Cabin is 1.5 miles from Flat Hollow Marina and renters can use owners boat slip during their stay! 1 loft bedroom with queen bed and downstairs bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds. - "This house was everything we needed. Plenty of room for all 10 of us to sleep and have space. The kitchen had everything we needed to fix our meals. We would definitely come back here again! The location on the lake was perfect. We liked that it was quiet away from the main part of the lake. The view was great. The dock was nice. We rented a pontoon boat from Oasis.(They were great as well! Would definitely recommend them!) The kids enjoyed jumping off the top of the dock. We had an awesome time!"

Feel like you are in a 'tree house'...yet have a private double deck dock in a private cove! Whether you are a house-boater, skier, fisherman, sightseer, sunbather, or water sports lover, Norris Lake has it all. Norris Lake was created by the construction of the Norris Dam in 1936. This hydroelectric project was the Tennessee Valley Authority’s first. The lake’s beautiful blue-green waters span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. Norris’ boundaries extend up the Clinch and Powell rivers which feed Norris with clear, pristine waters. It’s an ideal environment for sportsmen and vacationers alike.

STAIRS ALERT: Please be aware that there are 250 +/- steps from the cabin to the dock (and back up again!!). Well worth the effort to get there and back, but we like to be sure our customers know this before committing to the rental.

This home is situated in a beautiful cove on Lake Norris. It has 2 bedrooms and the basement is a bunk area/game room. The upstairs has a king size bed in one of the rooms and the other room has a queen size bed, one full bathroom with shower/and tub , separate private hot tub house, porch, stairs to the dock, basement area with couches and three twin beds, with an extra twin mattress under one of the beds. There is high speed internet and Roku TV's in both upstairs bedrooms, in the living room area, and in the basement bunk room. Washer and Dryer are downstairs.

Enjoy the beautiful wildlife, private setting, swimming, boat slip, jet ski slip, lots of lounge chairs, fishing.... all you need to relax and 'get away' from it all!

Closest marinas by car are Whitman Hollow Marina and Indian River Marina, and by boat--Whitman Hollow and Sequoyah Marina is closest. Boat rentals are available at all three of these marinas.

Escape to the Foothills of Tennessee and Enjoy Year Round Water. Have your morning coffee and watch the sunrise while relaxing on our deck, fish off our private dock or rent a boat from the nearby marina and enjoy a day of fun on the water. We also have plenty of space to park multiple trailers, so be sure to bring down your ATVs and boats!

The property currently has an incline to the lake, and while this is very common at Norris Lake, it may not be for everyone. The steps are suitable for our family members ages 4 - 70. However, a new tram has been installed and is available to renters, which eliminates the need to use the steps. For those who are not familiar with a tram, it’s like an elevator on the lake, and will allow groups up to 4 people + bags/coolers to travel to and from the dock. The steps will remain available but will not be maintained.

- "We had a great week on Norris lake. The house was perfect for our group. They had all the baby gear which made packing easier. The steps down to the lake are a bit challenging (watch out for older/less mobile people) but we had a great time boating and hanging out on the dock. Thanks for a great stay!" - "We stayed here to ride ATV trails. The location is a little far for that but we made it work. The property is beautiful and was the perfect size for our large group. The kids has a blast playing outside. There is plenty of seating for meals or hanging out. The beds and pillows were so comfortable. The kids loved the wii in the basement living area. The property is well upkept. There is endless hot water!! Overall, we loved it and would be happy to stay again even though it was a little further from the trails than we thought."

We have replaced our grill with a new stainless 5 burner grill and have also replaced all mattresses and box springs, king size beds in bedrooms 3 queen beds in loft.
This gorgeous log home is located in a pristine cove in the Cove Pointe / Big Creek area on Norris Lake (point 6). The lake is literally right out your window. Home is in a cove so lake/ dock is primarily accessible may, June, July, aug early September due to lake level dropping in the off season. We still book outside lake season as the area is a peaceful getaway to enjoy family time.

The home features two main decks that over look the crystal clear lake and woods and there are 2 smaller decks on the side of the home and out front. Great places to hang out.

The home itself boasts a well furnished great room that is so welcoming and includes a nice large fire place with a newly installed big screen TV above fireplace. Great place to relax and enjoy family. Also a highlight are the excellent dining areas both inside and on the main deck with a wonderful view of the woods and water. You will find that everyone seems to gravitate to that main deck and its so fun to settle in after a long day on the water to laugh and tell stories. The kitchen is fully equipped and up to date including disposal, blender, dish washer etc. so you can focus on the fun stuff rather than the clean up. The washer and dryer in the main bathroom offers further convenience.

