The bathroom is good, it’s a stand in shower for those who prefer tubs. The breakfast spread was wonderful. It’s a a great location, we didn’t try the pool but I know it’s not something many hotels have in the area so that’s great. The rooms don’t have AC so that’s something to consider for the summer. It’s very close to a supermarket. I appreciated the free tickets to several attractions and the locked parking garage for cars was a great option. The hotel has an elevator, a little small but it’s always appreciated. There is an outside playground and a little play area inside for children, which is great for families. The TV channels offered were very good with things like Nickelodeon and Disney. Overall and excellent choice for families with children. I would definitely stay here again. "

- "This owner went above and beyond to help us get to the Gasthaus/hotel by providing transportation because we ran out of fuel with no stations open then had their restaurant fix us a couple sandwiches and brought them to our room. In the morning their was a fresh cooked and several choices for breakfast. The hotel/gasthaus has been in the family for five generations. This sits on a hill in the country with beautiful views. I will definately go back again. Rolf and Suri thank you again for all you did. They then had to drive us back to our car in the morning. They made us feel like family. "

Restaurant was closed when I went to do the the chech in, finally someone apears. I went to the restaurant to checkout and it was closed, I went back to the apartment and left the keys inside." - "Clean and centrally located." - "I did read mixed reviews on this property - however, if you are properly aware before you book, you will enjoy it. The gasthaus is separate from the pretty building with the restaurant in it. (About 200 yards downhill). You can park at no charge up behind the restaurant but then it is a hike to where your room is. We found it easier to pay for parking overnight in the public lot immediately across from the gasthaus. Very short walk. We ate dinner in the restaurant in the larger room at the rear with the charming beamed ceiling. Since we had vegetarian pizza, I can’t comment on the Bavarian dishes cooked here. Our waiter was attentive, friendly and fun to talk to. If you are expecting an American style breakfast, you will be disappointed. We had a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, some hot seeded rolls, orange juice, coffee and fruit. If this is not good for you, I would suggest not buying the breakfast and perhaps trying the bakery down the hill. Our waitress at breakfast spoke no English but was again very friendly and we managed to make ourselves understood. So the negative comments I read elsewhere about the staff were unfounded at least during our stay. The room was nice, had a great shower and we used the radiant floor heat (twist the dials in the bathroom and the bedroom). Our visit was in September when it was cool - summer may be a different experience. The hotel will give you a ticket that lets you in to the waterfalls, the Black Forest museum and Fantasy. "

- "This is a beautiful apartment set into a hillside flower garden. The interior is bright and has all the required equipment including a dishwasher. It does not have a laundry. There is a king size bed and a day bed in the single bedroom. The bathroom is large and well appointed. There is a nice flat screen TV in the living room, and Wi-Fi is available for a very minimal fee. But the main reason to stay at this house is the balcony overlooking Triberg. The view is fantastic with a few Church steeples and many, many rooftops. There is on-street parking either above or below the house. Either way, it is a climb (or descent) to get to the house. It is through beautiful gardens. If one is in good enough shape to handle it, it is a nice walk into town or to the famous waterfall. (We are athletic 60 year olds, but I had a knee injury.) We walked into town several times for dinner and shopping. The woman who manages the apartments (3) is very friendly and helpful even though her English is poor. There is a refundable breakage deposit and cleaning fee, but it is still a great value for a postcard view.."

Van alles aanwezig tot aan badhanddoeken toe in het appartement. Ook veel informatie aanwezig over bezienswaardigheden in de buurt. Je moet wat trappetjes op of af om bij het appartement te komen, maar dat is goed te doen, en je wandelt tussen prachtige bomen en planten door. Alles heel goed verzorgd. En natuurlijk een fijn uitzicht over Triberg. Parkeren was nooit een probleem. Makkelijk parkeren kan in de Hermann Schwer Strasse, vandaar trappetjes af naar het appartement."
