- "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this cute and charming cottage right in the heart of everything Bemus Point has to offer. The unit is much larger than it seems on-site and is furnished to suit anyone's needs, the bed was really comfortable and the little extras were a nice touch. We also loved the outdoor space and particularly relaxing in the rockers on the front porch. The bathroom is very, very small so if you're big & tall or need a larger bathroom, I'd suggest looking at one of the other 2 rental units on-site. We were in town for a wedding and had to reach out to the host a couple times and Ken couldn't have been better. He was responsive and quick to provide anything needed. I would definitely recommend any of this host's properties to anyone considering a stay in the area - and the area is absolutely worth the visit!"

- "We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint cottage we were very comfortable. The only thing I would add is maybe a fire ring and possibly a small stackable washer and dryer. This location/unit is definitely accommodating for boating and fishing.. Nice towns near by. We really enjoyed Bemus Point, the grocery store is very nice and has realistic hours of operation. Everyone is very friendly. My family enjoys Hogan’s Hut , the only bait shop this side of the lake. We went to the town of Lakewood, the downtown area unfortunately is a ghost town after 4:30. The only place open is the laundromat which is what we needed so no complaints there. This was our fourth trip to Chautauqua Lake and this was the best place we stayed at. We definitely will be returning! Thank you!"

This property is just before the North/Elm Lane entrance to the world famous Chautauqua Institution! As a guest you will have all the convenience of being just 25 steps to the North gate and a trolley/bus stop picking up every 15 minutes or short 5-minute walk to the heart of the Institution!

At the same time, you're not required to have a full day pass unless you want to pay for it! Pick and choose your times and days according to your schedule and desired activities as opposed to being required to have a pass just to get to your place of stay! Large yard with multiple sitting areas and ample parking included!

- "This was a charming place right in the heart of Bemus point. We had everything we needed for a little getaway. The owner takes great pride in presenting a welcoming environment. It was very appreciated!" - "The location of this building is amazing. You can walk to all the hot spots in Bemus within minutes. As for the studio, the amount of space worked well for my family of 4 with two little ones. I do wish I would have known it was the basement of the house. Basements can be musty and hard to dry the floors were constantly sticky and dirty we did our best to combat that with the air conditioner to get air movement. If you are planning to use the futon couch as a bed I suggest you bring an air mattress to lay on instead there's a big bar in the middle that is quite uncomfortable. Communication and texts from the owner were great. When I asked about the protocol for the shared laundry he responded quickly. It worked for us, but for our yearly Bemus trip we will find another place that is not a basement."

Lenna Performance Hall, Fletcher Music Hall, McKnight Performance Hall, and Turner Educational and Fitness Facility are all within a 3 - 5 minutes walk. Tram bus stops at the corner just off the green space by the dance school.

- "Hosts were incredibly gracious and helpful. We had our own patio and were able to eat outside every night which was lovely. Kitchen was very well equipped. The basement level meant it was often cool enough not to need to use the AC, though having the central AC as opposed to noisy window AC units like we had last year at Chautauqua was a huge upgrade for us when we needed it. Plenty of closet space , lots of linens, easy and efficient laundry. Lovely week!"

- "We decided to go to Jamestown to visit the Comedy Hall of Fame. We decided on this condo and community as it was near the lake. Also was close to wine country on Lake Erie. Both were worth the visit. The owner Samuel was very helpful during our stay plus giving us suggestions for Dinning out." - "Upon arrival we were greeted by a great staffer then everything changed when we opened the door to our rental. First AC was not working, TV was not working and the disposal. There were large gouge marks in the 1970’s vinyl flooring in entry and Kitchen area and the bathroom vinyl flooring was pulling away from the walls and tub and on either side of the toilet. The refrigerator is old and has ice so thick it’s pushing on the freezer door. The carpet is soiled. I am not the only one who had problems with this unit, the complaints go back to 2018. The bed was great, The location was good. This unit sadly shows lack of updates and care. I will not be using Vrbo again."

- "Generally a well-maintained condo, except that when I sat on a dining room chair for the first time, it collapsed. I only weigh 120 pounds and had sat down as I normally do. It obviously was already broken and reassembled by whoever did it in such a way that it appeared to be OK, even though one of the legs was detached from the seat. In the fall, my wrist, which had been previously broken, was badly twisted and my finger bled at the nail where it got caught in the bars on the chair back. When I called the management, he said the cleaning staff didn't report it and implied that we may have broken it, then apologized. He also said he would get back to me but never did. I expected better treatment than this. The air conditioning was set at 68 degrees when we arrived, which is the temperature listed in the departure instructions. This makes it much colder in the bedrooms located on the lower level. I had to find two extra blankets that first night in order to sleep. I suggest the instructions be changed so no one has to arrive to a very cold room. Other than these two problems, the place itself is pleasant with two balconies. It's about a mile to walk to the Chautauqua amphitheater and other lecture locations. We enjoyed the walk, but someone who has trouble getting around would need to take the shuttle."