All bedrooms are roomy and tastefully finished- pillow and fresh bed linens provided. And if you fall asleep on that comfy couch... well... people might just leave you there!

Also- just in case of a rainy day we have videos and games but feel free to bring your own favorite fun stuff. The cabin has Wi-Fi but we hope you spend most of your time on the water and don't really need it.

The easy walk to the dock and water is a short path through the beautiful canopy of trees. You may see deer- turtles- squirrels- wood peckers- otters or just about anything on your way to the lake. The dock gives you plenty of room to put your boat and feel free to bring your jet skis and put then on the 2 jet ski ports. Sequoyah, Whitman Hollow and Star Dust Marinas are near by. In season you can enjoy great food and drinks at the marinas.

You just wont find a home this nice in such a beautiful cove on Norris Lake at this price.
Trust me- this is the best part of the lake! And the beautiful cabin is perfect!!

- "Loved the location and the house!" - "Its a great location with plenty of room and a very nice part of the lake. We had camp fires, used the dock, rented a boat and went off-roading near by. Stock up before you go, your about 25 minutes from groceries. If your into water sports or fishing, the lake is amazingly clear and you can hop from marina to marina to refresh and eat." - "Overall it was a nice trip. Very accommodating for the amount of people we had. Make sure you have everything you need while in town it took us about 25 mins to get to Walmart. The only negative thing would have to be the Wi-Fi kept cutting out around the same time every night. The last day there we didn’t have service at all until we loaded up the next morning to leave. We have small children so some service would of been great incase if an emergency. The cabin is out in the middle of nowhere so it’s to be expected I suppose."

The cabins interior is comfortable and cozy, with a family room that provides plenty of seating and beautiful vaulted cedar ceilings. When you enter the cabin you’ll immediately enjoy the open airy feeling and notice all the natural light. The home features two bathrooms and two bedrooms with king size beds, (one up and one down) along with two twin beds and a queen mattress located in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make cooking simple, and the lower level features a washer and dryer for your convenience. The large screened in front porch makes for a great place to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake and the open-air side porch is great for grilling out and enjoying your dinner. The trees are tremendous and keep things fairly cool in the summer with all their shade. Comparatively speaking we have a gradual slope to the lake that reaches our large private dock. We also have two wave-runner platforms available for your use. Our property has nearly 200 feet of lake frontage with a nice curve that adds to the surrounding water view. Norris Lake has 800 miles of shore line that wind through the foothills of Tennessee. Much of the land is protected which helps keep the forestry and wildlife safe and in abundance. The lake is very deep and unbelievably clear. There are ATV trails close in the town of Lafollette if your and off road enthusiasts. Enjoy our cabin for a fun family vacation, a fishing week with the boys, or a relaxing weekend away!

One of the best features of this home is its private covered dock and sundeck, which provide you with year-round access to the lake. You can swim, fish, or cruise your boat within steps of your door - just head 50 feet down the scenic path and you’ll feel like you’re the only ones on the lake. After a day on the water, you can soak in the private hot tub that overlooks Norris Lake.

Inside, the open floor plan is great for entertaining and socializing. As you enter on the main level, you'll be greeted by a dining table and a kitchen with a large refrigerator/freezer, a double oven, a dishwasher, a variety of cookware and utensils, and additional seating at the island bar. The cabin had a lot of the necessities but if there was anything you needed there is plenty of stores nearby. We loved the quiet cove and not having steps to navigate to get down to the water. Simply rent by contacting NorrisLakeWaterSports (ask for Norris Lake Villas discount) they offer delivery services or contact nearby Flat Hollow marina (ask for the Norris Lake Villas discount) and Powell Valley Marina. Next closest are Springs Dock and Blue Springs Dock. Due to liability reasons, we cannot provide flotation devices. We do provide the large floating dock.

The nearest marina with full services including boat ramp is Flat Hollow marina 1/2 mile away via road or water. The marina also has gas, ice, restaurant, beer, and small grocery items, and entertainment such as live music. Store your trailers and extra vehicles in the designated parking lots above the marina.

We provide a large propane grill with free propane. The large town of LaFollette, TN offers many typical businesses such as hospitals, drug stores, fast food, sit down restaurants, and full grocery stores. For reference to your target destination, Shady Grove is located approximately 15 minutes east of downtown LaFollette.

The top has 1 master bedroom with king bed, full sleeper sofa and full bath with jacuzzi tub.

