The owner is lovely, we don't have much German and she doesn't have much English so we commicated mostly by email but she was really responsive and we found that language was no issue at all. The apartment is located in a lovely estate with some beautiful properties, and about a 15 minute walk to the town centre which is absolutely stunning and has a good choice of restaurants, cafes and shops. - "This place is excellent! Super quiet and right in center of town. Roomy separate bedroom with something we particularly liked- "real" (US style) pillows that were just the right level of firmness (vs. the large square Euro pillows which we usually find too big & mushy). There are about five units in the building, each with a different decor motif, and this one was sort of like a tasteful bachelor pad- classy decor, and some of the most beautiful "mood" lighting we have found in any place we've stayed. There was a sofa bed (not extremely comfortable) in the living area. Had cable TV. Kitchen had a great fridge and every else you'd expect, with ample plates, glasses, etc. Everything was spotless clean & smelled fresh. We did have issues with the communications being in German, and although they did respond to our request to getting things in English, it was limited, and left us unclear about the check in process or when we'd be billed. But upon arrival check in was through the affiliated cafe right next door, and the person there was very helpful and spoke English quite well. A warning about the on site parking which is available for an extra fee however- it is underground, with an extremely narrow entry drive that is also extremely steep. The spaces are also very narrow, with very little room to maneuver. We had a smaller Jeep and it was brutal getting it in and out of there, and I really wish I had just parked in a public lot, which is nearby, but has very limited spaces."
