Dunescape Beach House is located on a quiet street ,with a view to the north and is opposite a national park.

Prevelly Beach , a few minutes walk away , is one of the South Wests most beautiful and untouched beaches with miles of perfect white sand and clean clear water with safe swimming areas and world class surf breaks.

One of the best things about this area is the wonderful south western breezes which pass through the home to provide natural ventilation . We have a log fireplace in winter which is prepared for your arrival and lots of windows for the breeze to pass through in summer (no air -conditioning) perfect for the mild weather.

To make the most of your stay here you will need a car. If you're flying to Perth and driving south pre-book your car rental for pick up at Perth Airport or CBD.

In Summer, the place is literally bustling with visitors looking for a coastal getaway and with famous breaks, diving spots, wineries, Karri forests, 35,000 year-old caves, walking trails… and if that’s not enough, it’s also a providore haven to boot! Surfside Retreat is a fully renovated beach house in a quiet street in Gnarabup, Margaret River. The interior is all brand new with modern furniture to match. The house has everything you want for a quintessential beachside family holiday down south. It’s just 800m to Gnarabup swimming beach and café, and 5 minutes to world class surf breaks. For those active souls, tackling the iconic Cape to Cape walk, the track can be accessed 1km away, making Surfside Retreat an ideal start, end, or stop off point on your journey. Margaret River township and wineries are also minutes away, so it’s a great location for a holiday, all year round.
The Space
Through the front door off the verandah, you enter the home into the freshly renovated, generous sized, open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The living area is light and bright with wood fire place, smart TV, and comfortable seating for family and friends to gather. Through large sliding doors, you’ll access the wrap around verandah and north facing deck area. There you’ll find a large bbq and outdoor dining table perfect for entertaining and relaxing under a canopy of peppi trees.
The kitchen is brand new and has all the mod-cons to make any homecook happy. For those who prefer to eat out while on holiday the White Elephant cafe and The Common bistro are just a short walk down the road.
The master bedroom is a peaceful retreat at the back of the house with king bed, TV, access to the deck and stunning brand new ensuite bathroom that has shower, toilet and vanity. The 2nd bedroom is down the hall, with queen bed, huge wardrobe and neutral, beachy finishes. At the front of the house, off the living area is the bunk room with two king single beds. The main bathroom has a shower and vanity and there is separate powder-room with toilet and vanity. The laundry includes new washer and dryer and has access to outside, down a set of stairs to the gorgeous back yard.
The garden area is lovely, with a large grassed area and swing in the peppi tree. Please note the boundary of the property is not fenced which adds to the holiday feel, however the house and entertaining areas are private and peaceful, perfect for backyard cricket or relaxing in the shade
There is parking on the driveway for 2 vehicles. There is an Electric Vehicle Charger, free for guests use.

The Space

Wake up to a delicious breakfast at The White Elephant, spend the day exploring the beautiful Margaret River region, and wind down with dinner at The Common or Sea Gardens. After a day of adventure, relax in your private sauna or soak in the indoor spa bath.

The house is huge, offering space for everyone. The main floor has a large open plan living area where you’ll find the kitchen, seating area and dining table. There is a seperate TV room and a 3rd living area upstairs, off the master bedroom which offers ocean glimpses. The kitchen is well equipped, ready for you to book up a feast. There is a large deck with outdoor dining and a BBQ, perfect for family gatherings.

Upstairs you’ll find the master bedroom with King bed, reverse cycle air-conditioning, access to the bathroom and double doors opening onto the 3rd living area. The second bedroom with King bed and air-conditioning is also located up here. The bathroom has a shower, vanity and toilet which services both bedrooms.

On the main level you’ll find the three other bedrooms and family bathroom with corner spa bath and seperate shower. Bedroom three has a king bed and air-conditioning, bedroom four has a queen bed and air-conditioning and bedroom four has two single beds and a ceiling fan.

Out in the backyard there is a trampoline for the kids to enjoy and a private sauna for the ultimate relaxation! There is a small grassed area and native gardens. There is an outdoor shower to cool off after the sauna, or rinse off after the beach.
