- "Great check in. I have stayed their before and I indicated that i was traveling with 4 children on my reservation. We did the room treasure hunt and there was only 2 lego sets and 2 juice boxes. The room Holds 5 and we had 5 people put out supplies for that? " - "We took a trip to Legoland this past weekend with our twin boys who were turning seven and stayed overnight in the Legoland Hotel. You cannot beat the convenience of the hotel which is located just a short walking distance from the entrance/exit of the park. After a full day of fun with the kids, it was very nice to have the hotel so close by. The hotel itself was fine, the room was relatively clean, the beds were comfortable, and my kids had fun with the scavenger hunt that involved finding different items in the room in order to get a code to unlock a treasure chest which had little lego sets inside, a very nice touch. The reason for only giving three stars is, as other reviews have noted, the walls being incredibly thin. At around 9:00, when we were trying to get our young boys to bed, a kid in a room next door to us was screaming and swearing at someone in their room, calling them a "f***ing moron" which was clear as day in our room. Then, in another room, across the hall, a baby or young child started screaming and crying hysterically at around 2:00 AM and it lasted until at least 4:30 AM when my wife and I were finally able to fall back to sleep. I cannot express how loud it was in our room. This seems to be a frequent occurence at the hotel based on other reviews I read, so you're rolling the dice a bit staying here. All in all, it's probably worth staying here if you have a long ride back so that you can stay at the park until it closes and maximize your experience. "

ABOUT OUR HOME: Orchard Hill Estate is a historic farmhouse estate, built in 1859. The kitchen and home are fully stocked. We are close to NYC and many major attractions but our 5.5 acres will make you feel like you have escaped to the country.

ACCESSIBILITY: Our home features wide entrances and step free access. The entire first floor (kitchen, accessible bathroom with roll-in shower, accessible bedroom, dining room, large living room, sunrise porch, sunset porch) pool area, fire pit and more are wheelchair accessible.

THE GROUNDS: Our large pool and year-round hot tub are located in the back of the house. We also have a small orchard of apple, pear, peach, as well as wild grapes and walnut trees.

PERKS FOR PARENTS: Our home is perfect for a large family, family reunions, or a trip with the grandparents. Our home is very large, but there plenty of privacy for parents. The dormitory style bedroom is the perfect room for siblings and cousins or friends. Please note that we use a sterilizing process on our towels to ensure they are thoroughly sanitized for your comfort and safety. As a result, there may be occasional minor color fading. Some of our pillows are filled with natural down feathers. While they`re primarily white down, you might notice a few darker feathers showing through the white pillowcases—this is completely normal and part of the natural variation in down. We also provide synthetic pillows for those who prefer them. Credit Card processing fees are non-refundable.

- No parking or driving on our grass.
- It is against NYS law to have firecrackers, fireworks etc.
- No smoking or vaping inside the house or on our decks. Cigarette butts and matches to be disposed of properly. Please don’t drop on driveway or grass.
- Do not enter spaces with signs that read “Private”.
- Burn only firewood in our indoor wood burning stove. Painted or pressure-treated wood is not permitted (such as DuraFlame). Do not use accelerants.
- No more than 4 people are allowed on the small balconies with a max weight limit of 800 pounds. No more than 8 people are permitted on the larger balconies. Use of the balconies is at your own risk.
- No glass or glass bottles by the pool or hot tub.
- Please recycle as we will be fined by the town.
- Please do not fly drones over other neighbors` properties.
- No RVs or camping on our property.
- You may move our grills but please don`t put them on our bluestone.
- Replace hot tub cover after use. Failure to do so could burn out the heater and motor pumps.
- Absolutely no food, cups, glasses, etc. on our table tennis (ping pong table) or piano.
- No indoor furniture may be moved outside
- Placement of tables, tents, live music, catering equipment etc. must be approved by ORCHARD HILL ESTATE.
- No illegal activities on our premises.

Decorations:
- All decorations must be removed without leaving damages. Be kind and leave the property as you found it. If lit candles are used, we ask that you provide a glass base for each candle. Please do not put decorations on our plaster walls with tape or push pins.

- "Abbe and Jeff were the best hosts for my brother’s bachelor party weekend. The house itself is perfectly vintage, with lots of charming character, absolutely tons of space, everything you could imagine for a chill summer weekend. The pool was clean, spacious, and the pool area + grill were a perfect setup for making your own food. The yard was a sunny place to chill, lounge, enjoy the sun, and enjoy lawn games, and the house itself was stocked with all the amenities you need. I was thoroughly impressed! The amount of beds was crucial to housing everyone under the same roof – and the indoor rec room was the perfect place to cheer on the Olympic Games. The location is situated just south of Newburgh, adjacent to Storm King and Harriman State Park. You are both completely in a rural feeling, even though you are in the accessible suburbs, only an hour and a half away from New York City. We golfed at a beautiful course only 5 minutes from the house! Abbe and Jeff were wonderfully communicative. We got along fantastically, and I was so grateful to them for a very thorough explanation of what to expect from the house, including a personal tour around the property. We didn’t use the barn, but the barn looks absolutely stunning for any other type of event. Overall, this was the perfect weekend to relax just outside of New York with a bunch of my favorite people.
