Relax in a spacious and comfortable lakefront home located in a quiet cove just seconds off the main lake in the northeast quadrant of stunning Lake Gaston with no bridges or tunnels to navigate.

This beautiful home offers three stories with outdoor sitting areas and spectacular views on each floor!
The top floor contains 2 bedrooms and a full bathroom. One bedroom has a queen size bed, a sofa and a private balcony with a wonderful birds nest view. The other cozy bedroom has two roomy full over full bunk beds.
The main level offers one bedroom, which has a queen size bed and full bathroom that includes a spacious walk in shower and stacking washer & dryer/ laundry center. The main level also hosts the kitchen which has recently replaced cabinetry with quartz countertops and stainless steel appliances. The open concept leads directly into the living area and the entire back of the house has a wall of glass for a breathtaking view that leads onto a large partially covered patio so you can enjoy the lake no matter where you are in the house or on the property.
The lake level, has a bedroom which is furnished with a queen sized bed, with an expansive full bathroom. In addition there is a kitchenette with a spacious lounge area containing a sofa bed, two recliners, a large selection of board games, books and an 8' slate pool table. There is a beautiful view of the lake from inside that leads to a large patio to enjoy outside. Just steps out onto the back patio, you will find a gathering bar to sit around with friends and family while enjoying a friendly game of cornhole on the permanent granite cornhole boards or relax in one of the 4 swings while enjoying the view of the lake or the warmth of the fire pit.

There are 6 Smart TV's, (one in each living area and one in each bedroom) all of which are also connected to Spectrum Cable with over 125 channels available. There is also convenient wireless high speed internet. There is also a DVD player available for the TV's in the main living areas.

Have fun on the lake and enjoy the sun with a large dock which has a perfect depth of appx 4 -7' to swim and float around in the lake and to navigate your boat. It is equipped with 2 ladders to access the lake and 2 boat slips (1 covered , 1 uncovered, no lifts). There is a convenient concrete boat ramp just two hundred feet away!

In addition to a paddle boat for the lake,2 kayaks and a paddle board, there is a pool table, board games and books in the main house, the garage has been converted into a large game room that hosts a ping pong table, foosball table, air hockey table, weight bench, treadmill, Bowflex machine, stationary bicycle, croquet set, badminton, horse shoes and more. The possibilities for relaxation and fun are endless!

Not only can you enjoy the activities on the lake and in the home but you can enjoy an early morning walk around this quiet, lovely neighborhood.

The grocery store is only 3.5 miles away by land and there are two waterfront restaurants available by water just a short distance away.

The kitchen is equipped with an abundance of appliances and cooking supplies including plates, glasses, cups, silverware, cooking utensils, Keurig and drip coffee machines, toaster oven, blender and much more. There is a starter supply of paper towels and toilet tissue available and there are kitchen towels, pillows and blankets in each room. Linens and Bath Towels are included but please bring your own outdoor / lake towels. There is a laundry room on the main level for your personal laundry needs.

There is a large gravel driveway and parking area that provides close and easy access to the house.

Enjoy our home with panoramic view of widest part of lake. You can relax either on the huge bilevel main deck behind house or on the roof deck of boat dock. We have 2 community boat ramps, as well as a pool, a playground, additional day slips for boat docking, and a club house within walking distance at the Wildwood community area (free for renters).

Our home is set up to accommodate families. It is designed for 6 adults and the rest kids. There are 3 bedrooms on the main floor. The master bedroom has a king bed and large sitting area in front of windows with view of lake, and the master bath has a soaking tub and separate shower. The guest bedroom has a queen bed, and there are 2 twins in 3rd BR.

NO SMOKING please.

The bottom floor has a queen in one BR and 2 twin beds in another BR (perfect for kids). There is a large game room on the bottom floor with fun bamboo tiki bar, table tennis, foosball, and a game table. Also on the bottom floor is a large media room with 58 inch flat screen smart HDTV. The house is ideally set up for 2 or 3 adult couples and the rest kids but no more than 10 total persons at any time.

