A beautiful sandy beach nearly 100 feet long, large swimming and sunning dock, screened in porch on boat house, beautiful waterfall with professional landscaping, gentle slope to the waterfront, putting green complete with sand trap and tee, bonfire pit, hammock, plenty of sun and shade, stairs into water and much more. There are lots of lake front entertaining spaces to make GREAT memories. Valentine House has it's own private boat ramp and great fishing. Almost 300 feet of waterfront with both deep and shallow water access. High speed cable internet. Paddleboat(NEW 2025), 2 kayaks and some water toys included for your enjoyment.
House renovations include an all new kitchen and new bathrooms in 2018. Large great room with huge picture windows and amazing views of the lake. 3 bedrooms are located on the main floor allowing for easy access for children or seniors. The master beds are new and comfy. A master bedroom suite complete with an adjustable king size bed, beautiful bathroom with large shower, and French doors that lead to side porch. If you are boating, you are close to the widest part of the lake and Dike 3, which is one of the best fishing spots on the lake. There is a boat rental marina directly across the lake from our cove, about a 5 minute boat ride.
In summer, rentals are available for minimum of 6 days during high-season (Memorial Day to Labor Day). During the summer, check-in is only available on Saturday or Sunday. Summer check-out is only available on Friday or Saturday. Off season rentals are available for a minimum of 4 nights.

We had three families, all with children, staying for a week (6 adults and 5 kids). We spent the majority of the time in the water and on a boat (rented locally). The beach area was great for the little ones, and the dock was deep enough for the big kids and adults to jump off of. The cove we were on was quiet and the end of the lake we were on was much quieter for tubing, unlike the other side of the lake. We didn't get a chance to use the hot tub, but it was clean and in good condition. We typically have four families on our vacation, but if the time comes where we only have three again we would absolutely return. Thanks for a wonderful vacation!"

Beaver Beach at Lake Anna

The cabin has been updated and is ready for guests! Enjoy cooking in our large, gourmet kitchen or grill some steaks out on the deck. The house has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom on the main level and 2 bedrooms and a bath on the second floor. The bedrooms upstairs are very cozy due to the A Frame of the roof but really, why stay inside when you have such a beautiful waterfront spot? If you do stay inside, you'll have magnificent water views from the large wall of windows.

This family-friendly, A-Frame style cabin is small but a perfect spot on the lake. The property is approximately 2 acres and has many outdoor activities available: jump from the dock into the quiet cove, take the paddleboards, canoe or kayaks out for exploring, play a game of hoops, enjoy the serenity of "Beaver Beach," roast marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit, play in the big yard, fish from the dock or shoreline, and many more fun activities await you. Beaver Beach is on the west side of the property and has a very shallow shoreline with a smaller cove, perfect for children. If you're lucky, you'll catch a glimpse of our resident beaver in the early morning hours.

Beaver Beach is located on the public side of Lake Anna so if you bring a boat, you will have water access to restaurants, the state park, The Tap House and local marinas.

- "From the moment we booked this vacation home, the owner was a tremendous help with everything....and that continued through the week of our stay. The house setup is amazing for large families with open concepts both upstairs and downstairs to gather. The kitchen was fully stocked and has the largest island I have ever seen. There was plenty of everything for our group of 16. The dock was amazing....plenty of room, sun and shade, TV/music, tables/chairs for meals/games, fishing rod holders, beautiful peaceful lake with minimal boat traffic. We spent hours just floating in the lake. They also provide a wonderful "honor system" service of gas for the boat we brought with us. We were able to fill up several times right at the dock and at the end of the week we filled up the gas cans at the local gas station. The owner provided canoes, kayaks, paddleboard for guest use. We highly recommend this house and these owners to work with for your rentals in the future. This house is located on the private side of the lake which comes with so many advantages."

