You cannot beat the convenience of the hotel which is located just a short walking distance from the entrance/exit of the park. After a full day of fun with the kids, it was very nice to have the hotel so close by. The hotel itself was fine, the room was relatively clean, the beds were comfortable, and my kids had fun with the scavenger hunt that involved finding different items in the room in order to get a code to unlock a treasure chest which had little lego sets inside, a very nice touch. The reason for only giving three stars is, as other reviews have noted, the walls being incredibly thin. At around 9:00, when we were trying to get our young boys to bed, a kid in a room next door to us was screaming and swearing at someone in their room, calling them a "f***ing moron" which was clear as day in our room. Then, in another room, across the hall, a baby or young child started screaming and crying hysterically at around 2:00 AM and it lasted until at least 4:30 AM when my wife and I were finally able to fall back to sleep. I cannot express how loud it was in our room. This seems to be a frequent occurence at the hotel based on other reviews I read, so you're rolling the dice a bit staying here. All in all, it's probably worth staying here if you have a long ride back so that you can stay at the park until it closes and maximize your experience. "

You'll enjoy your time here in this two-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage. Bedroom 1 features a queen bed and desk/designated workspace. Bedroom 2 features a bunk bed with a full bed on the bottom and a twin up above. Rounding out the cottage is the light and bright bathroom with double vanity and a magnetized french-door shower.

The second floor has 2 sleeping spaces, a full bathroom, and a work space. One bedroom has a king size bed plus a twin day-bed with a twin trundle for kids. The rest of the upstairs is an open space with two full-size beds, plus a small pull-out couch, and a desk is located in front of the window with a nice view of the backyard. (Please note that this bedroom does not have a door, but is separated from the other bedroom by the staircase. Sound does travel between the 2 rooms.) You'll find lots of books and kids' toys upstairs as well, along with a full bathroom with a soothing claw-foot tub/shower.

The backyard is fully fenced in, so feel free to bring the dogs along. We also have a lovely deck for lounging outside, and a hot tub in the backyard. There is plenty of parking and we provide free, unlimited electric car charging on our Blink level 2 charger. Trendy restaurants, bars, and cafes are all within a 5 minute walk, and Legoland is less than 2 miles down the road!

We would like to kindly ask that you do not invite additional guests to the house without prior notice. We're more than happy to have you host meals, etc with additional friends and family, but we do not allow parties or underage drinking.

We love to offer early check-in and late checkout to our guests for free, but please note that it will be available ONLY if we do not have a check in/out on the same day. You may request early check-in / late checkout 1 day before your arrival / exit. If you absolutely need early check-in or late checkout, please book an extra day in order to account for that.

The owner was very quick with a response and getting the service out to the location and they were very thorough getting everything cleaned and ready. From the pictures, I thought that all of the beds were in open areas but actually there are only two beds that are in more of an open loft space but that worked out perfectly for our group and the rest are behind doors. The barn has 3 floors for living, work and play with about 5000 sq ft, sleeping 12 easily. It has big spaces and comfortable areas inside and out to be with family and friends. The main floor has a full kitchen, living area, two bedrooms, a den, dining area, and a full bathroom. Large glass doors open to outdoor seating where 12-16 can lounge/dine.
The top floor is a bright open space with vaulted ceilings, a living area, main king bed, second private bedroom, and a large bathroom. The view and lighting is amazing up here and has been used for photoshoots and as artist studio space. The bottom floor is a good room for kids or entertaining with ping pong and darts. There is another king bed down here and full bathroom. Laundry is on the bottom floor near the bathroom.
The property itself is located off a private road where we have another house nearby. If you need more space for your visit feel free to enquire about our other house (4 bdr) in your message.

- "As a fellow owner of rental properties - I hate to leave a bad review but I think here the expectations need to be reset. The house itself is ok and was clean but I would say the pictures are a few years old. The basketball hoop was broken and in the garage. There are only three full baths not four. The bedroom in basement has no windows (may technically not be a bedroom), gets no airflow and had a leak with some mold in ceiling. When we arrived the yard had not been tended in quite a long time. To the property manager's credit they did get someone out there the next day but that doesn't fix the fact the deck could fall apart any day. We tried to work with Owner and VRBO as the price paid clearly doesn't reflect the value of it but to no avail. Don't want anyone to make the same mistake we did."

The reservoir retreat is a spacious home in one of the best parts of Goshen. Its peaceful location is five minutes away from the center of the Village of Goshen and also five minutes from Legoland.