Sandy beach area with 4 kayaks and 3 paddleboards provided. Make family memories while paddling, boating, wakeboarding, skiing, and swimming in the lake right behind the house. See incredible sunsets while grilling out.

We can accommodate 1 boat in covered boathouse and tie off to cleats, no boat lift.
Only 1 boat allowed - this includes jet skis. The covered boat slip is 9 feet wide and 23 feet long . No large boats.
We share a double boathouse with our neighbor and our half is the left hand side with private boat slip and upper deck.
We do not allow jumping off of top of dock for safety reasons.

Great central location on lake just around Wildwood Point from Lizard Creek. Near Goat Island (must do boat stop), Pea Hill Creek, Stonehouse Creek, and the Eaton Ferry Bridge.

Located in northeast quadrant so area conveniences within 1 mile include Food Lion, gas station, pharmacy, movie rental, restaurants, Ace Hardware, Dollar Store, NAPA auto, boat store, ABC, and drive through ice vending machine. There is a new jet ski rental business at entrance to neighborhood.

Nearby are churches, a plant nursery, golf course, mini golf, Farmers Market, and flea market. Our house is a good base for a visit to Rosemont of Virginia Vineyards and Winery.

The house is directly across the lake from Stonehouse Timber Lodge Marina with ethanol free gas, boat rentals, and bait. It is a short boat or car ride to the Pointe Restaurant and Morningstar marina with docking, gazebo, boat rentals, and live music and the Waterview Restaurant (both with docking facilities).

The house has monday garbage pick-up with 2 trash bins. We also have spectrum cable bundle high speed wifi, tv, and landline phone. We have county water supply, so no smelly well water.

New to rental market in 2015; we are consistently upgrading and adding features.

The house has a joyful feeling of being in the country away from it all with all the conveniences and luxuries of modern living: wifi, trash pickup, city water, cable tv, community pool (in season Memorial to Labor Day).

We are renting on a weekly basis from Sunday to Sunday. Check in time is 1600.
Dogs are welcome with a non-refundable pet fee of $125.00 per dog. Please provide details about dog(s) to owners.
2 dog limit unless alternate arrangement made with owners. No cats please.
Dogs must have up to date vaccinations and current flea treatments and be acceptable to us the owners and renters must clean up after their dog.

This is our second home and we have set it up nicely. We are looking for renters who will treat this like their own home and take care of it; we in turn will provide the opportunity for a great wholesome family lake experience. This is not a fishing cabin or a fraternity type house or party type house. There is no parking on upper lawn due to septic drain field.
Due to neighbors there should be no loud outdoor noise after 10 pm.

When inquiring about a rental please provide information about intention to bring a dog (1 or 2) and descriptions, and boat type and size of boat, and number of adults and children.

For 2021 we are renting friday to friday during the summer due to housekeeping.

Our goal is to do everything we can to ensure that every guest who stays at our home has a wonderful experience. We approach this by asking ourselves if we were renting a house for our vacation what would we want?

1) CLEANLINESS
Providing a clean house with clean furnishings is our top priority. We want our guests to feel comfortable and relaxed in our house, so we make every effort to make sure the property is clean and neat prior to your arrival.

2) BEDDING, LINENS & TOWELS PROVIDED
With beds and mattresses being varying sizes, bringing your own sheets to another property and hoping it fits is not the start we would want for our vacation. Plus, who wants to start off their vacation making beds? We provide clean linens, including sheets, double pillow cases, duvet covers & blankets that are all washed between each reservation. This is a value added service that we feel many of our guests appreciate.

All permanent beds are made prior to your arrival with sheets, pillow cases and duvet covers. We will also make the temporary beds upon your request. Towels for both bathing and outdoor activities are also provided.

3) HOUSEHOLD ITEMS
One of the perks of staying at a house versus a hotel during your vacation is having the “at home” atmosphere and the convenience of home. We do our best to provide cooking tools, small appliances & items to make meal preparation easy so you don't have to pack your house to go on vacation!

