The second floor bedrooms were also spatious with nice views and comfortable beds. My only complaint was that the mattress/pillows had a distinct mildewy smell. The staff did completely change the linens which helped, but the smell was still there. But I do hope to go back one day as my overall impression was still very high. We rented a car so that we could take in as much of Jeju Island as we could, but there are restaurants, cafes and a convenience store all within walking distance."

You can walk right down the road ~5 mins and then turn left at the main intersection to go up the hill to World Cup Stadium (~10 mins), where there is also an Emart department/grocery store and a major bus stop."

Last landing is at 22:30 at night and first flight out is at 6:30 isch. So You wont be disturbed by the planes. Our room was great with wifi, free water and two beds. One of the beds were on a loft, really cool. The area is okey with several restaurants and a starbucks. Breakfast was good! And the staff so so friendly. We even got a free transport to the airport by the guy working at the hotel. I do highly recommend this hotel and I would definately stay here again!"

It's not near the main tourist area, so you will have to drive for shops and restaurants, but I'd stay there again if I got a good deal. Only negative is the rock hard beds; normally I'll take very firm, but the bed literally felt like a mattress pad made of plywood." - "My family and I stayed at the Dombe resort for 5 nights. This hotel was very nice, it was clean, the staff were very friendly, the views from our room were absolutely gorgeous. Every morning they served an American breakfast. Really the only complaint my entire family had was the beds. I think maybe this style of bed is rather common for Koreans, it was just as hard as the mats that my kids slept on the floor with. All of us adults struggled to get any sleep at night and were all extremely excited to get home to our own beds. We made our reservation for two bedrooms and 5 people thinking my husband and I would share one room with a kid on the floor and my mother in-law would take the other room with our other child on the floor. The hotel expected there to be two people in each bed though and so they only gave us own set of korean floor bedding. We ended up having to pay an additional $50 for the 5 nights just for the extra floor bedding. This seemed a little ridiculous to us all but were more than happy to pay it because we didn't feel like our mother should have to share her bed. Besides these two things we were very happy at the hotel. The staff spoke some English, which is great because we speak very little Korean. "

- "First of all, the location of the place is strategic as its about 12 mins drive from airport (the previous stay was near jeju city and being a light sleeper I could hardly sleep due to the sound of the aeroplane) , around 15 mins drive from jeju city and not too far from Seogwipo that you can totally do a day trip without having to move there. In love with the layout as it comes with a small balcony that faces the sea and a bathroom equipped with a jacuzzi tub. The place was sparkling clean and the kitchen was quite well equipped. We received a warm welcome from Mr and Mrs Kang, a very friendly and helpful couple who reside in the reception lodge. Mr Kang can communicate quite well in English and can help with recommendations and directions for eating and sightseeing. The room is very clean, tidy and well maintained. One must bear in mind that it's a European style pension so some of the rooms are under slanted roofs. The seaview is relaxing for the eyes from the balcony of the room. Perhaps the only setback is that the shower is open style so we always have to wear slippers (provided) stepping in the bathroom. I must emphasise that the bathroom and the toilet is very clean ... I only find it a little uneasy as most of the floor will become wet after shower. Parking is free. Individual wifi for each room was perfect. Drinking water is generously provided. Basic kitchen utensils are also available in the small open kitchen area. Make plans for breakfast outside if you are not prepared to buy simple groceries and cook inside the room. There is a convenient store just a minute walk from the pension. The Vadada Cafe nearby, as recommended by Mr Kang, is a must go if you wanted a nice coffee, burger and spirits. My overall experience with Sunnyday Jeju was marvellous. It's my type of accommodation for getting away from the city. - "The pension is wonderful for a stay by the sea. It's a very relaxing place to stay. Although the road is in front of the pension along the sea, there's very little traffic and mostly people walking the Olle trail. There are barbeques that many people enjoyed. There's a good size kitchen as well. The pension was immaculately clean. The downside is I found the bed a bit hard and the outdoor lighting stayed on quite late so it was a bit too bright for sleeping. Since I don't speak Korean, I initially had difficulty understanding the arrival details because the hotel provided a landline phone number. Hotels.com was very helpful in giving me an email address and they provided a cell number 010-8003-9955 which allowed me to text and use a translator. I would recommend that the host post the cell number on the hotels.com website. It's a great area and I found many cute restaurants. Overall it was a great stay and I will definitely return. "