The middle (main) has a living room, kitchen, dining room with table seating for 8 plus 2 more at the kitchen counter and 1/2 bath. The spacious living room offers a 65” TV and two full size leather reclining couches, leather recliner, and bay window for additional seating.

The lower has 2 bedrooms. One with a Queen bed and a set of bunk beds and the other has full over full bunk beds. Between the bedrooms is a full bath with washer and dryer. The lower level has a family room with LED TV and foosball table which leads out to a large deck overlooking beautiful Norris Lake.

Outside, enjoy gathering with family & friends while grilling out on the gas grill or playing corn hole. There is plenty of eating & gathering space outside on the lower deck, or enjoy eating at the upper level 'high-top' area while overlooking the water. Enjoy your morning cup of coffee on the porch swing with just the sounds of nature on this secluded part of the lake. During the day, spend time boating on the clear, glass-like water of Big Creek or just relax and have fun swimming or hanging out at the private covered dock with giant swim platform and picnic tables...in the back of a quiet deep-water cove, there's no need to worry about wake from boats cruising by at high speed. Float in the lake or take the paddle boat or 2 provided kayaks out for a cruise and look for many of the turtles, heron, or beavers that live in the cove. Fishing off a paddle boat is great too - it gives you access to many more spots on the water than you could fit a boat. In the evenings, enjoy eating S'mores around the campfire at the large fire pit.

Take the steps or walk the concrete path using the available pull-cart down to the Private dock with 28' deep covered single slip, swim platform, waterslide, & gangway with rail. This swim platform has multiple picnic tables and seating for relaxing and fishing in the back of the cove. You may want to spend all day just at the dock with our recently installed patio cooler and water slide. Our dock has composite decking so no need to worry about splinters in little feet. Please note: like many houses at Norris lake, there are steps to the water. Taking the path will only leave 25-35 steps depending on the water level.

We do ask all guests to wet-sign a copy of our rental agreement subsequent to booking.

- "A great place to spend with the family" - "Great house. It has a decent amount of steps to get down to the water, but if you minimize trips, it’s definitely doable. There is a ramp that you can walk things down with the provided carts, but it is still fairly steep. The listing states there is no WiFi, but it has been recently outfitted and worked well for everyone that was in the house. Most things that we needed in the kitchen were supplied as far as cooking utensils. The dock was very nice and the kids had a blast sliding down the water slide. Overall it was a very nice house with plenty of room."

All four levels of our home, dock and decks are fully and non-shared accessible to guests, with the exception of two locked cleaners / owners storage closets and the storage crawl space under the house.

Tom Sturm is the licensed vacation rental manager, and also owns a local real estate firm. Tom and the team of cleaners, service folks, and vendors are always available to respond to any need or concern, just a phone call, text or email away.

Flat Hollow's full service Marina (small store, boat launch, restaurant and gas -in season) is a half mile up the cove leading out to main channel on Norris Lake.

Also a rope swing back in the cove (right side opposite from the house, hanging from a tree past the Overlook Bay boat slips), and wide open unlimited access to Norris Lake - the Marinas and restaurants, jumping bridges and jumping rocks, water sports, boating, swimming and relaxing.

Overlook Bay is the community directly across the cove, part of the Chuck Swan Wildlife Management Preserve - often our guests spot deer, turkey ... and members of the bald eagle family that makes its home there!

Your vehicles are the best way to get around on land - we have Parking for 4 with overflow parking nearby or mgmt office. To navigate the lake, boats and jet skis work best - although we do offer 6 kayaks for exploring the cove right down by the dock, or bring your own paddle boards or tubes to just enjoy floating around, and feel free to walk or hike, enjoying the natural beauty and low-traffic area near the lake!

We have a separate rental agreement that supersedes air B and B policy to sign upon acceptance, most notably including a no refund cancellation policy and minimum reservation age of 26. It is also required that guests purchase a $60 damage protection plan through CSA; additional information provided upon reservation.

This extremely clean and comfortable lakefront 2700 sq ft cabin features 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. It is totally renovated and new to the rental market. We have thought of everything for you to have a relaxing and memorable family vacation. The highlight of this cabin is the incredible and unmatched views of the lake that will be hard to find in another home at this price. This home sleeps 12 with ALL new bedding and mattresses in every room. My wish is that you will not want to leave!

Dawson’s Creek is located in the Cove Pointe area of Big Creek on Norris Lake in a quiet and private cove. It is a safe spot to swim, fish, kayak and explore, but also close to a main channel for skiing and tubing with Whitman Hollow and Sequoyah Marina nearby. There are 2 spacious, comfortable balconies to sit and enjoy your morning coffee while watching nature, as the land across the cove is all natural and untouched. Down by the water, we have a unique piece of cleared, flat area to hang out with a fire pit or just relax and enjoy the peacefulness of the lake. We’ve had multiple contractors comment what a great spot it is.

