The menu may sound pretentious but essentially it is super fresh ingredients cooked and presented well. Again just one complaint. We were not offered an aperitif upon arrival whereas everyone else had been. Hey Ho. Staff were friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer!"

- "The site is extremely nice, well laid out other than the mobiles being a little closer than one would wish. Lovely pool, great restaurant with reasonably priced menu. The nearby beach is rather rugged, great for surfing & the nearest town is approximately 25 minutes walk away. All in all it suited us very nicely. Contemporary in style with its own large open decking 2 loungers and table and chairs indoors and outdoors . We had unit number 10 under the pine trees but plenty of sun on the decking area. A canopy was over some of the decking . The only downside was that the mobile home needed extra cleaning which took me over an hour to do. It came up looking lovely but I think it should have been done by the staff properly before our arrival. The fridge was the worst and floors .Also the inside and outside of the cupboards . Also the outside decking furniture had quite a bit of hardened pidgeon poop over it ,also the decking steps . That being said , an hour out of my holiday time was more than made up by the overall holiday. Ile de re is fantastic for bike riders of all ages , the beaches are great .. we recommend Le bois plage, but there are plenty of others to choose from. We would be happy to go back to the same place to stay but will maybe look into trying different accommodation just because we rarely go the same place twice. I totally recommend it though for anyone , families or couple’s especially. "

A bicycle is essential travel on Isle de Re and great fun. The rooms are quite amazing and very intimate indeed. We "splurged" on this hotel and therefore had expectations that it would be a lovely time. The jacuzzi type tub looked exciting! We filled it up and turned on and the jets shot water ALL over the room. My son screamed in horror begging me to turn it off, but within the few seconds of turning it on it had the room soaked. A mess to clean up. It also shot out black specks into the water after the jets were turned on. Gross. Given the tub was a bust, we tried to use the shower...the open shower also was difficult to control and figure out and then the water for that went everywhere as well. It was not pleasant. The lights were super frustrating. The controls are complex and difficult to figure out. It sounds minor but was super annoying to figure out constantly. They also had strange "colored" lights that you could not get rid of and were really ugly. We changed our plan to check out early and had pre-paid for our stay. We realized we would lose the money on the hotel stay, HOWEVER the hotel also forced us to still pay for our bike rentals even though we returned them early as well as the breakfasts that we were forced to agree to at check-in that we never used. It felt like a rip off especially given the disappointing room."
