any condo. Both the wood burning fireplace and the gas fireplace are a treat on a cold winter day.

All new windows throughout the house, especially the front sunroom add many areas from which to view beautiful Findley Lake!!

Situated at the top of the lake just steps from Main Street, the home has two lakefront decks, a walkout basement patio and two docks that are perfect for families wanting to enjoy the lake.

The home sleeps 12-14 people comfortably. There are three large bedrooms, a bunk room and two full, spacious bathrooms on the upper level to accommodate guests (5th bedroom in basement). Master 1 is lakefront and has a King size bed as well as a Twin trundle daybed. It also features an expansive walkout deck, walk-in closet (with mini desk/printer/monitor if needed) and attached master bath. Master 2 also has a King size bed as well as a Twin Daybed. The third bedroom, which is lakefront and features a view of the lake, is equipped with two Queen Size beds and also offers a walk-in closet. Finally, a fourth bedroom offers Twin XL over Queen bunk beds with a pirates cove twin at the top. This room was specifically built for flexibility. The Queen beds are perfect for adults or the room can be used for multiple families staying with children.

The main floor was designed and decorated to allow for an open and inviting gathering area. It is lakefront and has a large deck that provides beautiful views of the lake. There is ample outdoor seating, a dining table, and awning. Inside you will find a beautiful, well stocked kitchen with intricate woodworking and a fireplace. There is also a breakfast bar with seating overlooking the lake. Next to the kitchen is a beautifully decorated family room with a 65 inch Samsung Smart TV. The main level also has a full bathroom and laundry room equipped with Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer. Finally, there is a multi-use area with a Stiga ping pong table and 50+ inch Samsung Smart TV.

The lower level is for fun or simply hanging out. It has a walkout, lakefront patio. In addition, it offers a 55 inch Samsung Smart TV, Xbox One with two controllers, Atomic Air Hockey Table, Foosball and an indoor Sauna.

The home has a newer grill (Spring 2023), a firepit, four adult Pelican Bay Bandit sit on kayaks and two sit in adult style kayaks. Finally, there is high-speed WiFi throughout the home as well as a wide assortment of popular board games including Sorry, Battleship, Life, Connect Four, Trivial Pursuit, Clue, decks of cards, etc.

Peek n Peak is five miles away and offers a myriad of Summer, Fall and Winter activities and festivals as well as live entertainment and dining. The home is also 20 minutes from Chautauqua Lake and 20 minutes from Erie, PA.

We have life jackets (adult and kid sizes) and a paddle boat for the family to use. We also have three fishing poles available for guests. Several bait shops in down town offer worms and you can catch fish right off the back deck!

This 1889 farm house has been newly remodeled and updated , Its located right across from the comfort inn and right off the exit of I-86. Its 10 mins from peek n peak ,20 mins to Erie Pa. Fully stocked kitchen and all the amenities you could ever need . The décor is very rustic and farm like living . We have utilized most of the antiques and given them new purposes. We would love to share this beautiful house and make it have a purpose again .

Situated on 62 acres with views of our own private, 3.5 acre pond, both summer and winter are divine at Bally Loch(Galic for beautiful lake). Lots of snow in winter for skiing at Peekn Peak or The Wilderness Lodge just a few miles down the road. Our own property is also great for snowshoeing and xc skiing. Summer is equally blessed. Our large pond is fully stocked with bluegill and large mouth bass. Weedless and spring fed makes for a refreshing swim. Rural setting means the stars and moon are bright. Only minutes from Findley Lake and Peek 'N Peak Resort make this the ideal getaway for a restful family vacation OR for a creative retreat.
All the comforts of home--recently renovated and fully stocked kitchen as well as bathroom, central heating--is offset by cozy decor and fires for evening in fireplace. Everything provided including staples in the kitchen and top quality linens for beds and towels for bathroom.
Upstairs, two bedrooms offer one full size in master, and one full and twin in second bedroom.
Modern appliances, nice pots and pans, and china, silverware, and cutting knives. Picnic tables and fire pit, chairs and picnic tables outside. We now have an expansive and ever growing network of trails around the property.

The cabin was clean and in a nice location away from busy roads but close enough to resort to make morning commute easy! The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans pantry items etc, even the frying pan was good which always my test of kitchens lol. The wood burning fire place made for cozy relaxation after long days on the slopes for our son and parents. This spot would be a great summer rental also with lake and nice back yard to enjoy the summer nights. Only not perfect thing to mention was the loft sleeping area, beds were as described clean with fresh linens but the ceiling is low.. please use caution when going in and out of sleeping area! Bring the kayaks and use the new boat launch across from the Post Office. Shadyside Road has a quiet appeal with morning sun, evening shade and minimal street traffic in comparison to the other side of the lake. Take long walks, use our bikes, and get to know the village. Enjoy the area antique shops, wineries, spa and wonderful activities at nearby Peak N Peek Ski Resort. Golf, alpine skiing, ziplines and a pool complex/spa are just 5-10 minutes up the road. We are close to the Chautauqua County Breweries. All roads are available for snowmobiles in Findley Lake with the Chautauqua County trail accessible at the end of Shadyside Road. This is a quiet place to Rellax and make memories.

