This is a private suite of two rooms and a private bath and additional room with twin beds which share the bath. I’m at 317 North Pitt Street. The house was built circa 1840 in the Greek Revival style. There are trees all around adding to your privacy and we are a within walking distance to town. The rooms are spacious and comfortable with high ceilings and many windows to allows the views of the gardens.
The sleeper sofa in the living room sleeps one. There is an additional fee of $20.00 per night per person.

DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY:
This cabin sits in the center of our 60 private Acres, surrounded by approximately 600 acres of private and state hunting lands. it's a great place to get away from it all and immerse yourself in nature.

Take in a gorgeous sunset from the wraparound porch, roast some marshmallows on a campfire at the fire ring, hike around the woods on all of the trails, you can even paddle around our pond in a canoe!

The cabin is rather small, about 1,000 square feet total. It consists of a bathroom, downstairs kitchen area, and an upstairs living and sleeping space. Three rooms in total.

The kitchen features all brand new stainless steel appliances including a refrigerator with a filtered water dispenser and ice machine, dishwasher, natural gas oven with cooktop, and a microwave. there are plenty of plates, bowls, drinking glasses, coffee cups, and silverware. there's also a chef's knife set, a basket of specialty cooking utensils, acacia cutting board, and a high-quality set of cast iron skillets, pans, and pots. There is also a large bluetooth boombox available for guest use.

Upstairs there is comfy sectional couch, full size murphy bed, and a bunk bed with a full on the bottom and a twin on top. all the beds have high quality memory foam mattresses. All of the recessed lighting upstairs is fully dimmable.

The space has a beautiful juxtaposition of hand hewn rustic beams with clean white walls. The cabin has a freshly renovated kitchen with all new cabinets and stainless steel appliances. The spacious bathroom has 10' ceilings with a skylight over the shower. There is a large wrap around porch that overlooks the valley in the front of the cabin, it has ample lighting, and is great place to watch the sunset and have a drink!

You will have access to the entire cabin as well as 60 private Acres with a beautiful pond, large field, and plenty of forest.

we are all so amenable to hunting on the property as well as staying at the cabin, through this will increase the nightly rate by 40%.

Entry to the cabin is done via electronic door lock with a pin code.

Downhill are state game lands no 39. It's the largest one in the state with over 10,000 acres.

UTV RENTAL:
Rent a UTV to explore the trails during your stay at the cabin!

We are excited to offer a brand new 2021 John Deere Gator for rent during your stay at the cabin. We have 60 private acres with lots of trails to explore. The gator is a fun and exciting way to experience the forest.

We will have the gator filled with fuel and waiting in the driveway for you. All we ask is that you treat the machine, and the land with respect. The cost of the rental is $150 per day in addition to any accommodation fees. There is also a contract/waiver we will email to you, it will need to be electronically signed and emailed back.

SUMMER CANOE/KAYAK PACKAGE

Come stay at a beautiful cabin in the woods, and spend a day kayaking or canoeing on the Allegheny River. A memorable adventure getaway that will get you back in touch with nature.

We have partnered with a local Canoe and kayak outfitter; Oars Allegheny- After you book the cabin, shoot us a message and let us know you're interested in the canoe and kayaking. We will notify the outfitter of your interest and when you're coming, and then you are responsible for contacting them to sort the specifics of your trip. They generally charge around $55 per person to pick you up and drop you off at the cabin, and that fee includes them providing you a kayak or canoe.

Let the Outfitter know how long you would like to be on the water, as he has a variety of different put in and take out spots on both French Creek and the Allegheny River. He will drop you off, and explain to you where to get out of the river so that he can pick you up. Then you're off for a relaxing float down the river to take in some of the most beautiful Wilderness that Pennsylvania has to offer.

When you arrive at your designated endpoint, the Outfitter will be there to pick you up. They will load up all of your canoes and kayaks, and then bring you and your entire party back to the cabin. Then everybody can unwind and have a relaxing evening around the campfire!

They offer 2-person and 3-person canoes, sit-in and sit-on-top kayaks, as well as a few tandem kayaks.

