- "Stunning quiet rural location, lovely views. We were a party of 4 so loads of space. Very comfortable cottage and a very helpful caretaker. Our only issues were that some of the kitchen equipment is showing signs of age and we did need to use the immersion heater to ensure supply of hot water - but this worked perfectly well and the showers were absolutely fine. We would definitely return. In view of Covid, we ate in the cottage and did not really use the local amenities so cannot comment. We did however go on some spectacular walks (despite the rain!). The host was very welcoming and helpful and even gave the children creme eggs and left us some homemade honey on arrival. Would 100% recommend this place."
