This charming cabin located in the unique "Soldier Creek" neighborhood of Lake Texoma is the perfect place for a weekend get-a-way for lake fun whether you have your own water craft, rent one, or don’t plan to go out on the water! Smack dab in the middle of lake Texoma’s north shoreline and between Oklahoma’s two biggest Casinos; you’ll have it all.

The space:
The layout is like a Horseshoe. The front of the house has the Galley kitchen, dining space, Laundry room and 3rd bath, 2 bedrooms (1 Queen bed/room) with a Jack and Jill between them and front living room w/TV. There's a short hallway leading to the back of the house which has the bunk room off that hallway (Daybed as twin w/trundle OR can become a King bed), including air hockey, TV, several game options, and an adjustable height desk to work from home if needed.
The end of the Hallway has the 2nd large living room with the 70" wall mounted TV. Just off the living space is an open poker room, a 12 X 12 outdoor deck with grill, and the secluded Master Bedroom w/4th TV & separate bath.

Guest access:
You will have access to the entire house, EXcluding the master bedroom closet. Extra cleaning supplies, if needed, can be found in the laundry room, located in the front of the house next to the kitchen. Kitchen is fully stocked with most pots, pans, utensils, and a microwave. We also provide a Keurig coffee maker with 3 different choices of flavored cups and Torani syrups. You’ll be able to enjoy your perfect cup on the private back deck looking into the core land where deer, fox, variety of birds and other nature can be enjoyed. YouTube TV complimentary.

Other things to note:
The bunk room has a a standard Twin bunkbed and a daybed w/trundle OR can convert to a King sized bed. It's also where the indoor and outdoor games are kept: Corn Hole/Bag Toss, Bocci Ball, Outdoor ladders, board games, cards and card games, and an Air Hockey table.

Ample parking on the gravel drive way. Please avoid driving/parking on the grass, especially after rain, you may get stuck.

Neighborhood highlights:
Known as "The Creek", Soldier Creek and Caney Creek are a unique community. Caney Creek resort has a neighborhood mini-mart with basic pick ups for a lake outing; beer, soda, ice, hats, sunscreen, etc, and a small grill offering burgers, fries, fountain drinks. There’s also a neighborhood bar, Caney Creek Beer Garden, with music most nights; live bands or DJ and pool table available. ********Marina Del Ray********marina and restaurant is CLOSED indefinitely. However the boat launch around the corner from the property is open.

You'll find the The Creek to be quiet but social. It's a great place to meet new people and make great memories.

Most people own and/or use side-by-sides or golf carts. Golf carts can be rented from Classic Cart Rentals in the neighborhood. They have themed carts. Our favorite is Willie, as in Nelson. Comes with tie dye paint and braided hemp😊

Our home is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath home on Lake Texoma in Soldier Creek (Marina Del Ray) area. We are 10 minutes away from Chickasaw Point Golf Course and a walk away from Marina Del Ray . Our home was built in the1950’s and will sleep 8 comfortably. The house is adjoining to Corp of Engineer’s property, fenced in back yard with a small lake view. The front and back porches have lots of entertaining space. It is fully furnished with 2 queen beds and 1 full size bed. A fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer for your use and a storm cellar for your safety. Bring stuff for S' mores to cook on our fire pit! We also have a golf cart to rent. If you’re coming to a concert, playing golf, fishing, or playing on the water, you will enjoy your stay at C Street Cabin.

Or head up onto the deck and enjoy the water views! The beautiful beach of Taylor's Island is around the corner. Most don't watch TV but we do have some there, there is just no cable (doesn't work well in our area), they are SMART TV's. :)

Our property was made for enjoying a quiet lake stay with spectacular views. Come enjoy getting out of the city and swim, fish, and boat with family and friends.

The nearest grocery store is Brookshire's about 15 minutes away in Pottsboro, TX. There are a variety of small town USA restaurants near. Don't feel like making breakfast? Enjoy the small town USA feeling of Mom's Cafe. Don't feel like cooking after a day at the lake? Enjoy Napoli's Pizza or Bay at the Lake just down the road. Don't worry; we e-mail you all the details you need before arrival.

Special Property Information: Due to the close proximity of the lake, there is an unidentified type of gnat located in this area. Fortunately, they do not bite and are harmless, but they can be a nuisance when there is a large amount of them. We have had a pest inspector out to the property but there is no known insecticide that can be sprayed to deter or eliminate them. They are attracted to moisture and light, so at night they are drawn to the house when the indoor and outdoor lights are on. For this reason, we advise not leaving the outdoor porch or patio lights on unnecessarily and closing the blinds in the living, kitchen, and bedroom to help prevent them from getting into the house.

The house is nestled in a desirable peaceful Texoma neighborhood right on the lake. The lawn down to the shoreline is hilly and uneven in some areas due to natural erosion, be aware of tripping hazards when walking. If engaging in water activities, please come prepared with appropriate safety gear and swim with caution. Swim at your own risk and watch children closely.

