Close to the beach but if not wanting to go too far there’s a cool, clean and inviting pool on site complete with shaded lounge chairs and soft grass. Rooms are cleaned daily and done very well. Breakfasts are great and very filling. Especially love their fruit salad and yoghurt! Never left breakfast wishing I had more. For the more active, there is a lovely walk/hike into the national park from here - get a map and bring along water. Lunch and dinner are available at hotel but there are also other cafes and restaurants within a short walk towards town. La Brena has a restaurant that specialises in tuna but also has other items on their menu - all very well prepared and delicious. This is our second visit and we have not regretted coming back - we are looking forward to our next visit. Wonderful hostess Cristina and her adorable son, Noah, might be there to help you."

The garden is very special.and one of the highlights of staying at Casa Margareta. It has been imaginatively landscaped with different sized pebbles, wooden posts and Mediterranean architectural planting. A large palm tree is the focus in one corner, leading the eye down towards the sea in the distance. All the neighbouring houses have large,rural gardens too, and so do not impinge on each other in any way. The surroundings are very green at all times of year , the pine forest always an inspiration, the bird and animal life always vital ( including cows with tinkling bells, allowed to roam the forest in the winter), and the light of the Costa de la Luz always happily reminding us of where we are - somewhere very exceptional.

However, there was no clothes line or clothes horse available to dry clothes. You should be aware that the wc facilities are incapable of dealing with toilet paper. There is no bin collection service so you will have to bag and dispose of used toilet paper. The nearest bins are about 2km away. Take care when sitting on the garden furniture. The outside dining chairs were wooden and flimsy, and when my husband sat down on one for the first time, it collapsed under him damaging his back and neck. Overall it is the worst place we have ever stayed."

- "One is always a bit wary of on-line bookings - but this is just wonderful. The casita is brilliantly located just a few minutes from a lovely sandy beach … which goes on for miles and was never ever crowded during our stay. It is very well appointed with comfortable bed - and another one on the mezzanine level - a cooker, microwave, fridge, reliable wifi and TV (which we never used!). Emma was on hand to welcome us and to sort out any issues - she lives a few minutes away. Local restaurants and bars - we liked El Pirato and La Breña … but we also enjoyed the local area … Vejer de La Frontera is a beautiful inland white town, Conil on the coast, Cadiz, and Barbara (home of tuna fishing with a great fish and fruit market) … but you need a car to do those visits (we hired one at Seville Airport). Axel who owns the casita responds to emails quickly … it was a great place to stay … and is very private in lovely grounds. Certainly 5 stars from us! John and Maggie"

Uns gefällt es gut, das Viertel ist sehr sicher, der Weg zum Strand nur 5-10 Minuten zu Fuß und in El Palmar kann man super Surfen. In Los Canos gibt es einen kleinen Supermarkt und in Conil auch größere. Die Casa Poniente hat drei klimatisierte Schlafzimmer und den Garten mit Pool genießen wir sehr.