The home’s location is superb, the best on the lake, in our opinion. We are on the east boarder of the lake utilizing/enjoying breeze cooled by crossing the water to our home; this same breeze creates mild flow and movement in the water providing an optimal swimming experience compared to other locations on the lake. The outdoor living space offers substantially more privacy than many other homes due to the design of the lower deck which receives shelter from both sides. Views of the lake can be seen in almost every room of the home. There are generous views of the lake from the well-equipped kitchen, whether you are preparing meals at the counter and sink or enjoying time with family and friends at the dining table. All four seasons are lovely at Findley Lake. We welcome babies and children; however, the home is not baby/toddler "proof." Therefore, all eyes must always remain on young guests. We have many antiques and family heirlooms throughout the home and appreciate care and mannerly behavior within our space. My children did not have "sticky fingers" as youngsters; I would appreciate the same courtesy within our home. Please keep food and drink in the kitchen or outside at the provided dining tables.

The lower deck is accessible with large well-lit steps with a handrail; a permanent ladder with safety handrails allows convenient access directly into the water. Please bring your own beach towel and sunscreen! The views are exceptional and will surely become cherished memories.

While we do not "host" any specific activities; the area has a great deal to offer during every change of the seasons. The winter months offer the opportunity to partake in a multitude of winter activities: snowmobiling, skiing, tubing, swimming at Peek'n Peak and more. The spring offers beautiful blooming flowers all around, golfing and traveling to local destinations. The summer months are packed with things to do such as swimming, fishing, tubing, skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking and so much more. The fall offers stunning views with the changing foliage on the trees, enjoying campfires with friends, hiking at Panama Rocks and attending the local fall festivals. All seasons offer great dining, festivals and road trip-accessible destinations.

Findley Lake is a public lake. However, the boat ramp is managed by The Findley Lake Watershed Foundation; please refer to their website for hours of operation pertaining to the boat ramp and boating guidelines. We follow New York state boating laws and require our guests to abide by the laws, as well.

Should you have intentions to bring a watercraft, we need to have a conversation, well in advance/prior to booking in order to determine compatibility with our docking/mooring/berthing options.

I have certain areas unavailable to guests, such as closets; I would appreciate courtesy in being polite guests. The upstairs bathroom closet is the exception, as the bath towels are contained therewithin that space. I am very generous with providing all bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet paper, tissues; please be prepared to bring your own beach towels, food, paper plates and all necessities

Lovely, country home with many amenities and rustic charm. Master loft bedroom with king bed, two bedrooms with queen beds and one pullout twin bed in small den. Two full bathrooms. Large fully screened in porch with panoramic view. Large deck overlooks the lake. Walk down a few steps to 20 foot dock with landing and bench. Great family getaway with lots of lake activities. Fun for children and all ages.

My place is close to great views and attractions. You’ll love my place because of the warm and relaxing setting. It is good for couples, business travelers, and families (with kids). During the winter it is great for snow skiers only minutes from the slopes of peak n peek, or for golfers . Enjoy the beautiful view of the lake from the large deck, or enjoy the lake from your own private dock. Nearby town 1/4 mile .

Not only plenty of bedrooms/beds, but there are 3 separate “hang out” spaces for whatever people want to do. It was great that the boys could watch football and not bother the rest of us. We even turned one of the areas into an impromptu space for “family yoga” one morning! The kitchen has all the cookware you need (we always cook as much as we can) and plenty of space for 2 cooks. Even with snow outside, it was warm and cozy inside for everyone. There is also a 2 car garage that is actually useable (We had a minivan and Jeep Liberty that weekend), super helpful for the cold snowy weather! There are televisions and board games and games and plenty of seating. I’m not sure what else people want to know, but we will be looking for stay here every time we come to the area!"

Beautiful clean and modern 3br 3ba house on Findley Lake NY. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Could sleep another 2 using trundle beds. Wonderful sunset and lake views on large front deck. Perfect getaway for anytime of year. Only 7 min to Peek N Peak Ski & Golf Resort. Or enjoy local snowmobile and hiking trails and wineries. House is within a few min walk to the center of town with quaint shops and great food. In the summer enjoy the dock with ladder access for swimming and bring your kayaks or canoes to launch from town. Looking for a quiet retreat or a grand adventure, this is the stay for you! Note: one flight of stairs to access main level of home- either the stairs on the exterior of home leading to deck or one interior set of stairs. Additionally driveway is very steep and can be tricky in the snow. 4 wheel drive is recommended during winter months.

If I'm being picky, they could have used to have a salt bin for the front stoop as it was a little icy on arrival and they could use some light canceling/heavier window coverings upstairs, but it really was a nice place and we really enjoyed our stay." - "Our group of 6 adults and 4 teens really enjoyed our stay at this property in February for a ski weekend at Peek’n Peak! The house had everything we could have needed - plenty of space to cook and eat meals together and lounge on the big sectional sofa at night watching movies. Very close and convenient location to the slopes (about an 8-10 min drive) but so much more reasonably priced than staying at/near the resort. My only minor complaint (or comment really) would be the heat in the upstairs master bedroom/bathroom… it got very hot while sleeping, but maybe we just weren’t using the thermostat right?! Thankfully there were plenty of fans to help try to cool things down. Overall, we had a fantastic trip and would definitely stay there again!"
