- "We have just returned from a fabulous 2 week holiday at Byron Bellavista! The hotel is the next to last at the much quieter end of the Lido. On arrival we were allocated a very small room with a tiny bathroom and shower. We contacted reception who kindly moved us to another room, which was far better. They even moved our baggage for us. The service in the restaurant is second to none! Cristina, Raphaella and their team are exceptional! I would say worthy of 5* and can’t thank them all enough for making our holiday extra special! The food was equally amazing! A wide range of dishes to chose from each evening, all cooked superbly, with a ‘treat from the chef’ each evening too! The breakfast menu had everything you could wish for and a special mention to the chef who made us the most delicious omelettes each morning! The reception staff are fabulous - and will do all they can to assist. Nothing was too much trouble! We would love to return in the very near future and just hope that some of the existing staff are there in our return! The free bike hire was brilliant, although some of the bikes are in need of a service, if not replacement. But still a great way to get around!"

We mentioned her allergies on the first morning and after that, the minute we walked into the dining room, a waiter appeared with her ‘special’ food. The receptionists provided maps, information and answered any questions we had. We were a family of 3 and when we went to our room there were only 2 chairs on the balcony and a cupboard door hinge was broken. We reported this on our way out and by the time we came back they had been dealt with. The barman was excellent and even bought us a bottle of prosecco and a beer on our last night. It is next to the beach, handy for bars, restaurants and buses. Although we were in the centre of everything, we never heard any noise once we closed our balcony doors. When we got chatting to other people staying in the hotel, a lot of them said it was their second, third and sometimes fourth time in the hotel. I think this tells you all you need to know. We would definitely recommend it to anyone. "

- "We arrived to be greeted by Laura on reception, who was extremely friendly and helpful. In fact, ALL the staff were amazing and friendly and made our stay very enjoyable. We were given a sea view room with interconnecting door to another room, PERFECT! We had a couple of evening storms so ate our evening meals in the hotel. Its the usual buffet fare but with a fresh cooked pasta/risotto station which was lovely. Breakfast was great. Lots to choose from with eggs cooked to order. The rooms were very clean with Sat TV and WiFi. Great beach location with beach sun loungers reserved for you. Would highly recommend this hotel."
