This charming cabin located in the unique "Soldier Creek" neighborhood of Lake Texoma is the perfect place for a weekend get-a-way for lake fun whether you have your own water craft, rent one, or don’t plan to go out on the water! Smack dab in the middle of lake Texoma’s north shoreline and between Oklahoma’s two biggest Casinos; you’ll have it all.

The space:
The layout is like a Horseshoe. The front of the house has the Galley kitchen, dining space, Laundry room and 3rd bath, 2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed/room) with a Jack and Jill between them and front living room w/TV. There's a short hallway leading to the back of the house which has the bunk room off that hallway (Daybed as twin w/trundle OR can become a King bed), including air hockey, TV, several game options, and an adjustable height desk to work from home if needed.
The end of the Hallway has the 2nd large living room with the 70" wall mounted TV. Just off the living space is an open poker room, a 12 X 12 outdoor deck with grill, and the secluded Master Bedroom w/4th TV & separate bath.

Guest access:
You will have access to the entire house, EXcluding the master bedroom closet. Extra cleaning supplies, if needed, can be found in the laundry room, located in the front of the house next to the kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked with most pots, pans, utensils, and a microwave. We also provide a Keurig coffee maker with 3 different choices of flavored cups and Torani syrups. You’ll be able to enjoy your perfect cup on the private back deck looking into the core land where deer, fox, variety of birds and other nature can be enjoyed. YouTube TV complimentary.

Other things to note:
The bunk room has a a standard Twin bunkbed and a daybed w/trundle OR can convert to a King sized bed. It's also where the indoor and outdoor games are kept: Corn Hole/Bag Toss, Bocci Ball, Outdoor ladders, board games, cards and card games, and an Air Hockey table.

Ample parking on the gravel drive way. Please avoid driving/parking on the grass, especially after rain, you may get stuck.

Neighborhood highlights:
Known as "The Creek", Soldier Creek and Caney Creek are a unique community. Caney Creek resort has a neighborhood mini-mart with basic pick ups for a lake outing; beer, soda, ice, hats, sunscreen, etc, and a small grill offering burgers, fries, fountain drinks. There’s also a neighborhood bar, Caney Creek Beer Garden, with music most nights; live bands or DJ and pool table available. ********Marina Del Ray********marina and restaurant is CLOSED indefinitely. However the boat launch around the corner from the property is open.

You'll find the The Creek to be quiet but social. It's a great place to meet new people and make great memories.

Most people own and/or use side-by-sides or golf carts. Golf carts can be rented from Classic Cart Rentals in the neighborhood. They have themed carts. Our favorite is Willie, as in Nelson. Comes with tie dye paint and braided hemp😊

Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on Lake Texoma in Soldier Creek (Marina Del Ray) area. We are 10 minutes away from Chickasaw Point Golf Course and a walk away from Marina Del Ray . Our home was built in the1950’s and will sleep 8 comfortably. The house is adjoining to Corp of Engineer’s property, fenced in back yard with a small lake view. The front and back porches have lots of entertaining space. It is fully furnished with 2 queen beds and 1 full size bed. A fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer for your use and a storm cellar for your safety. Bring stuff for S' mores to cook on our fire pit! We also have a golf cart to rent. If you’re coming to a concert, playing golf, fishing, or playing on the water, you will enjoy your stay at C Street Cabin.

Most don't watch TV but we do have some there, there is just no cable (doesn't work well in our area), they are SMART TV's. :)

You couldn't ask for a more peaceful location near Lake Texoma. Get ready to enjoy your stay. The white sand beach is a 5 minute walk following the trail. Our property was made for enjoying a quiet lake stay with spectacular views. Come enjoy getting out of the city and swim, fish, and boat with family and friends.

The nearest grocery store is Brookshire's about 15 minutes away in Pottsboro, TX. There are a variety of small town USA restaurants near. Don't feel like making breakfast? Enjoy the small town USA feeling of Mom's Cafe. Don't feel like cooking after a day at the lake? Enjoy Napoli's Pizza or Bay at the Lake just down the road. Special Property Information: Due to the close proximity of the lake, there is an unidentified type of gnat located in this area. Fortunately, they do not bite and are harmless, but they can be a nuisance when there is a large amount of them. We have had a pest inspector out to the property but there is no known insecticide that can be sprayed to deter or eliminate them. They are attracted to moisture and light, so at night they are drawn to the house when the indoor and outdoor lights are on. For this reason, we advise not leaving the outdoor porch or patio lights on unnecessarily and closing the blinds in the living, kitchen, and bedroom to help prevent them from getting into the house.
