- "We drove our boat to the cozy cottage for a couple days of R&R. We arrived and got right into the cottage. Very welcoming and clean, it has 1 queen bed with a fireplace (great for fall time), bathroom and livingroom. There’s a small porch on front and back deck with chairs and table on both. We were able to dock our boat right up to the cabin. Had dinner on the property at Wintzells oyster house and did some fishing morning, noon and night. Limited cooking supplies, but that was okay with us as we made our meals very simple for this stay. There was a coffee maker that makes a cup at a time (k-cup or ground coffee). Tv is antenna or hotspot to your phone for Roku. It had everything we needed and very pleasant stay. Neighbors next door were super friendly and pleasant to talk to. If it wasn’t for the mosquitoes we would’ve talked longer lol. Definitely would book again! 😁"

This tiny cabin is a two bedroom and 1 bath. Downstairs you have a spacious living room and kitchen that includes everything you would need for a comfy stay. Couch does fold out to sleep one adult. There is a bar table to eat or do your computer work at. The kitchen has a refrigerator, stove, microwave, drip style coffee maker and all the essentials needed to eat, cook and drink. The downstairs bedroom includes a queen-size bed and cubical dresser. The upstairs bedroom is accessed by climbing the rustic ladder where you'll find two full-size beds. The bathroom is downstairs and is very roomy. It has a walk-in shower, toilet and vanity. The bathroom does come with a set of toiletries for your trip which includes; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and lotion.
Check-in is super simple, you will receive a door code the day before your trip that you will enter to access your cabin.

Pets are allowed but we ask that you limit them to two pets max, cats and dogs only. NO PIT BULL BREEDS ARE ALLOWED!

Guest access
Guest will have their own private cabin. Guest are allowed to walk around anywhere on the property. Fishing, hiking, kayaking are all allowed on the property. We only ask that when you fish that you catch and release back the fish. The large white building is the "Entertainment Center". Guest are allowed to come and go as they wish in the Entertainment Center from 7am-10pm daily. There is a door on the left side with a key pad, the code is given out the day before your trip. Inside the Entertainment Center we have a variety of things to do; basketball, soccer, obstacle course inflatable, jump house inflatable, arcade and more. All we ask is that children are supervised while doing anything on the property.

Located mid-lake (halfway between Guntersville and Scottsboro) and just 0.2 mi from the Mink Creek boat ramp, The Honey Hole is the perfect cabin for the fisherman or family,

As you drive up Jeffery Rd The Honey Hole will be the second cabin on your left. On the way to the cabin, you'll pass the Mink Creek Boat ramp on the right with many other ramps such as the Waterfront boat ramp, Goose Pond and many others very close.

You'll enter the property and park up to 2 vehicles or boats under the lighted carport that has power to charge your batteries after a long day of fishing. There's a grill and patio out front with a table and chairs allowing for some time outside.

As you enter the cabin, the kitchen and great room area are to your right and the bedrooms are to your left. The large kitchen includes everything you'll need to make memorable meals. Your Kitchen includes full sized appliances including a dishwasher as well as a microwave, coffee maker and filters, toaster. Cookware, dishes and flatware are also included.

The large open concept area allows for great communication whether you're in the kitchen or great room area. You're spacious great room offers comfortable seating on leather couches, the half bath, a wall mounted big screen television powered by DirecTV and an awesome full sized pool table.

The two bedrooms each include a queen and twin bed. The Jack and Jill full bathroom is located between the 2 bedrooms. You'll find the cleanest bedding and freshest towels anywhere!

If you travel with a dog just ask, in many cases we're happy to have your well behaved and house broken dog as a guest too.

Beautiful retreat cabin for couples. Pics do not do this place justice. 224 sq ft. Has a full size bed downstairs and a queen size memory foam mattress in loft. There is a trail that leads to creek. There is a private beach area by the creek. There is no full kitchen but we have an outdoor grill. There is a microwave and kureig inside cabin. The cabin is pretty secluded for privacy and quietness. It sits at the dead end of the road. I live about 400 ft from the cabin. There is a large fire pit for you to use. The hot tub sits near the edge of the bluff and has amazing view of the creek. Feel free to gather up wood on the property to use for the fire pit. The bathroom consist of a shower, toilet and sink. There is an outdoor shower as well.

The seclusion and amenities made for the best couple's retreat I've ever been on, and we had a great time reconnecting with one another without all of the distractions of day-to-day life.
