Great family home of character. My property is 75 km from Paris making it an ideal destination for a Week-End with family or friends. Between Vetheuil and Giverny, on the way Impressionist this is one of the most beautiful villages in France. Enjoy my accommodation for its exceptional view of the Seine valley, its tranquility, its rustic charm and proximity to historic sites
(Castle of La Roche Guyon Claude Monet museum, Bizy Castle). Beautiful walks in perspective.

Olivia coped most professionally with our late booking, was there to welcome us, and was consistently helpful, even to the extent of phoning us when the lovely local Vet forgot to give us an essential paper for our dog's return to England. I would highly recommend this place if you are traveling with kids or two or even three small families. There are several rooms and all the beds were clean and comfortable. The house feels well loved and has plenty of homey charm. However, the view you get to enjoy from the living room ( and master bedroom) elevates the entire experience so that you feel you could almost be staying in a castle. We were traveling with three young tweens and they got to have the bedroom with the three singles which suited them perfectly and they enjoyed the “trampoline with the best view in France” (If you are traveling with someone who can’t do too many stairs there is a ground level bedroom as well). The owners communicated really well and were really nice and the little towns nearby are lovely. We walked to the town of la roche guyon several times using the little trail through the woods ( a bit steep so not recommended for tender knees). The Monet gardens are only 10-15 minutes away. Be prepared for lots of people at Monet gardens. We loved visiting the Château La Roche Guyon. Be sure to climb to the top of the tower for great views. Christiane, the property owner, was most accommodating when we needed to make some last minute changes to our arrival time. Communication throughout was welcoming, easy and timely. The property itself is situated in the owners garden but at a distance from the main house to ensure privacy. It is very prettily decorated and spotlessly clean. Christiane had even filled a vase with flowers from her garden. We would recommend hiring a car, however there is a convenient bus within a 5-minute walk which heads into Giverny, Vernon, and Gasny. There is a large supermarket on the outskirts of Gasny village. The bus stops outside. If you like gardens, castles, churches, and medieval history this studio is a good base from which to explore. Monet's house and gardens is a must but get there in the morning as it can get busy. We would also recommend spending some time exploring Vernon. We spent a very contented week at the property, and we are already considering returning for a long weekend. "