Lake access is on Army Corp of Engineers Land, please be respectful of the natural landscape and protect the area during your stay.

Overall the property was very spacious and comfortable and had a very spacious comfortable patio overlooking the pond."

This beautiful lake house is the perfect place for your family vacation or a get together with friends. Located on the end of the peninsula on scenic Lake Texoma, we are a little over an hour from the DFW area. Within 2 miles of several marinas to launch your boat. Walk to the shores of Lake Texoma in one of the few neighborhoods with public lake access. Since we are on the peninsula, a short walk gives you panoramic views of the beautiful lake for a perfect sunrise or sunset stroll.

The home is a spacious 4-bedroom 2 ½ bath home with a well equipped kitchen, game room, and large bedrooms. Downstairs includes the game room with bumper pool, foosball and shuffleboard along with games, a big screen TV, and bar height seating so you don’t miss the action. The kitchen is ready for your cooking pleasure with complimentary spices, and utensils as well as a coffee bar that includes k-cups, drip coffee, and tea. The coffee bar includes a starter pack of sugars, creamer and a variety of flavors.The upstairs living area boasts a wet bar, comfy swing chair, big screen TV and an extra large sectional couch with balcony access. All bedrooms are upstairs. The oversized master suite is fit for royalty. *We have 2 grills one is propane and the other is charcoal for you to have a fish fry with all those fish you catch! These are shared by the house next-door that we rent out as well.

*The parking is in the driveway in front of the barn and it is also free.

*We also have corn hole in the case by the side door for outdoor play.

*We do accept up to 2 dogs for a $100 pet fee per stay. Dogs must be on a leash when outside and if left behind they must be in a kennel. There is plenty of parking for vehicles and boat trailers in front of the Barn. Please don't park in front of the house as that is for the guests staying there to park.

*You’ll also have access to the fire pit in the back yard which has just been updated. (You will need to bring your own firewood).

*Looking for a marina there is Preston Bend Park, Lighthouse Marina is very close about 1/2 a mile and Little Mineral Marina just a mile or so away. There are many guided tours in the area for fishing as well as dinner cruises nearby. Just a short drive to numerous liquor stores, grocery stores and restaurants.

Island View Park: Is less than a 1/4 mile away!
Island View Park is one of the most popular day use parks at Lake Texoma. Visitors can buy day passes, make reservations, rent kayaks, and reserve shelters online. It is open from 9 a.m. to sunset, which is different in every season. Visitors can take guided kayak tours or a beach picnic boat trip from Island View. They can host corporate events, family reunions, weddings, and more with Island View’s event planners at its event spaces. There is a pool at Tanglewood resorts down the road on 289. Tanglewood also has a golf course for those golfers.

This beautiful lake house accommodates 8 people in 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom is fitted with a queen bed. Bedroom 2 has a set of bunk beds with full sized mattresses. Bedroom 3 has two twin size beds. Each bedroom has extra sheets in the closets, just in case you need them. There are also fans in each closet, so you don't need to bring a fan with you. There are extra blankets in the master closet.

There are two full bathrooms in this home, each is stocked with all the essentials you will need during your stay. The master bathroom is also stocked with individually wrapped toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors, ibuprofen, and antacid tablets.

The 2nd bathroom is located inside the shop.

⁕⁕KITCHEN & LIVING ROOM⁕⁕

The kitchen is fully equipped with all the appliances, utensils, and cookware that you would need to feel right at home. There are other cooking supplies in the pantry, such as, coffee, coffee filters, salt & pepper, cooking spray, and sugar.

The living room is fitted with 2 couches and a recliner. There is an HDTV with a Roku entertainment system. There are board games located in the coffee table for your enjoyment, as well.

⁕⁕OUTSIDE SPACE⁕⁕

The exterior of the home boasts two amazing seating areas, one on the large front porch, and one in the backyard around the firepit.

The front porch is the perfect place to sit in the morning and drink your coffee or anytime to just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of lake life. There is also a one person swing on the front porch for relaxation.

The back yard is fully fenced for your much welcomed 4 legged travel companions. There are Adirondack chairs to relax, along with a hammock hung between the trees. New this spring, we added a hot tub and deck to the backyard. There is an outdoor faucet to wash the beach sand off and to rinse off your beach supplies.

To avoid most of the dirt road, take an alternate route via Oakview Road, then turn left onto Madill Rd, followed by another left onto Chickasaw Road. A Shore Thing will be located on your right.

AROCK Cabin. 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bath a stone's throw from beautiful Lake Texoma. A short walk to the lake and your private secure boat slip with full service. Several boat ramps are just around the cove. Capable of sleeping 11 guests with two king beds, one queen bed, and five twin beds. Commercial kitchen to complete any stay. My amenities surpass many and I greet my guests with a small meal upon arrival. Please note: a detailed list is in the provided handbook for departure. Failure to complete will be an assessment of $25.00.
