- "This is a pretty simple hotel. Low price, simple room that is nothing fancy. They are doing a remodel to update some things, still not fancy but it was very clean. The customer service though I must say was a definite 10/10. I was in town to run a marathon which meant that everywhere was fully booked. I mistakenly booked a smoking room and the lady at the front desk noticed by my outfit that I was a likely runner and wouldn't want a smoking room but they were fully booked. She told me which room she thought smelled the least due to the recent renovations, gave me multiple keys to let me check the different rooms to see which one smelled the least like smoke and offered to let me switch the next day if they had a cancellation. I also checked in very late and she contacted me while I was driving out there to make sure I was still coming so that I could cancel and get some money back if not. While I ended up staying in the smoking room due to no other vacancies I think the customer service needs to be called out as attempting to go way above and beyond to help me with a problem that was entirely my own fault."

This is 2BR/1BA condo that has been decorated beautifully. It is has a fully-stocked kitchen as well as a laundry room with a washer and dryer. There is a separate area in the main living space that has an L-shaped desk, perfect for guests who are traveling for work and need a place for their laptop. The wifi code will be provided to guests during check-in. The living room is decorated beautifully, with a large couch, accent chair, and ottomans. Enjoy the 55' smart TV with YouTube TV that is accessible to all guests. If guests have their own login for other apps such as Netflix or Hulu, they can login with their own credentials . The dining area boasts an 8 foot table with benches. It can comfortably fit 6 but can seat up to 8 with two additional accent chairs that are used in the condo for additional seating. Enjoy the custom bar that was made for this space as well! The master bedroom has a king bed and the guest bedroom has a queen bed. Both also have dressers for storage and access to the closets. Enjoy the sunset view out of the windows that overlook Poindexter Street in downtown Elizabeth City. The bathroom has two separate vanities and a large shower/tub.

This is a private condominium, with several other residential units. There are no shared amenities for the building, only shared common areas that include the lobby and the stairwells. Our lovely historic building was also built in the 1920’s and has many original features—with that, it lacks some of the insulation that we are used to today. This means that you may hear neighbors above or beside you occasionally. You might also hear cars drive by outside. To reduce any noises for lighter sleepers, we have an industrial fan and also provide ear plugs/eye masks during your stay.

This property has been set up to provide the most comfortable sleeping and lounging experience possible as well as convenience. Bedroom lamps have USB and outlet ports with one room having USB nightstands with an outlet port for each. All Mattresses are brand new and not too soft and not too firm. Each room has drawer storage in every bedroom, with two large closets in the queen and master bedroom and a large chest of drawers in the twin bedroom.

The living room seating is designed to provide a cozy and comfortable experience for the family or friends with an overstuffed sectional and LED light for a calming atmosphere.

Also, enjoy a spacious fenced backyard if you wish to stretch outside or let your kids run free.

- "It is in a nice, quiet neighborhood with a good location. The place was clean-ish, but could be more clean. There were no exhaust fans in the bathrooms, which made for a damp smell and a humid area to get ready for the day. Barely any extra amenities like linens, pillows, towels, washcloths, or toilet paper. There is a washer and drier but no laundry soap to use. An ok place to stay in a pinch, but not my first choice."

- "The host was good with communication ahead of time. Upon arrival, the home was in what appeared to be a state of abandonment. The code the host gave was right and we were able to get in. The AC was not on, so it was almost 90 degrees and the house smelled musky. There was what looked like a months worth of mail on the kitchen counter along with some tools (maybe from previous maintenance?). The floors and counters were sticky and there was pubic hair stuck to the counter in a few spots. Several windows were found to be open, without screens. One was unable to be shut down due to frame damage. There were old family pictures on the walls and the closets were full of coats and clothes. There were a lot of dead bugs (live ones too) and also signs that mice were in the house. The whole house was as if it had been abandoned and then sat for several months without being occupied. My girlfriend and I sat on the couch trying to make up our mind if we would stay or try to find a new place. While sitting down, we both began to itch where the couch was touching us. So we decided we would not be able to stay. On the way out the door, the front door was hard to shut and lock because it did not have a door handle. Only a keypad. This only compounded my frustrations, especially after driving 6 hours to get there. I called the host and told him there was no way we could stay the night. He was very understanding and had VRBO send us a full refund. With cleaning, it could be an OK place to stay"

The master bedroom includes a full bathroom. There is also a full bathroom in the hallway. More than enough space to relax and enjoy.
