The little country store just down the road is a must-visit. We enjoyed eating at Scoot’s Barbecue and Hole in the Wall which are 20-30 minutes (approx.) away but worth the drive. We also enjoyed exploring the quaint nearby town of Mathews. Check out Southwind Pizza if you go. The home is perfect for a couple or small family. My husband, 11-year-old son, and I enjoying kayaking with the provided equipment. We saw a large bald eagle right on property. Beds were comfy and kitchen was adequately stocked for preparing meals and snacks."

This house has breathtaking views from all angles. The dock is great we saw lots of crabs and did some fishing. Two nights we even saw dolphins!!! Check in was very easy, and with gps it’s easy to find. We didn’t need to contact the owners because we had zero issues. It’s almost impossible to have a relaxing vacation with small children, but this serene location and all it’s amenities actually made this possible. It was worth the 10 hour drive to get there for us 10/10!"
