Hickory Hideaway is a beautiful 4 bedroom 4 bath home situated in a quiet cove. Enjoy the scenic views out the screened in porch of the Tennessee park land across the cove. Our shoreline deck and private dock is easily accessible by a stairway. With room for family or friends, this home offers a private dock on the lake for all of your water sports activities, Only minutes by land or water from Tim's Ford Marina and Tim's Ford State Park and Jack Nicholas' designed Bear Trace golf course. We are just a short drive to either Winchester or Lynchburg.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances and granite counter tops. The living room has comfortable seating for 8+. The bedrooms feature 1 King sized bed and 2 Queen size beds and each bedroom has its own bathroom. There is a full size roll away bed and a queen size air-mattress available, which will allow for the guest count to reach 10. There is also a porta-crib provided. All linens and towels are provided.

Our walkout basement (4th bedroom) has been newly refinished to add an addition space to hang out and an addition bathroom with shower. This room is equipped with a 50" TV, queen size sleeper sofa, twin rollaway bed, refrigerator, Keurig and microwave. The finished basement has its own entrance and is not accessible from inside the house. This is great space to send the kids or anyone else wanting their own space.

There is ample seating in the screened in porch, including a swinging bed, along with deck seating around a gas fire pit and outdoor dining table with seating for 6.

There is a grill and electric smoker for your outdoor cooking needs.

We now offer the private rental of our 20ft pontoon boat. You can skip going to the marina to rent one, or the worry of one being available. Rental is available by the day or the stay. Message us for more details.

Golf Cart Is not available to rent December-February. Golf cart is an additional fee of $89 per night if you would like to use it.

Property has seasonal water. TVA will begin reducing water levels in November and will return to normal levels in Mid-March. During this time the dock will not be accessible with a boat.

This home is not a good fit if you are expecting to do a lot of partying. Our home is in a very quiet rural neighborhood that allows short term rentals but we want to respect our neighbors and our home. Also, a new luxury 6 person golf cart is available for rental to make going back and forth to the dock easy and fun! Our dock is toward the top of a cove so you get beautiful views of the main channel but you can also tie your boat off here since there is not much wake.
This beautiful lake home is in a very nice, quiet, and rural neighborhood so please be respectful to our neighbors and keep the noise down while outside especially after 10:00 or so. :) Also, 4 TOTAL vehicles are allowed in the driveway/garage. Please do not park in the grass or the road. Also, only one vehicle is allowed to parked at the cull de sac where the dock is located. With the lake, dock, stairs and hot tub, clearly, young children MUST BE CLOSELY SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES for their safety. We have a very friendly neighborhood with an active neighborhood watch. The HOA welcomes renters but bylaws do encourage them to notify owners of inappropriate behavior. Must be 25yrs of age to book the property

- "The house and property were very clean and spacious. Communication was fantastic. If we needed something they responded almost immediately. Plenty of towels, dishes and cookware. The dock was amazing with the slide, kayaks and paddle boards. The entire family enjoyed it. The only thing I would recommend would be some cleaners to wipe down surfaces especially after cooking. Other than that it was a fantastic vacation and I would definitely stay again."

In addition to the bunk beds pictured, there are two bedrooms downstairs, each with its own bathroom, then there's a bedroom upstairs with its own huge bathroom plus a half bath for everyone who's hanging out upstairs to use. I was able to log into my streaming accounts in the upstairs bedroom and they had a voice-activated device that played music we listened to all weekend. The dock pictured is about a half mile away (little less) and easy to get to. They provided a golf cart, but we walked. The area was peaceful and there was little (virtually no) traffic coming and going. The property manager was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. I definitely want to rent the house again."

Family friendly lakehouse on beautiful Tim’s Ford Lake. We are just down the street from the TVA boat ramp so feel free to bring your lake ride and tie it up at our dock. We have kayaks and paddle boards that your are welcome to use.

- "We had a fantastic stay. My party consisted of 7 adults and 4 children (ages 4-10). The accommodations were perfect. The beds were very comfortable. The bunk beds were full size with curtains which allowed the kids their own space and privacy. We spent hours on the screened porch enjoying the tranquility. Having the dock on site was ideal. The walk up and down may be difficult for some but overall not too bad. We jumped in from the dock and used the kayaks and paddle boards. We also enjoyed the location. Close to all the marinas and 20 minutes from groceries. We used the house as base and drove to Chattanooga and Nashville. Everything was ideal and would definitely stay again."

Our lake home is inside the highly sought after Ridgeville Subdivision and has plenty of room for your family! With 6 bedrooms and multiple beds in most rooms, you’re sure to be able to fit everyone! You’re welcome to dock your boat in the open bay of our new dock during your stay! You can even have a boat delivered right to our dock through one of the boat rental agencies on the lake. We recommend Boat Winchester or Tim's Ford Marina to rent boats. We are also conveniently located only 5 minutes from lost creek boat ramp, 15 minutes from the world famous Jack Daniels Distillery and 30 minutes from the quaint downtown of Winchester.

We know you will appreciate our lake home being newly renovated—from the floors to the ceilings…the paint, cabinets, decor, furniture, 20' high fireplace, beds and sheets and linens…it’s ALL brand new! Enjoy relaxing in luxury, you won’t regret it! Sipping coffee on our deck while watching the wildlife walk past and fish jumping around our dock is one of the most relaxing things you will encounter during your stay!

You can also enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock in our super quiet and safe cove. Our kids often catch blue gill and sunfish in a matter of minutes! You’re also welcome to enjoy using all of our new outdoor fun things such as: kayaks, froggy lily pad, floating slip-n-slide platform for kids, dock furniture, patio furniture and outdoor gas fireplace for s’mores making! This is luxury living at its finest and we have a feeling you will want to extend your stay or come back again and again!

Please note: Strictly non-smoking. Ideal for a family week/weekend get-a-way or church retreat. 12 people maximum. Driveway is very steep, no heavy trucks with trailers allowed. Spiral staircase leads to downstairs. Guests must be a minimum of 30 years old to book this property.
