This apartment is approximately 120m2. The entrance is through double French doors from the veranda to the large open plan contemporary kitchen with dining area, the lounge area has two large comfortable sofas which can convert to double beds and an efficient pellet stove for use in winter. There are many local beaches, all being less crowded than the beaches at Tropea & having soft sandy beach with crystal blue sea. The nearest beach is less than 1km away from the Villa and benefits from having quality beachside restaurants offering fresh home cooked cuisine with wonderful views over the bay, they are also open all year round. The beach has a raft of activities including scuba diving, snorkeling, pedalo and canoe boats, sunbed hire is also available but not compulsory. I repeat myself, but you just don't enough much time here. Not only in and around the house, but also the surroundings are beautiful and there is plenty to discover. For example the river below in the valley or the ruins you can see from the bedroom. And then last but not least, the owner. You will not easily find such a host, perhaps even unique. And we also have the sweet dog in our hearts. Especially Sam will miss his little friend. Massimiliano does everything for his guests. We again enjoyed all the bread and goodies (cupboards are never empty on arrival), conversations and the tips he gave us. No goodbye for us as we will be back very soon!"

The unit we rent is situated on the top floor and has an independent entrance through an external staircase. The ground floor is not to be rented.

During this period there are almost no tourists so we had the beach without anyone ))) It's a great location at first line of the seaside. Nice garden, pretty big terrace with sun loungers, clean rooms, all necessary stuff. As a negative: not so far there is a restaurant with karaoke so we had couple noisy evenings cause of there is a silence around and we were forced to listen some crazy songs. The apartment is located in Palazzo Toraldo d'Amore. Built in the 1700s and attributed to the school of the famous architect Vanvitelli, is considered one of the most beautiful buildings in the historic center of Tropea. On the vault at the entrance of the Palace there is an affresco with the family crest of the Toraldo’s.
The apartment, brand new and completely renovated, is equipped with all the comforts (A/C, TV, WIFI, oven, dishwasher, washing machine, autoclave and autonomous water tank) and is furnished with sober taste. The apartment consists of two large rooms with very high ceilings furnished with the philosophy of the loft: a large area used as a kitchen and dining room, a spacious living room, a bathroom and two sleeping areas on the mezzanine that allow you to share time spent indoors without creating enclosed spaces. The apartment has a total of five beds (one double bed and three single beds).

The center of Tropea is an architectural jewel, built on a circular cliff overlooking the sea (approx. 50 meters above sea level). Particularly fascinating is the round of buildings on the hills still there after several centuries. Several ancient staircases connect the historic center to the marina and allow you to reach the main beaches in a few minutes. To visit: the Norman Cathedral, the Diocesan Museum, the Church of Jesus, the Chapel of the Nobles, the Sanctuary of Santa Maria dell'Isola with the garden. Highly recommended: walk through the alleys and openings of the historic center to admire the noble palaces and majestic granite portals.
Upon arrival, guests can ask to take a tour of the historic center with me and learn about the history of this ancient city. Not to be missed: a boat trip from Tropea to Capo Vaticano to see live the beauty of the Costa degli Dei; dinner at the “da Cecè restaurant” in the charming square of Largo Toraldo Grimaldi; the food and wine tour on the Poro promontory to taste the excellent products such as' nduja, extra virgin olive oil, pecorino del Poro and cremolata. All this will be proposed to you upon arrival and you can freely choose which activity to book.