We're a Mom and Pop operation. This is our home. With linens and cleaning services, we keep up with the house ourselves. No "glossed over" servicing by big management companies. No AI responses to your questions. We're usually available to respond or take care of concerns ourselves. We are often at our place nearby.
The house has 5 bedrooms. There's a master bedroom on the main floor and 4 more bedrooms below where you can walk out the back door, facing the water. Sleeping arrangements work best for 4 to 5 couples and there are 3 bunk beds to accommodate 6 kids. The 2 large master suites have water views. There are 4 baths and a powder room. There are 3 large, tiled showers, a big jetted tub, and a standard tub.
We have dining seating and place settings for up to 16. The kitchen has 2 connected rectangular tables, seating 8 and the round dining room table seats 8. While there are no doors, they are separated by the family room. Because the long rectangular kitchen table is actually 2 tables, it allows flexibility to create smaller group settings or to move closer to the dining area for a combined dining experience. There is a table with 3 additional chairs, the same as the kitchen set downstairs that act as a work area.
Our linen service provides freshly laundered sheets that are folded, wrapped, and waiting for you on each bed. Plush, clean towels are folded in bathroom under-sink cabinets.
Our cleaning service makes sure that the house is clean and sanitized between bookings. We conduct walk-throughs, ourselves, to ensure that the house is clean, stocked and in-order.
The large, well-appointed, and well-stocked kitchen has Corian counters, extra tall solid hickory cabinets, an island with a cooktop, double ovens, and plenty of prep room. You will have plenty of cookware, serving pieces, plates, utensils, and glasses for meals. We have both Keurig and Mr. Coffee and just about all other appliances that make for an equipped kitchen. There's a second fridge in the laundry room and a third in the bar downstairs.
Both the breakfast table and the dining room table seat 8 and face the lake. Downstairs, the bar doubles as a second kitchen. It has a fridge, sink, cooktop, microwave, toaster oven, and a coffee machine. On the deck, there is a table seating 6, and 2 chaise lounges. On the side deck outside of the kitchen are both a propane and charcoal grill. Under the deck is another patio table for 6, a picnic table, a bench, and a selection of lightweight chairs to use in the yard.
New this year, an outdoor showerhead to rinse off before you go back in.
The fire pit by the water is surrounded by Adirondack chairs in a soft frame of rubber mulch.
We have 4 kayaks and 4 paddleboards . They stay on the lawn on a rack. An aluminum rowboat rests near the water. A selection of life vests is in a large bin under the deck.
We welcome everyone seeking a lake getaway. The house design is perfect for a 3 generation family vacation. We have 5 bedrooms with 2 Kings, 2 queens, 3 bunk beds, and 2 convertible full beds. It comfortably accommodates up to 11 adults or 8 adults and up to 6 small children. We have a Pack and Play infant bed, a highchair, and a booster seat.
With almost 5,000 square feet of living space, the house is designed for entertaining. It has the feel of a bygone era when things were built to last. It has a solid and custom architectural design that includes high ceilings and arches. There is a formal billiard room, a butler’s pantry, a wet bar and lounge and an air hockey table. Cabinets (in the bar) are filled with board games and puzzles. The shelves below 2 TVs are filled with DVDs. The one-of-a-kind table lamps and other are thanks to the creativity of our dear brother(-in-law).

For those clear, cool and quiet nights, a firepit with Adirondack chairs is located in the yard overlooking the lake.

A short walk from the deck and you can enjoy the peace and quiet on the private sandy beach located between the property's two docks. A sandy bottom and clear water make this a great home for swimming and floating on the lake. Enjoy the water with the two provided kayaks, paddleboards and numerous water toys, floats, and floating water matt. Beach chairs, fishing poles, and sand toys are also provided.

With two docks and a boat house, there is plenty of room to bring your own boat or jet skis. The community boat ramp is located a half mile from the property and accessible with the provided gate key. The beautiful, covered boat dock includes a screened porch by the water for relaxing with lounge furniture and plenty of additional chairs and tables.

Back at the house, there is a Ping-Pong table, pool table, basketball arcade game, and dartboard in the garage which has been converted to a game room and is sure to thrill kids of all ages. There is also a large choice of traditional board games and puzzles. Wireless Internet, DVD players with numerous DVDs, and Satellite TV are also provided.

The home is provide with everything needed for your perfect family getaway: Bath towels, bed linens, comforters, and a fully stocked kitchen with all needed pots, pans, blender, crock pot, coffee maker, toaster, etc.

The view of the lake and the easy access to the water is awesome. That the owners allow you to use their water toys -- two kayaks, three paddle boards, numerous floaty things --- makes this an ideal place for a family. No need to lug your own kayak or ponder whether to rent a paddle board just to "try it out." We enjoyed our stay. One note: this is rural Virginia and the wifi/internet can be spotty. - "This is a great rental property there are a few cons though Pros: great location with easy entry in and out of the water. Great floating area. Clean and well kept except for the downstairs shower which the floor was grimy. . Close to grocery store. Lots of places to put umbrellas for those who are fair like me. Under deck patio with plenty of seating. Upper deck with a crank awning that gives enough shade for the dining table. Beautiful view. The beds are great. Check in and check out very easy. Cons: the cookware is awful. Also the loft bed situation is questionable. We had a twin and a double. The listing states two twins. When asked they didn't tell us it was a trundle twin till after checkout. Also if you pulled the trundle out I don't think it would be easy to move around the loft. All considered we would rent again."

Outdoor and indoor games, peddle boat, paddle board, 2 kayaks, and a canoe. Please bring your own vests. Located on the public side of the lake close to restaurants, wineries, and shopping.