We offer special items such as:
- Espresso machine to make cappuccinos and lattes
- Pizza stones to cook your pizza in the oven or on the grill
- Large 60 quarts seafood boil pot with strainer
- Outdoor grill, griddle and burners

We also provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, lotion, laundry/dish washing detergent and dryer sheets.

4) TRASH PICKUP
One of the conveniences we offer at our property is trash pick so no need to take your trash to the dump!

This 3 Bedroom 2 bath home is a split floor plan with the master bedroom on one side & 2 bedrooms & sunroom on the other.

BEDROOM 1-
The master bedroom has a king size bed and a full size futon that can be converted to additional sleeping space.

BEDROOM 2-
The second bedroom has a queen size bed

BEDROOM 3-
The third bedroom has a queen size bed with an optional twin size bed set up. The twin bed can be stowed away for more space.

SUN ROOM / 4th BEDROOM-
The sun room is a flex room that can be used as a sitting room, office or be converted to a 4th bedroom. There is a queen size sleeper sofa & a 10ft daybed.

LIVING ROOM-
An inflatable queen size mattress is also available and can be set up in this large space.

Shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, body lotion & hair dryer are in bathrooms.
BATHROOM 1-
Newly remodeled bath with single sink vanity & walk in shower. Located in hall adjacent to 2 bedrooms.

*** OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE ***
Outdoor living is what it's all about at the lake! 1000sf of outdoor living space attached to the house allows everyone to spread out while enjoying views of the lake. Enjoy a cup of coffee or breakfast on the covered porch or deck! There’s also a space for conversational seating and a gas firepit table. The whole family can take a break from the water but still enjoy the outdoors in the large screened in patio. Relax and watch TV, take a break for lunch, or play a little ping pong in this large outdoor living area.

*** OUTDOOR FUN ***
For the more active individuals, play some corn hole, volleyball or badminton, or paddle down the creek on the kayak or paddleboard! There are 2 single kayaks, 1 tandem (double) kayak, and 2 standup paddle boards. For some relaxation on the water, lounge in the comfy floats or sun bath on the large 6'x18' floating water mat. Gather around the firepit at night to roast some marshmallow. (Long skewers are available.)

*** WATER SKIING, TUBING & WATER SPORTS ***
The property is located on a long, very wide creek that is ideal for water sports. Calmer water than the main lake, Hubquarter Creek is a haven for the water skiers & wake boarders. Relax on the dock as watch your water sport enthusiast go by! For those who prefer to enjoy the water at a slower pace, the perfect time to take the kayak or paddle board out on the lake is early in the morning or evening.

*** BOAT DOCK ***
The large dock is partially covered. It has a ceiling fan, stereo system and plenty of seating. Pair your smart device to the stereo system and play your music play list as you hang out on the dock. The boat lift will be occupied, but there is plenty of space along the dock with a 4 point tie up to secure another boat. 1 jet ski lift can be available for use upon request. The boat house is equipped with life jackets, fishing rods, floats & a refrigerator.

The water depth at the bulkhead is approximately 1.5-2 feet and is great for the little ones to wade in. Water depth at the end of the dock is approximately 4-6 feet.

*** MARINA & BOAT LAUNCH ***
The marina is located around the bend on the main lake, just a short 5 minute ride on water. Fuel up, grab a quick bite to eat, or listen to live music! Boat & jet ski rentals are also available.

There is a private neighborhood boat ramp at the end of our street which accommodates small to medium size boats & jet skis, but it may not accommodate all boat types. For some medium to larger boats, we recommend launching at the marina.

*** GROCERY, RETAIL & RESTAURANT ***
There are (2) Food Lion grocery stores located approximately 15-20 minutes from the property. One Food Lion is located in Norlina off of HWY 158. The other Food Lion is located in Littleton, across the bridge, near the Marina. This area offers other retail shops, restaurants, in additional to Ace Hardware, gas station & water sport rentals.

Enjoy lunch or dinner at Watersview Restaurant, located across the main lake and visible from the property, a short 5 min ride on water or a 20 min drive on land. Robinson's Ferry restaurant in Warrenton is another great place to dine.

