The apartment was very spacious for my family of 5. What was really nice was being able to park in a designated space right in front of the entrance which made bringing in luggage very easy. We booked it for a week over Christmas with the goal of having a place where we could hunker down and cook a nice meal on the 24th and 25th. The place was perfect. It's a short walk into town and the Christmas market, or you can walk along the canal, or even head into the hills for a hike which we took advantage of on a couple occasions. It's also a quick walk to the train station which provides easy access to the wonders of Strasbourg. Laurent was friendly and welcoming and everything in the room is immaculate (and was decorated for the season, including a little Christmas tree!). The bed is comfortable and the appliances are recent and in good shape. And the house is beautiful! There is all kinds of wonderful art both from Saverne as well as other places throughout the beautiful old staircase to the room. And the doormat at the entrance seems to be custom made to match the tiles: the whole place is full of these little attentions to detail that make it particularly special. We absolutely loved our stay and I don't think it could have been any better. "
