Gull Cottage is a beautiful, historic lakefront home with huge picture windows overlooking a large back yard and lake Erie, with expansive views of the lake from almost every room. It has a deck with a grill, and a large back yard where you can enjoy a sunset over the lake. It has high speed internet, a smart TV, washer and dryer, and a garage, and more.

Harmless Midges will hatch in June (most likely) when the lake temps reach 60 degrees along the shores of Lake Erie, clinging to the house, cars, your hair, just about anything. The annual event happens in early June, as the lake warms up and the days get longer. That's when the mosquito lookalikes hatch, fly onto shore, swarm, and reproduce. I will contact guests who have a reservation during those days to advise and give an option. This is a natural event, and we will provide a bug vacuum during your stay. We also have professional bug treatments regularly.

Every year, the situation varies depending on the timing and number of hatchlings. We will make the best decision based on the individual circumstances. We have no intention of having guests pay for a ruined vacation venue, but we will also not offer a discount or refund for a few bugs on the lake. We have several options and will contact you so we can come up w a plan when or if that happens.

Please keep all doors and windows shut. We have provided screens on all windows and doors. We also provide a long vaccuum for any insects that may sneak in during your stay. Professional exterminators do service this property as needed.

Parking in the driveway can accommodate 2 vehicles.

BRAND NEW! Enjoy gorgeous lake views and breezes while making memories with family and friends in this totally renovated 1920's cottage. This is NOT on the lake. It is a Lakeview across the street. A private back yard includes a picnic table, fire-pit and 2 bikes.

The open concept space is great for entertaining family and friends with 50" HDTV TV in the main living space. Start your day at the coffee bar, and end it at the large granite island with dinner in the modern high end kitchen featuring a new gas stove, dishwasher, fridge and microwave should you chose to stay in rather than go out to one of the many fine restaurants. 2 private bedrooms with TV's. The luxury bathroom has a beautiful walk-in shower and double sink vanity.

This cozy cottage is only a hop scotch away from gorgeous Lake Erie. Traveling with your families best friend? Perfect, dogs are allowed within this home and welcomed at Fairport Harbor Beach and along the walking trails at Mentor Lagoons Park if leashed. Be sure to take the entire family to visit Mentor Headlands Beach State Park for the largest Beach in NE Ohio.

While this home is equipped to host 6 people, our driveway only provides enough space for two vehicles. Please be sure to not exceed this limit as it complies with local laws.

Is that a cloud you're sleeping on? Nope, just the memory foam mattresses we stock in every bedroom. Two of the bedrooms are equipped with queens while the middle bedroom has two twin sized mattresses.

Sure, eating at the finest restaurants can be fun, but sometimes we all need a nice home-cooked meal. That's why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook you and your family a nice dinner.

For our early birds, the kitchen is equipped with a Keurig prepared to make single cups of coffee (K-cups) or an entire pot. Your first morning will have K-cups provided.

With you located so close to the lake, you will always have a breeze. To enjoy the great weather further you can relax outside near the fire pit and roast some marshmallows at night. (Keep in mind fire wood is not provided and must be brought by the guest). Or relax on the 12'x16' deck with a patio set and grill up some grub!

Don't miss out on Lake Erie's amazing fishing experience. We have plenty of charters around the surrounding area to catch Walleye and Perch!

The home is located on an island surrounded by our local marsh. Here you will have amenities such as a small grocery store, gas station, ice cone shop, pizza shop, park and gas station. The island is also bike friendly so feel free to bring your own bicycle to enjoy local sights. Only a five minute drive up 44 S, you will find restaurants, large box grocery stores including, Sams club, Walmart, Target, Meijer and Heinen's.

Once the sun goes down, the family can enjoy a smart tv that has a number of streaming apps to log into including Disney +, Netflix, Hulu, Youtube TV and more. (Please bring your own log in info). Or if tv isn't of any interest, push the coffee table aside and bring out the board games or cards stocked for you.