*** BOOKING, MINIMUM STAY, CHECK IN/OUT ***
During the summer months, June-August, the minimum nights stay is 7. Check-out is 11am and check-in is at 4pm. Early check-in may be possible. Minimum stay during other months of the year is 3 nights. We *may* allow shorter minimum stay (4 nights) during the summer for booking. please inquire.

*** SAFETY, SECURITY & SURVEILLANCE ***
Please be mindful that the property located on a lake and the presence of animals, insects or creatures that may be dangerous is possible. Be aware of your surroundings and do not leave food outdoor. For our guest and property's security, cameras are present on the exterior front and back of property. To prevent the possibility of theft, please remove all valuables from your car.

- "This house is beautiful both inside and outside. The yard and deck for swimming and playing was phenomenal. Excellent place for children and very accommodating for adults!! We will be returning for years to come!" - "We had an amazing time at this property. The house was just as described. Each room was beautifully decorated and so well stocked. The kitchen had any and everything you could imagine. The living room furniture was very comfortable and accommodated everyone in our group for the EPIC Wii battles we had at night. The beds were extremely comfortable. Lanni made sure all necessary beds were made up for us upon arrival so everyone could just settle in. The bathrooms were clean and beautiful. They were well stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, and other necessities in case you forget! We spent most of our time outside. The deck was so inviting and a great spot for morning coffee or afternoon happy hour. The view of the lake was so calming. But...the dock was the place to be! Moms were sunbathing, dads were fishing, kids were swimming and no one was getting in each other's way! The fridge in the boat house was to stash drinks while on the dock. It was also very well stocked with floats, ropes, life jackets, and anything else you needed to enjoy the water. The dock furniture was so comfortable! Be careful with those bouncy chairs under the fan...they were responsible for MANY naps! We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Lanni was a wonderful and responsive host and truly made this a home away from home. Looking forward to our next vacation already!"

Our dock is equipped with a boat lift (6,000 lb capacity) which is available for use at your own risk. Additionally, we provide six (2 small 4 big with one being a double) kayaks for your enjoyment. The depth off our dock is over 6 feet and quickly deepens, making it suitable for diving and jumping from the dock itself; however, diving or jumping from the boathouse is not permitted.

Please note that while the boat lift cannot accommodate pontoon boats, they can be securely tied up to the dock. For added convenience, there is a private boat ramp within our neighborhood, approximately one mile from the property, which is available for your use as our guest. Further details regarding the ramp and other amenities will be provided in your reservation packet after booking.

Situated on just over an acre of land, our property also provides ample space to securely store your trailer during your stay, whether for a weekend or a full week.

The landscaping is currently a work in progress. While the path leading to the water and dock has been extended, ongoing water erosion has necessitated its reconstruction using cement for durability. Portions of the walkway remain incomplete, and we plan to finalize the work during periods when the property is unoccupied.

We provide both a propane grill and a propane smoker for your use during your stay, with the propane cost covered by us. In the event the tank is empty upon your arrival or runs out during your stay, we will gladly reimburse you for swapping the tank. Simply send us a copy of the receipt, and we will process the reimbursement via Venmo.

The neighborhood has very strict rules regarding noise in place. Please kindly respect our neighbors. We have zero tolerance for noise or disturbances. Quiet hours are strictly enforced.

Pet policy:
We welcome dogs only, with a few guidelines to ensure a pleasant stay for all. Pets must be at least 6 months old and pre-approved, accompanied by a $150 non-refundable cleaning fee per booking.

Dogs are allowed on furniture (sofas, couches, beds, etc.), but protective sheets must be used to maintain cleanliness. Pet supplies, including blankets, sheets, and towels, are conveniently located in a designated area in the garage. These items must be washed and returned prior to check out.

We kindly ask that you clean up after your pets and note that you will be responsible for any damages or additional cleaning required. A maximum of two pets is allowed, with additional pets requiring prior approval from the host along with an extra pet fee (discretion of host).

