The house has all the amenities of home. It comes with a large front loading washer and dryer, and the kitchen has a full size electric stove, microwave and refrigerator. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes, cookware, utensils, and all the essentials to prepare a meal. The dining room has seating for six.

- "We drove our boat to the cozy cottage for a couple days of R&R. We arrived and got right into the cottage. Very welcoming and clean, it has 1 queen bed with a fireplace (great for fall time), bathroom and livingroom. There’s a small porch on front and back deck with chairs and table on both. We were able to dock our boat right up to the cabin. Had dinner on the property at Wintzells oyster house and did some fishing morning, noon and night. Limited cooking supplies, but that was okay with us as we made our meals very simple for this stay. There was a coffee maker that makes a cup at a time (k-cup or ground coffee). Tv is antenna or hotspot to your phone for Roku. It had everything we needed and very pleasant stay. Neighbors next door were super friendly and pleasant to talk to. If it wasn’t for the mosquitoes we would’ve talked longer lol. Definitely would book again! 😁"

It is on Buck Island, just minutes from Highway 431, a public boat launch, Alred Marina, Gunter’s Landing Golf Course, and Guntersville City Harbor. It is 150 yards to community lake access with docking space for 4 boats. You can see the community pier from the driveway, the only reason you can’t see it from the porch is because of the trees that line the community pier path. Covered parking for 2 vehicles with boat trailers (22 feet wide and 71 feet long, with 46 feet under carport) and driveway parking (12 feet wide and 45 feet long), both with access to power. Parking for additional vehicles and boat trailers is available in the side yard.

"SB Hideout" is 1200 square feet, with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, sitting on ½ an acre with woods on two sides. One bedroom has 2 Queen beds, and an attached bathroom with a garden soaking tub. The second bedroom has 1 Queen bed. There is a second full bathroom with a shower/tub. There is a twin bed in the corner of the living room. All beds have memory foam mattresses purchased in 2023. All linens, bedding, and towels were purchased in 2023.

The house has central AC and heat and a gas fireplace. The laundry room is accessed from the back patio and has a window AC unit.

The open kitchen/living room provides plenty of room for 7 to watch TV. The table seats 4 and the kitchen island provides seating for 4. The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare and serve meals. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, bakeware, coffee pot, toaster, and grilling utensils. There is a picnic table on the covered back patio with a view of the woods and a second picnic table on the covered side patio adjacent to the covered carport. The covered front porch with rocking chairs has a view of the lake in the winter.

There are two smart LG TVs, a 65 inch TV in the living room and a 45 inch TV in the larger bedroom. Cable is not provided. “LG TV” provides a wide range of channels, or login to your favorite app.

The garage is not available for guests.

The closest boat launches are at a public boat launch on Highway 431 just before Veterans Memorial Bridge going over the lake into town and Alred Marina Ramp, both 3 minutes away.

In order to confirm a booking, a completed and signed rental agreement is required within 24 hours. The rental agreement requires confirmation of the number of adults and children in the group, agreeing to the house rules, and providing a photo of the driver's license of the person signing the rental agreement.

No third party bookings allowed. No smoking and no pets allowed on the property. The home is pet free in order to accommodate guests with pet allergies.

In no event shall the Rental Property be occupied by more persons than the capacity of the property as stated on the web site or the confirmation letter, without prior approval by Owner. Any visitors (even "day visitors") not included in the group size of your reservation MUST BE APPROVED PRIOR TO YOUR ARRIVAL DATE. No fraternities, school, civic, or other non-family groups are allowed unless Owner grants prior approval. Violations of these rules are grounds for expedited removal from the property with no refund of any kind and forfeiture of the entire $500 security deposit.

Guests on the property are limited to those listed on the rental agreement. No additional overnight guests allowed at any time. Additional day guests require pre-approval. No parties or events allowed. These rules are strictly enforced. Failure to abide by these rules may result in immediate removal from the property and forfeiture of deposit and all monies paid to book the property.

Exterior cameras are installed on the property as part of a security system. Cameras provide surveillance of the driveway and the front porch.

Bakers Loft is a 700 Sqft house located 350 feet away from the primary residence. The ceiling has custom shiplap and the loft has a specially designed spiral staircase. Living room and both bedrooms have TVs. There is a full bath and kitchen for guest to use with WiFi. Plenty of room to park a boats, trucks, or RV’s with water hook up and 120 volt to charge your batteries. This is a very unique site, due to the custom ceiling and spiral staircase. Located mid-lake (halfway between Guntersville and Scottsboro) and just 0.2 mi from the Mink Creek boat ramp, The Honey Hole is the perfect cabin for the fisherman or family,

As you drive up Jeffery Rd The Honey Hole will be the second cabin on your left. On the way to the cabin, you'll pass the Mink Creek Boat ramp on the right with many other ramps such as the Waterfront boat ramp, Goose Pond and many others very close.

You'll enter the property and park up to 2 vehicles or boats under the lighted carport that has power to charge your batteries after a long day of fishing. There's a grill and patio out front with a table and chairs allowing for some time outside.

As you enter the cabin, the kitchen and great room area are to your right and the bedrooms are to your left. The large kitchen includes everything you'll need to make memorable meals. Your Kitchen includes full sized appliances including a dishwasher as well as a microwave, coffee maker and filters, toaster. Cookware, dishes and flatware are also included.

The large open concept area allows for great communication whether you're in the kitchen or great room area. You're spacious great room offers comfortable seating on leather couches, the half bath, a wall mounted big screen television powered by DirecTV and an awesome full sized pool table.

The two bedrooms each include a queen and twin bed. The Jack and Jill full bathroom is located between the 2 bedrooms. You'll find the cleanest bedding and freshest towels anywhere!

There is a private beach area by the creek. There is no full kitchen but we have an outdoor grill. There is a microwave and kureig inside cabin. The cabin is pretty secluded for privacy and quietness. It sits at the dead end of the road. I live about 400 ft from the cabin. There is a large fire pit for you to use. The hot tub sits near the edge of the bluff and has amazing view of the creek. Feel free to gather up wood on the property to use for the fire pit. The bathroom consist of a shower, toilet and sink. There is an outdoor shower as well.