The master bedroom is on the main level with a memory foam king size bed. You will be spoiled sleeping here waking up to look out at the smooth water. A spacious newly renovated full bathroom is across the hall from the master bedroom. Also on the main level is a family room with a TV that receives many local stations and a DVD player with many movies. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you will need, including a coffee pot, Keurig, crockpot, griddle, blender, toaster, mixer, and new pots and pans to name a few. All stainless steel appliances complete the kitchen. You have full and clear views of the lake from anywhere on the main level. Off the family room is a full covered balcony with a table and chairs, hanging wood swing, and a propane gas grill.

Upstairs is a loft with a twin with a trundle, desk, and small TV with attached DVD player. It is a quiet and inviting ‘escape’ in the cabin. Off the loft is a large bedroom furnished with a queen and 2 twin beds.

The private lower level walks out to another covered porch with table and chairs. There is a queen bedroom with beautiful views of the lake. The lower level also has a pull out queen couch and 2 full size futons, providing a spacious area for many children to be together comfortably. There is a 55” TV with an Xbox with many games as well as a large table with a box of games and puzzles to keep the kids occupied. A newly renovated full bathroom is downstairs with a washer/dryer. There is an additional full sized refrigerator downstairs to accommodate multiple families’ groceries, also making it convenient when bringing food/drinks down to the water.

There is a single slip covered dock. The dock has a 7' swim platform fun for kids of all ages, also a spacious swim platform. 2-3 cars fit in the driveway with additional parking available for a trailer off the street.

We have 2 kayaks and a jon boat to rent for $35/day for all. Marinas charge $45/day per kayak, so that is quite a bargain. Our cove is very interesting and exciting to explore! Children will be fully entertained paddling around on a nature adventure!

Chubby Bear's Lakehouse is a two-bedroom, one bath cabin that can sleep six adults. The lake house can be used for a couple's getaway or it can easily accommodate a small family. We are a small community of seven lake house cabins. Both bedrooms have queen beds and the living room couch pulls out to make a queen sofa sleeper. Enjoy complimentary high speed internet and stream the latest movies on the 43 inch flat screen. The lake house is located on six acres of land on a quiet, dead end road.
Staying at Chubby Bear’s lake house you will have your own single boat slip and the use of a shared(community) private boat ramp. There is plenty of gravel parking for cars, boat trailers and 4-wheel trailers.
When you arrive you can enter the cabin with a convenient keyless entry. The kitchen is equipped for full meal preparation.

- "We arrived and even got to check in a little early, property was well maintained, clean and stocked with all the necessities needed to have a great weekend. Slept everyone very comfortably with plenty of indoor and outdoor space for games and hanging out. Driveway was extremely steep so be prepared for that, would not recommend trying to get a truck and trailer down to the house, as there is no where to turn around at house with your trailer and driveway being so steep i dont think that you could pull boat back up smoothly and definitely wont be able to back it out up the hill. Beautiful water and easy access to get your boat in and out at the dock for breaks from the water. Great place to stay if looking for something with water access and have to accommodate a large group."

1. For the safety of our guests, we ask that you do not dive off the dock or swim without life vests. Norris Lake is very deep; Please have children wear life vests at all times while on the dock and in the water. There are plenty of sizes available for guest use in the garage downstairs.

2. All outdoor seat cushions, water recreation items, boat accessories, and trash must be brought from the dock to the house prior to your departure.

3. This house runs on a septic system. Please do not flush sanitary napkins, tampons, wipes, or anything other than toilet paper down the toilets.

4. Never leave trash on the dock or outside unless it is bagged and in the provided cans. More info on trash requirements will be provided in the check-out instructions.

My three story log and stone cabin located in Rock Harbor, has breathtaking views of Norris Lake and the Cumberland Mountains. The wrap around porch, lake and mountain vistas, hummingbirds, wild turkey, deer and occasional bald eagle make this a special mountain lake retreat.
Rock Harbor is a private 1000 acre community with a playground, basketball court, covered pavilion with underground utilities and private lake access and marina with nearby boat rentals. The serenity of Norris Lake, one of the 10 largest and cleanest lakes in the US is extraordinary. Lakeside restaurants just a few minutes away by car or boat.

It was 2016 that I found this incredible custom cabin in the mountains on Norris Lake. It captivated me the moment I stepped onto the wrap around porch and gazed upon the breath taking beauty all around. I enjoy sharing my home.