Other information:
Violation of house rules including but not limited to any illicit activities may result in immediate forfeiture of the property with additional fines.

Although the house is older, the kitchen was remodeled in 2021,bathroom updated in 2023, upstairs freshly painted, powder room redecorated in 2024, and carpets, draperies, etc. added very recently. You'll enjoy a large, covered porch with water view, new TV's in both family room and owner bedroom, and family board games added for the occasional rainy days. We also offer corn hole, for family fun.
The home is situated on a heavily wooded lot ,so a hardpack walkway to the water has been added for comfort.
Child gates are installed at top of spiral stairs, and home sanitized according to CDC suggestions.
A book of nearby attractions, restaurants, and safety suggestions is available.

Located on a 1-acre point lot overlooking the Main Lake, you'll have plenty of space for outdoor games when you need a break from the water. The newly rebuilt double boathouse is open for your boat or jet skis, and the dock includes a sundeck and outdoor table. Water Toys: We provide 5 kayaks, a canoe, and 2+ paddleboards for your use at your own risk. Bring your life vests, though we have various sizes available at the house. There's a wide cove to explore and a safe spot for swimming, with water 4-5 feet deep off the dock. Kids might like water shoes since they can touch the bottom.

Off the Water: Enjoy your time on and off the water with evening options like yard games, BBQ with our charcoal grill, chilling by a fire pit in Adirondack chairs, gourmet kitchen supplies, TVs in all rooms, a huge selection of DVDs, XBOX 360, Air Hockey, Ping Pong, Basketball, biking, and more. There's also an outdoor basketball hoop if you want to grab a ball.

Boat Lift Information:
Two aluminum ladders to enter and exit the water. One ladder has gradual stairs with handles to help the grandparent's knees. The jet ski lift will accommodate two jet skis. We have another open bay with no lift. The experts recommended that another boat be stored and tied inside the open bay. Please drop the bumpers from your boat onto sides and tie your boat to the four posts for stability. You can also tie boats to the dock in couple spots.

Use of dock and lift is at your own risk.

The house is located in a great neighborhood at the end of a culdesac. The neighborhood is called Tangle Oaks. We have a quiet private drive with plenty of parking space.

Linens: Linens (Kitchen and Bathroom Towels, All Sheets, Pillows and Extra Bedding) are available for an additional fee of $100. Please bring your own beach towels.

Pets: We are pet friendly and still considering whether to accept all pets. Pets need to be approved and are subject to an additional fee of $250.

Firewood: Let us know if you want us to have wood delivered for use during your stay. Otherwise, please bring some. You will love to have the fire pit going at night.

Boat Rentals: We have a relationship with a few local options to rent boats. Please let us know who to introduce you to...

Biking/Running: I recommend that you leave our neighborhood and run or bike to the left. The kids love checking out the farms with cows and horses. There are a few great neighborhoods at the end of the street that are quiet and perfect for a run or bike ride.

Welcome to our one-of-a-kind getaway on Lake Gaston! Our home is located on the main channel of the lake near Pretty Creek in a quaint and quiet community perfect for a serene morning or evening walk. The house is a few lots from the local marina making getting gas easy and convenient. In addition, our home is just minutes from local restaurants, boat rentals, Food Lion, mini-golf, ice cream, coffee shops, hiking trails and so much more. Our home also boasts a large gravel driveway with a roundabout for easy and roomy parking.

Have fun on the lake and enjoy the sun and breathtaking views on our dock which has a depth of 6' to swim and float around. Our dock is equipped with one ladder and one set of stairs for easy access to the lake. The dock includes an outdoor shower, storage room STOCKED with 3 kayaks, lake toys including large inflatables, floating mat, hammocks, water guns, pool noodles, footballs, etc as well as lifejackets for your convenience. You can also safely stow your boats and PWC on the right side of the dock or anchor them next to our bulkhead. There is a FREE boat ramp only an 8-10 minute drive from the house located at Salmon's Landing.

