- "Our stay was excellent. It started at the reception, with friendly, helpful and informative personnel. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean, with Refrigerator to keep our drinks cool. The only thing that did not function was the remote for the television, so changing channels had to be done by hand. The hotel did attempt to fix the problem, yet it still didn't function right. We received great information about the Tram to Strasbourg, the stop is just across the street, as well as must see sights in Strasbourg. In addition, the hotel is just a short 200 meters from the Kehl city shopping and pedestrian zone filled with stores, shops, bars, restaurants, cafes and ice cream shops. We are planning to visit Kehl and Strasbourg again next year and will be booking the ates Hotel Straßburg in Kehl for at least 3-4 nights. We did not partake of the breakfast buffet, since we wanted to experience the local flair."

- "A jewel of a little German Lodge in the lovely little hamlet of Kork. The hotel is in an historic old brewery and owned by the same family for a hundred years. Mark the Owner/Chef is a friendly and knowledgeable host who helped us make the best of our two-night stay. I chose this hotel because of its Michelin Guide recommendation, and the restaurant definitely lived up to that designation. Our meal on the first night was fantastic. I had the Caprese salad and the veal medallions with noodles. Firat class!! The rooms are Euro-style with new bathrooms which are spacious. The showers have excellent hot water pressure. There isn't a kettle for hot water for tea, but the staff will provide hot water from the espresso machine upon request. For those on driving tours, the hotel has six free parking spaces which is very helpful. One big advantage of this hotel is that it is next door from the commuter rail istation nto Strasbourg, which is very convenient. I definitely do not recommend driving into Strasbourg as it has restrictions and is, as expected, extremely pedestrian focused and crowded. The train time to Gare du Strasbourg is 20 minutes. In sum, we had a very enjoyable stay and would definitely stay again at this fine little hotel!"

Delightful hosts next door." - "We stayed four nights in this charming apartment and used it as our base for exploring Strasbourg. It sits at the back of the owner's property which is gated and located in a very safe residential neighborhood. The bedroom is a good size and comes with two comfortable twin beds. The kitchen and bathroom are both well-stocked with travelers' essentials. The washer and dryer work well. The wifi works well also. We didn't use the TV. Parking is on the street in front of the property and is free. We had no problem finding a close place to park. There are no stairs to enter the apartment but there are four stairs inside the apartment that separates the bedroom and living room from the kitchen and the bathroom. The floor is heated (so nice!). The towels are the best! The journey to the tram station in Kehl is 15-20 min away by car. From there, the tram comes around every 10 minutes or so to transport you into Strasbourg. The owner was very responsive to messages and was flexible with our check-in time. She met us when we arrived and gave us the keys and an orientation to the apartment. She speaks an adequate amount of English required to communicate the basics (very helpful!)"