From the moment you walk through the front door, this retreat welcomes you to a wonderful family vacation. You can step outside on the lower level deck and walk the stairs down to the private covered dock with a party pad.

Ma Cook Lodge - Sharps Chapel

This beautiful cabin on Norris Lake is located in Sharps Chapel in East Tennessee - a prime lakefront location near Beach Island Marina and Bubba Brew's on the main channel. This quiet, wooded area is far removed from the city lights and noise, so the entire family can relax, unwind, and enjoy nature.

One of the best features of this home is its private covered dock and sundeck, which provide you with year-round access to the lake. You can swim, fish, or cruise your boat within steps of your door - just head 50 feet down the scenic path and you’ll feel like you’re the only ones on the lake. After a day on the water, you can soak in the private hot tub that overlooks Norris Lake.

Inside, the open floor plan is great for entertaining and socializing. As you enter on the main level, you'll be greeted by a dining table and a kitchen with a large refrigerator/freezer, a double oven, a dishwasher, a variety of cookware and utensils, and additional seating at the island bar. Also on the main level are a primary bedroom suite and a half-bath/laundry room with a full-size washer/dryer.

But the great room is the main attraction. You'll fall in love with this beautiful space, offering a wood-burning stone fireplace and charming, rustic décor. Admire majestic views of Norris Lake as you walk from the great room onto the main deck. Sear steaks or the catch of the day on the gas grill and enjoy the beauty of the woods and the lake.

The open loft has a sleeping space, a full bathroom, and a desk if you must get some work done using the free WiFi. And don't worry about getting stuffy in the loft in the summertime - there's central heat and air, plus an additional window air conditioner.

There is a game shed outside that has corn hole, outdoor games and playpen. its located outside the bunk room and near the side driveway to the basement.

In the upstairs closet near the front door, we have the infant supplies. Pack-N-Play, high chair and baby gate are all located there.

Lake and bird themed books are located throughout the cabin for your enjoyment.

There is also white towels in the bathrooms for our guests.

3 bed 2 bath, rustic style A Frame located in the Big Creek area of Norris Lake. Our third generation family cabin can accommodate 8 to 10 guests and is located close to 2 of Norris Lake's most popular marinas, Sequoyah and Whitman Hollow!

Though recently renovated, our home maintains its original, locally sourced wood and stone from the Pine Mountain region here in Campbell County, TN.

The space
Built in 1977, this cabin has served as a retreat for three generations of our family. Since 2006, its classic a-frame design, locally sourced wood and stone has invited guests to enjoy a cozy, outdoors getaway here on Norris Lake. We hope we can welcome you into our little slice of heaven.

Over the years we listened to every piece of feedback and advice our guests had. That’s why, in 2017, we underwent a substantial renovation to meet those demands and keep up with the growing popularity of the area.

This three bed, two bath boasts an open floor plan downstairs and two large porches, both overlooking the lake. Downstairs, you will find the fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a master bedroom featuring classic, rustic cabin furnishings, a smart tv and a queen size bed, a newly renovated master bath with an oversized bath/shower combo and the great room. The great room includes upgraded DirectTV entertainment on a 55 inch flat-screen TV, a blue tooth sound bar as well as a sectional sofa, recliner and a love seat. Additional kitchen appliances can be found below.

Upstairs we have two bedrooms and a newly-renovated bathroom. The loft bedroom overlooking the great room sleeps 2 in a queen bed while the back bedroom sleeps 4 with two double beds. Both bedrooms are connected to the upstairs porch which includes seating. For your comfort, a window mounted air conditioner has been added to our upstairs double room.

Our cabin is centrally located so it's really easy to get where you need to go by water! Sequoyah Marina is one of the largest marinas on the lake, and you're just a 10 minute (speed) boat ride away! Sequoyah is a full-service marina offering WaveRunners and Pontoon boat rentals. They start off all their weekends on Friday night with their famous "Wing Night" serving the best wings and coldest Corona on Norris Lake!

Also, just a 10 minute (speed) boat ride away, is Whitman Hollow. Whitman is a smaller dock, but don't let that fool you. Froggies is Whitman's bar that prides itself on great music, delicious food, friendly staff and their high rise dining deck.

For all your land traveling needs, we're really in that happy medium of just close enough in case you need anything and far enough out to not be bothered by the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You'll be in town in about 20-25 minutes and there you'll find an array of food, grocery shopping, gas stations etc.

Unlike most rentals on Norris Lake, we’re from this area and we'd like to think that gives us a little more appreciation and love for this amazing lake.
