- "What a spot! We splurged on the master suite for 1 night and it was well worth it. The view was spectacular, the room excellent, the restaurant top, top quality and the private pool divine. Manager Solomon was kind and courteous and helped make our stay memorable. Highly recommended for a special night or 2! Tips: we brought champagne but they only had plastic glasses because of the pool so maybe bring your own. There is a little tienda right at the foot of their driveway for budget water and snacks. "

- "We had an amazing time. The owner Lizzy is an absolute doll and made one heck of a getaway! We were blown away by the art, the adorable cats, and the easy check-in and check out. We even were able to shop for some souvenirs in the lobby which was nice considering we had a quick turnaround. She even gave us some really good recommendations for beaches and sunset spots, Lucy and Reina were helpful too! Shout out to Tribu tacos in town they kept us well fed and was a 5 min walk from the hotel. The AC worked like a champ. The murals were stunning and the living tree in the bathroom with a tiny open ceiling for it to grow thru was so charming and beautiful. Well done. Would def return. "

- "If you’re looking for a small, family run hotel right on the beach, you’re in luck! We were warmly welcomed by the very friendly manger of the hotel who had a special surprise for us in our room because I mentioned it was our 30th anniversary. Such a sweet touch! We fell asleep to the sound of the pounding waves, which was lovely. Breakfast in the morning is fruit with yogurt and muesli, coffee and for me Huevos Rancheros. The food was excellent, and although the service could be a little pokey at times, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Tips: As you face the beach, walk to the right to the Playa Bebe for tranquil swimming out of the surf. I would highly recommend this place for a small hotel experience. Their kitchen closes at 530pm, but there are plenty of excellent restaurants nearby! "

As someone that spends over 200 nights a year in chain hotels I must say that Everything was flawless and the hosts Javi and Nayo are simply the best, always helpful and gave great tips of the area , beaches , restaurants and felt like being with old friends. The house itself is a work or art, everything was extremely thoughtful and tastefully done. From the art displayed on the house and rooms to how the ecosystem and all plants were carefully placed in this house. I can't recommend enough and can't wait to have a chance to come back. Operation could be a bit better, limited menu at the restaurant." - "This hotel needs serious help! First I have to say the staff are incredible. Adriana went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy during the entirety of our stay, and all of the staff made such an effort to help us out at every turn. We were first shown to a room that was not what we booked- what we got was a room on the ground floor, filled with scorpions and hundreds of insects with absolutely no view at all. To make matters worse you anyone could just walk past the shower, you could not close it off. There was not even any soap in the bathrooms, you are not allowed to use hairdryers or any other hair styling implement due to the hotel not producing enough solar electricity, the WiFi didn’t work in the rooms, the toilet roll was simply put in the wardrobe, there was no way of contacting anyone from the room... the list is endless. There are no real pathways around the hotel, only dangerous unlit dirt tracks that I actually slipped down in my flip flops walking from the pool. To get out takes a 25 min hike, and there are no taxis at night to get back. The hike is totally dark and the hotel recommends you don’t walk, but if you do find a taxi they charge 150 mx at night. Since you can’t get out you have to eat hotel food but there is a very limited menu (5 items lunch & dinner is the same) and the quality really varies. The architecture is beautiful but it feels like the owners need a crash course in being hoteliers. We got a discount and still feel robbed."
