Though the photos on the listing are accurate, they don’t really capture the feeling of wonderment you have when you enter the home. At every turn, there was a feast for the eyes; we loved exploring inside and out. The garden, charmingly overgrown, featured many herbs, flowering plants, succulents, and fruit bearing trees. The pool was a necessity for our stay as it was very hot at the time of our travel. We enjoyed drinks in the garden and by the pool, evening dinners in the cool of the garden and morning coffee in the expansive courtyard. The children collected lemons and made lemonade that has never tasted so good. The location allowed for easy access to Trapani, Erice, the beautiful hilltop town overlooking the area, and to places further afield by car. Our hosts Giuseppe and Francesca and their children were warm, responsive and very helpful. They have deep knowledge and love of the area. - "Proper huis, met schaduwrijke terrassen en prachtig zicht op zee en leuk zwembad. De airconditioning in de slaapkamers werd zeer geapprecieerd. Restaurant pizzaria da Franco, in hetzelfde plaatsje, serveert uitstekend eten voor kleine prijsjes. In Valdrice zit een Deco supermarkt die in vanalles voorziet. Er zijn diverse leuke stranden o.a. in Scopello. Castellammare del Golfo mag je ook niet missen, levendig vissersplaatsje waar je motorbootje kunt huren of boottocht kunt maken en heerlijk in zee kunt zwemmen. In Erice kun je o.a. komen met een kabelbaan vanuit Trapani, heel leuk! Kortom , een heerlijk verblijf met zwembad en een omgeving waarin voldoende vermaak te vinden is!"

- "We enjoyed our stay in San Vito and at the villa. There was some miscommunication between us and the host Luigi, however he was very nice & reasonable host. The house, pool and garden are very well maintained and we loved spending time outside. The main beach is a little far ( 1.7kms from the house), there is however street parking available or alternatively a 20 minute walk. The house sleeps 6 comfortably as there are 3 bedrooms but 8-10 is a little crammed as the sofa bed is in the living room and there isn't much privacy due to the open dining/kitchen/living area setup. Our recommendations would be to have a welcome book advising guests of the garbage requirements, lights, pool cleaning or garden requirements etc ( as the host had to visit frequently during our 1 week stay) and some additional linen such as pillows, bedsheets & towels.
