We have a total of 78 acres on our property; the cottage is on top of a hill, with trees surrounding; nice yard area. You will not have main road noise or neighbors-great for families who have kids/pets who have never experienced just going outside to play and never having to worry about dangers near by like a road, etc. Also great for a romantic stay for a couple; very private, secluded, bring groceries and never have to leave if you do not want too!

We live on the property as well, but our home is not visible from the cottage.
We are very convenient to the towns of Cookeville, Algood, Gainesboro, Monterey, Sparta TN and surrounding area's.

3 miles from I-40 the main interstate, close to Cookeville TN and Tenn Tech University with many restaurants, shopping, etc. Very quiet and private cottage.

Nicely decorated and had everything our family needed (kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook and bake/bathrooms have plenty of towels and wash cloths). We stayed for almost a month and loved every minute. The property is gorgeous and private. Owners live on the property but, with all the acreage and trees, we felt completely separate. Lots of cleared space for kids to roam, great backyard fire pit for roasting marshmallows, beautiful screened in back patio for morning coffee. "Lazy Day's" is the third cabin on 35 private acres of property here in the small community of Muddy Pond. It was a priority to maintain seclusion for each cabin while finding a beautiful spot for building. Located in a hemlock ringed area with just a short walk out to a private gazebo set on a private pond. We believe you will fall in love with this beautiful, peaceful oasis where you can sit on the porch and do absolutely nothing without any guilt. If you enjoy fishing, then you'll appreciate the dock by the gazebo where you can fish for bass or bluegill.

The cabin is only built for 2 and is one open room except for a central fireplace and the private bathroom. It includes a king-size bed with a Jacuzzi beside it. The living room is cozy and you can bring videos to watch on a DVD or VHS player for the quiet evenings. The full back porch is supplied with rockers and a view that is beautiful.

Just a short walk over a little bridge leads to a gazebo out on the water where you can fish or sit in the porch swing.

This cabin is not equipped with any linens or cooking utensils. Guest must bring clean queen size sheets, bath linen and cooking utensils. If i had to make a suggestion it would be to improve lake access in front of the cabin if possible. You kinda sink in the mud when you get in but that might not be possible.
