- "Very nice place" - "Convenience " - "nice comfortable well run" - "I paid at the hotel after making the reservation for 2 rooms for 2 nights online. They charged $50.00 more than I was supposed to be charged. Also the rooms were each supposed to have a King bed but one had double beds. The rooms were clean and the beds are comfortable. Our first night was peaceful. We were up early and gone until late the next night but when we got back one of our rooms door was open and must have been that way all day as the room had fresh towels. After further inspection, it was obvious that the door wouldnt latch unless it was aggressively shut. I advised the office, hopefully it gets fixed. The second night wasnt as peaceful. One of the other patrons had a drunken knock down drag out fight with his co occupant. They threw each other in and out of the room breaking beer bottles in the breezeway. Our experience was unfortunate as we travel often to Hartselle and had hoped to find a place in town to stay to be closer to our family. When we return to Hartselle will again stay in Decatur at other establishments about 10 miles away. "

We had a couple of power outages due to strong storms in the area. The owner went over and above to help us out in that situation. So accommodating and kind. Our optional 2018 SouthBay Tritoon family pleasure boat (no pets or fishing on boat) seats up to 8 people and is only available to renters of Little's on the Lake or Grace's Retreat. The boat can be delivered to the house dock by 9:00 a.m. the morning of your first rental day and the boat will remain with you until sunset of the last rental day or the following morning.

Boat availability is March through October at $350 per day. A $300 cash at delivery security deposit is required and returned to you upon return and inspection of boat. Lake level and mechanical condition of boat determines availability.

The attached bathroom has a modern design and a locking barn door, for privacy. Tucked away on its own level, this suite offers a peaceful, private retreat even without a door at the stairway.

The first floor includes a welcoming living area and a cozy second bedroom with a queen bed, Roku TV, and a sliding barn door for privacy. The newly renovated recreation room doubles as a sleeping area, complete with a queen sofa sleeper, dresser, desk/workspace, Roku TV, and direct access to the back porch. You’ll also find a convenient washer/dryer closet for your use.

Every TV in the house is equipped with Roku and high-speed internet (200 MB download), providing access to numerous free channels—including MLB, NFL, and 75+ live options. You can also log in to your own streaming accounts for a personalized experience.

The kitchen and dining area come fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals or enjoy your morning coffee. You’ll find a full suite of modern appliances, cookware, utensils, and even a coffee and tea station. For outdoor chefs, there’s a propane grill ready for cookouts on the porch. From October to March, the water level lowers, which can make the dock ramp steep or occasionally unusable—but the peaceful atmosphere and crisp lake views during this time are unmatched.

The space
Cottage is set in the middle of wooded area with fabulous creek views. Very Cozy. Lots of details put into cottage and outdoor area. Decorated seasonally. The tranquility is unsurpassed. All the comforts of home. We live on property but out of view. Only 10 minutes from downtown.
High speed internet access, fully equipped kitchen, Queen bedroom downstairs is the main bedroom, but we also have a king in the loft. Bathroom features tiled walk in shower with shower bench, LED lit mirror, bluetooth speakers. Cottage deck has a small firepit sitting area and there is also a larger deck built overhanging the creek with comfy seating and firepit. The front porch swing is the perfect touch for enjoying a cup of coffee or reading a book. Several sitting areas along side creek to enjoy the beauty of nature, along with a wooded trails. NO PETS ALLOWED. NO CHILDREN ALLOWED. Cullman has a unique historic downtown. The Warehouse/Historic district has nice boutiques, coffee shops, & Restaurants. Duchess Bakery is a must! Feshalle farmers market is open 3 days a week. Ave Maria Grotto is 7.9 miles away and The Shrine is 8.8 miles away. Smith Lake is 21 miles away. Lots of local attractions within driving distance. Waterfalls, covered bridges, caverns, historical places, Space & Rocket Center etc. ..

The Blue Bird 2 bedroom 2 bath home and the is a place to kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. All the features of home without the worries. Makes for a great getaway, business trip, or staycation with possibilities in each direction. Smith Lake (10 minutes) to enjoy water and outdoor activities and to the East is Cullman (14 minutes) to do some shopping and eating while exploring the downtown area. Plus located 43 minutes to Birmingham to the South and 53 minutes to Huntsville to the North. Located couple minutes off of I-65. Guest access. Guest will have access to the whole property.

Cabin perched on the hillside overlooking the main channel.. Rock Creek. 100 ft+ deep water year round. Access to the water via a gravel road that circles around the hillside to the clearing below with available space for parking with easy access to the water for fishing and swimming. Also there are steps from the cabin down to the boat dock and swim deck, but like most places around here there are quit a few steps. There's around 100 steps
Other things to note
If you're bringing a boat and trailer there is plenty of space on the property to park (cleared pad on top of the hill). Swayback Bridge Public Boat Ramp is less than 3 miles from the cabin by car. You can see it from the cabin on the other side of the river. You are welcome to park your boat at my boat dock if you like.

This cottage is designed to be ultra modern and efficient and literally sits on top of the water. With 2 king bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, along with a bunk room (1 set of twin over twin bunks), and a pull-out/rollaway bed. It sleeps 6- 8 guests and has a full kitchen, living area, washer dryer, outside deck, fire-pit and great water views. We also offer concierge services to fully stock each cottage with food, beverages and any other needs you might have when you arrive at the lake.

Quaint Cullman was built around the railroad and the historic district, with some of the city's finest homes, is adjacent to the RR. This residence is about 1 block away from the RR line, so you will hear an occasional train coming through town. For most people this is not a disturbance.

Private, on-site parking that also allows for small trailers with boat. Easily accessible drive with three potential entry/exit points. We are in walking distance to several downtown events and venues.