Our home offers the most incredible views on the entire lake with a visibility upwards of 4 miles making it easy to see the passing cars on Eaton's Ferry bridge from the comfort of our sunroom, kitchen, and dock. Along with the view are multiple amenities which INCLUDE a large fire pit, gas & charcoal grill & smoker, pool table, spike ball, spacious dock, multiple smart 4k TVs, lake toys, board games, and all the kitchen appliances you could possibly need.

The kitchen is loaded with an abundance of appliances including a large double oven and all of your culinary needs which include a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, toaster, blender, ice maker, plates, bowls, glasses, cups, silverware, cooking supplies, utensils, and more! When you arrive all of your beds will be neatly made courtesy of our LINEN SERVICE.

Lake Gaston is well-known for its great fishing with more than 30 species of fish including large-mouth bass, striped bass, catfish, crappie and bluegill.

Due to allergies, no pets are allowed and NO SMOKING is allowed inside the home. No disruptive gatherings. Home is equipped with Nest smoke/CO2, security cameras, and a ring doorbell. Cameras are outward facing only monitoring the driveway and the owners boat.

All 3 bedrooms are equipped with a smart TV. The kitchen is open to the dining and great room which has cathedral ceilings, an amazing lake view and a wide screen smart TV. There are several ceiling fans inside and out. The laundry room has a long counter and cabinets for storing groceries. There is a picnic table and charcoal grill perfect for your outdoor barbecues! The boathouse has a covered area great for relaxing or enjoy the open area for sunning. The water depth is about 6 to 7 feet. There is a 2nd refrigerator in the boat house for your use. Renter may dock their boat on either side of the boat house or use the boat lifts at your own risk (2800 pounds is max weight on boat lift). Owner is not responsible for any damage to tenants watercraft.

This property is not baby/toddler proofed in any way, so be cautious with very young children. A ring camera for safety is located at the front door - no other cameras are on this property.

The pool offered a great way to cool off during the afternoons and the dock was great for fishing and swimming. There was tons of space for everyone in the family and the locking back deck doors were great to keep our adventurous toddler safe. We rented a boat and jetski from a nearby business and the dock had excellent tie offs for both. The fire pit was a big hit and offered a perfect view of the lake at sunset. Valerie was a great host and was extremely responsive throughout our stay. We're already planning our return trip and will be counting the days until our next stay!"

- "We've rented this place several times and have never left unimpressed. It feels like the owner has worked hard to anticipate guest needs and gone above and beyond. Plenty of parking, close to shopping and restaurants, well equipped house, gorgeous boat dock with great views and amazing water access, plenty of water toys like kayaks and paddle board, great kitchen and grill and plenty of outdoor deck seating. Even the small amenities like cooking spices and tiny toiletries are here. If you have a bad time at this rental you probably had bad weather or a bad attitude. I've rented a plethora of VRBO offerings and this one I've repeatedly come back to with anticipation. Book it!"

There are partial weeks available according to calendar. We have a no pet policy. Come visit beautiful Lake Gaston. We are located in northern NC & southern VA with 350 miles of shoreline and the main lake is 35 miles long. Our wonderful, 2-story A-frame is located on the water in a large cove with a main lake view.

On the main level is the master bedroom with a king size bed. The second bedroom has a king size bed. Two full bathrooms are on the main level... one off the hall, one off the master. The front room facing the lake includes a large kitchen/den which is the total width of the house. This is a well stocked kitchen with a large table so that you can enjoy the view as you enjoy your meal.

The basement is two bedrooms. The first bedroom has 2 queens and the second bedroom has a king size bed. A washer and dryer are located in the basement. The basement is entirely ceramic tile.

Large windows are a focal point of the house and give great views of the lake.

Outside, the upper covered deck is equipped with tables and plenty of seating when grilling out on the gas grill while viewing the wide open view of the lake. The outdoor fire pit is perfect for family marshmallow roasting and story telling. The dock includes an upper sun deck and large main deck. There is tie up space for a boat on the side of the dock. We also have electrical outlets on the dock. A neighborhood launch is located about 3/4 mile away. The water depth at the end of the dock is about 8 feet.