Here's a couple of items you might want to bring along:

After giving us a heads up of your desire to hit the river, we will contact them simply as courtesy, but you need to contact them as soon as possible to work out the specifics of your river trip. You can pay them directly when they come to pick you up.

Oars Allegheny runs trips from mid April to mid October.

We are located in a quiet country setting, in western PA's Amish Country, but if you are seeking adventure or exploring is your game - it abounds nearby! We are a short 15-20 minute drive to several recreational lakes for fishing, boating, and beaches (bring your boat - lots of room to park). There are also several wineries and distilleries and beautiful state parks for hiking, or exploring the paved bike trails nearby. Take a lazy ride down the Shenango River in an inner tube or kayak/canoe, with rentals available in Greenville and Jamestown - again only 15-20 mins away!

Within approximately 30 minutes you can adventure to places like Pymatuning Spillway (come feed the fish and watch the ducks walk on their back!), the quaint shops at Conneaut Lake, the Deer Park Petting Zoo, the Grove City Shopping Outlets, Keystone Safari, or explore the rock gorges of McConnell's Mills, then swing by the quiet eclectic village of Volant for crafting and tasting experiences on your way home.

Within about an hour, you can take the family Erie to attend minor league baseball/hockey action, concerts, or explore Presque Isle State Park in Erie (gorgeous beaches, paved biking paths with rentals of bikes, kayaks and paddle boats). The entire family can relax and spend a day at Waldameer Adventure Park & Water World. Head east and explore historic Franklin & Oil City (birthplace of the oil boom, craft shops and antique stores), or travel west to Youngstown Ohio for concerts, plays, shopping, restaurants, and their own version of minor league baseball/hockey.

Pittsburgh and Cleveland are slightly over an hour away, with their world-famous museums, zoos, aviary, botanical gardens, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, professional sports teams, and food/crafting/tasting experiences galore!

The centerpiece of our home is the Great Room. Marvel at the exclusive wooden exposed beam construction overhead, as you bask in the glow of the magnificent two-story granite fireplace. Sit and enjoy your favorite beverage on the interior balcony overlooking the fire while you catch up on your favorite book. Incorporate the grand staircase into your intimate private wedding, and then have space for all the important people in your life to join you for the weekend stay. If family time is key - simply enjoy gathering together playing board games or cards, while listening to the crackling fire, as you stream your favorite shows on the huge TV.

Options abound with the Great Room! We can set things up for large gatherings of friends or family and using the numerous couches and recliners in both the GR or connecting TV lounge area, along with family-friendly table space. Bring the crafting gang, use the portable tables and chairs to set up your sewing machines or scrap-booking tables around the fireplace. Or use the room as a meeting space, venue for baby/wedding showers, or private wedding receptions, with the option to seat up to 80 people!

There is tons of lush greenspace outside to setup the volleyball net, cornhole boards, or play a game of kickball or frisbee football. Go for a quiet walk in the Amish countryside, or bring your fishing poles to try your luck in our own private pond! Sit and enjoy the sunrise and sunsets off the large wrap-around porch and quiet patio area. Check out the small vineyard or fruit tree orchard, as you listen to and watch the abundant wildlife that surrounds this magnificent home! A paved driveway, and ample private parking allows you to be off the road - not that it's very busy anyhow!

We offer 6 bedrooms, ranging from the private Master Bedroom to our "lodge-style" rooms with multiple-bed sleeping accommodations. Sleeping space for 23 adults is what makes this estate home truly unique! Comfortable linens are provided for all beds.

A private full bath is provided on each floor (total of 2) with showers/toilet/vanity areas, plus an immense Master Bath/Sitting Area equipped with jacuzzi-style tub, and a separate private shower/tub area. Off the Great Room, we also offer a private half-bath as well. We provide towels/washcloths for each guest, and a large high-capacity washer and dryer are available on-site as well for your added convenience.

