The house is right across the street from the ocean, very near to the beach and harbour. We got to see seals! The marina area is right down the hill, and the main part of town is just a ten minute walk. Greystones is a gem, if you don't already know, and an easy train ride or drive to Dublin. Please pay attention to any recommendations that Caroline or Alan make, you won't go wrong. When they say the scones at Spendloves are amazing, believe it! The beds were comfortable, house was very warm and inviting, the dining room looks right out on to the water. Don't hesitate, just book! You will have no regrets."

Swallow cottage is a large luxuriously refurbished cottage located beside NewCastle Village, Co. Wicklow in the Garden of Ireland. The property is part of an old courtyard complex which has been recently renovated. The property is on two levels and comprises Large Living and Open Plan kitchen area with one Bedroom (double bed) and ensuite shower room on the upper level and a very large bedroom with double bed and one single bed on the ground floor with adjacent shower room, entrance hall and utility room. The property sleeps four persons comfortably and a fifth person ( on single bed) can be accommodated in the very large ground floor bedroom. Equiped with WIFI and TV's.
The property is located on a working farm and beside the Birdwatch Nature Reserve in Co. Wicklow. Located in North Wicklow and literally 20 minutes from South County Dublin, it is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, 40 minutes from the Centre of Dublin and 10 minutes from the village of Greystones to the North and 10 mins from the town of Wicklow. The Wicklow National Park , Glendalough, the Powerscourt Estate, Kilruddery are all within easy driving distance. Druid's Glen Golf Course is less than a 5 minute drive away and there are at least 10 other golf courses within a 10 minute drive. So it is an ideal location for golfers who might be interested in basing themselves in Wicklow. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the farm, half a mile. Other amenities close by include horse riding/polo/ cycling/ walking/ sailing. The farm is located close to where the Vikings TV series is being shot.

The farm has been restored and the target is to make it as environmentally friendly as possible and re-introduce native wild life and plants that had previously been wiped out by industrial farming. The reason it is called Swallow Cottage is because the Swallows return each year to the barn adjacent and nest there for the summer.

The Bus stop is located 1 minute from our home and the train station is 10 minutes walking. Buses and trains (D.A.R.T) run regularly to and from Dublin City. Guests are welcome to leave their cars parked at the house to avoid traffic and parking in the City.

Yew Cottage is a large luxuriously refurbished cottage located beside NewCastle Village, Co. Wicklow in the Garden of Ireland. The property is part of an old courtyard complex which has been recently renovated. The property is on one level and comprises Large Living and Open Plan kitchen area. There are two bedrooms, one large Master suite and one one slightly smaller double bedroom. There is a large very comfortable bathroom (shower only - no bath). The property sleeps four persons comfortably. Equipped with WIFI and TV's.

The property is located on a working farm and beside the Birdwatch Nature Reserve in Co. Wicklow. Located in North Wicklow and literally 20 minutes from South County Dublin, it is an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, 40 minutes from the Centre of Dublin and 10 minutes from the village of Greystones to the North and 10 mins from the town of Wicklow. The Wicklow National Park , Glendalough, the Powerscourt Estate, Kilruddery are all within easy driving distance. Druid's Glen Golf Course is less than a 5 minute drive away and there are at least 10 other golf course within a 10 minute drive. The beach is a 10 minute walk from the farm, half a mile. Other amenities close by include horse riding/polo/ cycling/ walking/ sailing. The farm is located close to where the Vikings TV series is being shot.

The farm has been restored and the target is to make it as environmentally friendly as possible and re-introduce native wild life and plants that had previously been wiped out by industrial farming.

There is an additional cottage (Swallow Cottage) on site, which can accommodate 5 further guests. Extremely private and secure.

- "My husband and I stayed at black ditch for six nights and enjoyed a very comfortable modern with rustic touches two bedroom, two bathroom apartment in the countryside of Newcastle. Beautiful property close to the sea, a short drive to Castle Inn where we enjoyed a delicious dinner. We also had a lovely roast lunch at Hunters Inn. - "The location is very nice, next to the beach. There is quite a lot of traffic during the day which is an issue since the road is right next to the house and the insulation is quite poor. It took a while to figure out things like wifi, using the shower, how the central heating works etc because sadly there were no instructions. Some of the towels were very dirty. Also there was no soap, shampoo or hand wash. Outside the kitchen door there was a broken piece of plastic which made a lot of noise during the night when it was windy."

Wake up to the sound of the sea! Our home is a four story townhouse in the beautiful coastal town of Greystones, Co. Wicklow. Our home overlooks the beautiful Cove beach in Greystones and is perfect for families with young kids as we have a baby room, a kids bedroom and two adult bedrooms. Every room in our house has amazing views of either the Sugar Loaf mountain to the back or the sea to the front and we are walking distance to the town and the stunning
Greystones Marina.

The space

On the ground/first floor we have a fully equipped kitchen, bar area with wine/beer fridge, large indoor dining area, outdoor patio area with outdoor dining option, sitting room and toilet.

On the second floor there is the master bedroom with a super king bed and ensuite and a kids bedroom that has a bunk bed that can sleep up to three kids and an ensuite.

On the third floor there are another two bedrooms, a king bedroom with spectacular sea views and a baby room with a cot and a single bed. These bedrooms share a family bathroom.

On the fourth floor there is two workstations and a beautiful modern sitting room with direct access to the balcony which has spectacular views over the sea and all the way to Dublin Bay.

There is spaces for two cars in the driveway of the property and we have an electric charger also.

The Cove beach is 15 meters in front of the house and 5 minute walk from the bustling area of Greystones which has amazing cafes and restaurants. There is so much to do in the area from hiking to golfing to forest and cliff walks.

Greystones is 30km south of Dublin in Co. Wicklow. It is about a 45 minute drive to Dublin city and is on the dart train line which brings you straight into the city in approximately 50 minutes.

Wicklow is full of spots for hiking, cycling or a host of other holiday activities. 10 to 15min drive to over 6 championship golf courses.