There is ample kitchen space with fridge, stove/oven and microwave. We provide nearly all the typical kitchen gadgets and place settings you will need. There are large spaces to setup private catering for your party or event, or bring on the crockpots, as you set up for your scrap-booking girls weekend away! A large formal dining room provides even more space to gather together and eat, sew, or just visit over a rousing family game of Monopoly!

Fully air-conditioned and heated, this is a great place to enjoy any season. There is tons of dresser and closet space, and room to spread out and enjoy one of the 8 large screen TVs (all Wi-Fi enabled) - or stream to your favorite device as you flop by the cozy fire after a long day exploring! From a hunting trip or fishing getaway to one of many local destinations, to a church youth retreat, or as a gathering place for class reunions or family vacations. The options are truly endless!

Welcome to your peaceful retreat. From the expansive property, to the spacious home, to the stunning pond views, enjoy a truly unique rural escape located just a mile from the heart of quaint Grove City, PA. This 14-acre property including the horse pastures, the barn, and the wrap-around deck overlooking the pond and wildlife is all yours to enjoy.

The home, aka The Ranch, is a custom-built, private home located on 14 acres of beautifully manicured land. The entirety of the property is yours to enjoy during your stay. The home is located about ¼ mi from the road, with a long driveway that provides both privacy and peace.

KITCHEN: One of the stars of the house, the kitchen is located at the heart of the home. It’s a multi-leveled design with a separate eating area that overlooks the pond via a series of elongated windows. The kitchen is a fully equipped kitchen with an electric stove top, full size oven, reverse osmosis water filter, dishwasher, dishes, and silverware. We have a few plastic plates, utensils, and one highchair for the kiddos.

LOWER LIVING AREA: Located off from the kitchen in one of two living spaces. It has a sectional sofa, a love seat with large ottoman, TV with Google TV, and deck access via sliding door. Note, there is a wood-burning fireplace, but for safety, it won’t be available for guest use.

LOWER LEVEL BATHROOMS: There is a spacious guest half bath located just down the hall from the living area, and a full bathroom just across the hall with a jack and jill sink and rain shower. You’ll have access to luxurious shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the full bath, along with depuffing eye masks.

DOWNSTAIRS BEDROOMS: There are two bedrooms located on either side of the shared full bath. Each room has a queen bed, full sized closet, bedside lighting, USB ports, and view of the woods.

DINING ROOM: Located on the upper level off of the kitchen, there is a formal dining space for larger families to enjoy meals and the view.

UPSTAIRS LIVING AREA: Just a few steps away from the dining room, guests are welcome to enjoy the spacious second living area with two couches, a baby grand piano, and a desk and dedicated work space overlooking the pond. Note, there is a second fire place located in this room, though like its counterpart, is not available for use.

MASTER SUITE: Located on the upper floor, the large master suite has a queen bed, dresser, and walk-in closet. Attached is a full sized bath with a separate toilet room, jack and jill sinks, and bathtub / shower. You’ll have access to luxurious shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, along with depuffing eye masks.

SUNROOM / STUDIO: Located directly off the master suite bedroom, is a gorgeous space with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the property. The room contains yoga mats and meditation pillow, as the space is perfect for both! There is a pullout futon available for additional sleep space if needed.

OUTDOOR AREA: The wraparound deck has a table for outdoor dining, a grill, and four Adirondack chairs for peaceful lounging (naps encouraged). You’re welcome to explore the grounds, including a path around the pond, a bridge that takes you to the horse pastures, and the barn.

THE BARN: While the barn is no longer a functioning one now that the horses have found other homes, you’re welcome to explore. We invite you to sit and enjoy the view from the memorial bench located just off from the barn. One of the most special spots on our property.

Any door that is locked is off limits to our guests. The two fire places are also off limits.

Otherwise, the property is yours to enjoy!

The property is a 5 minute drive to downtown Grove City (Broad St). We would not advise trying to walk as Cranberry Road does not have sidewalks.

Spend your escape shopping downtown, exploring the outlet malls, visiting local colleges and universities, hiking trails at the stunning surrounding state parks, kicking back at local breweries, or simply relaxing in the quiet of our private estate.
