Welcome to our Happy Place! 🙂 Kick back and relax in this stylish 2 bedroom 1 bathroom stylish a-frame cabin on a very private lot with views of Norris Lake. Cabin is 1.5 miles from Flat Hollow Marina and renters can use owners boat slip during their stay! 1 loft bedroom with queen bed and downstairs bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds. Note there is a small spiral staircase leading to the bunk room downstairs. Large outdoor deck overlooking the lake with chairs and an outdoor fire pit and gas grill. Only 13 miles from Tackett Creek ATV Trails.

- "Roomy. Cute, and close to the boat dock. Parking a trailer is somewhat hard, but not impossible." - "We had a great stay at this cabin. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was surprisingly really well stocked, (you couldn't tell from the photos) and the beds were super comfortable! The part of the cabin that is finished is around back, so don't be alarmed when you first get there. Just drive around back. The recliner chairs in the living room were also super comfortable. They also had some nice throw blankets you could use while watching TV. There is no ice maker that works, so bring your own ice. Its not a super big cabin, but it had plenty of beds for everyone, and the outdoor deck overlooks a nice view of the water! You are about 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store, so make sure you stop at the Food Lion on the way in or you will have to make a one hour trip there and back for provision like we did. Overall, we had a great time--We will be back!"

We have an awesome Hawk family nesting in the back yard to watch! There is a beautiful lake view with large covered deck overlooking a lovely private cove! Our property offers the safety of a community but the privacy of a secluded getaway. No neighbors on top of you! There is a lovely TVA trail just past our drive you can walk down to fish. The spacious master suite offers a Jacuzzi tub , walk in shower, 46 inch TV, rocking chair and bench for just kicking back. The kitchen with breakfast bar, dining and living space flows right out through french doors to the large back deck overlooking the lake. The open concept promotes togetherness! Walk out the back and enjoy your own private camp fire. Second Bedroom offers queen size bed with full mirrors on his & hers closets next to the full second bath. There are two single memory foam mattresses which can be pulled out for kids or additional guests. New washer and dryer for your convenience & use. Access this home & back your car/truck/ boat right into the carport on a nice flat drive. (room for 2 boats w/ trailers.) We do not have a dock but Cedar Grove Marina is only two miles from the house and you can easily dock there for convenience. By popular demand WiFi has been installed!! Smoking urns are provided on the back deck but there is no smoking permitted inside. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.

Woodlake Golf & Country club is 15 miles away if you want to shoot a round of golf as well. We found a great Vineyard in Maynardville only about 15-20 minutes from the house. Go mountain biking, hiking, or hunting in Chuck Swan state forest which is also about 15 miles away. LMU is about 20 minutes, and the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is only a half hour away! Explore! New Tazewell offers shopping and antique shops to browse. Tazewell Speedway has racing from May through October! Gatlinburg is less than 75 miles away and Knoxville is less than 40 miles if you are looking for more adventure! We are literally 11 minutes from town.

The kitchen had everything we needed to make a variety of meals, the bedrooms were comfortable (the bunk room was cozy small for 7, age 30ish adults), bathrooms were spread all over and the small suite over the garage worked well for a family of 6. Water was great fun and the dock and deck were used all day long. Owners lived adjacent to the rental, but we had everything we needed and no issues to get help with. The steps from the house to the water were numerous, but most of us went up and down as needed. Great house, great stay, great fun."

This hydroelectric project was the Tennessee Valley Authority’s first. The lake’s beautiful blue-green waters span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. Norris’ boundaries extend up the Clinch and Powell rivers which feed Norris with clear, pristine waters. It’s an ideal environment for sportsmen and vacationers alike.

STAIRS ALERT: Please be aware that there are 250 +/- steps from the cabin to the dock (and back up again!!). Well worth the effort to get there and back, but we like to be sure our customers know this before committing to the rental.

This home is situated in a beautiful cove on Lake Norris. It has 2 bedrooms and the basement is a bunk area/game room. The upstairs has a king size bed in one of the rooms and the other room has a queen size bed, one full bathroom with shower/and tub , separate private hot tub house, porch, stairs to the dock, basement area with couches and three twin beds, with an extra twin mattress under one of the beds. There is high speed internet and Roku TV's in both upstairs bedrooms, in the living room area, and in the basement bunk room. Washer and Dryer are downstairs.

There are a lot steps but we managed just fine, even with our 2 pups they did great. We knew exactly what to expect. “Family Affair” is an enormous 5,000 square foot home with 15 beds (7 of which are King size beds). The lake house is located right on the water's edge!!! The entire house with all amenities are strictly yours to enjoy, this includes a huge private double level dock with two covered boat slips and a swim platform. The private boat ramp (for the gated community only) is only about 50 yards from house, so putting your boat in and out will be easy. Family Affair is about a five minute boat ride to the famous 'jumping bridge' and about six minutes to ski water.. Family Affair is ideal for family gatherings or entertaining large groups. Located on an acre lot with more than 150 feet of private water frontage, “Family Affair” is built right on the lake shore as close to the lake as the Tennessee Valley Authority will allow. It has three furnished walkout decks overlooking a tranquil swimming cove where family and friends can float in the sun with no worry of speeding boats or big waves. The lowest of these three decks has a secluded 8 person hot tub for taking in the lake scenery while your relaxation is taken to a whole new level.
Take the steps from the lowest of the three walkout decks to your own private fire pit on the water’s edge. A good late night fire is a perfect way to end the evening next to the lake while telling everyone about your day at the jumping bridge (five minutes away by boat).

Norris Lake is a boater's utopia spanning 5 Tennessee counties with more than 800 miles of shoreline. After 18 years of boating on Norris Lake, there are still many areas we have yet to explore. Norris Lake has over 20 marinas with fuel, food, and entertainment. These are great places to have a drink, watch the game, and to people watch. Many of these marinas have great food, especially fish dinners. If you haven't eaten the striper from Norris Lake you are missing what a lot of people consider the best tasting fish anywhere. The huge two level, two slip covered dock is in year round water, so you can boat and fish anytime of the year!! Many houses in coves loose their water in the fall when the lake is lowered, by mid September these homes can NOT be accessed by water. Typically, Family Affair can be accessed by water, all year round even though it is in a tranquil cove, this is unique!! If you plan on boating after September or before April please let us know and we will get the current lake level for you.

- "Our five family group fit nicely in the Family Affair lakehouse. The 6 queen beds in one unit is something I have never encountered when trying to book!!! The weather was beautiful for the first 3 days and then the rain hit us full force with local flash flooding on our lastt two days. The owner's responded quickly when we needed assistance regarding the possibility of extending the checkout time. The home is comfortably furnished and filled with things to do off the lake..... pool, air hockey, foosball, board games, etc. The two story dock is great for jumping, floating, and fishing fun. The kitchen is well equipped and we really enjoyed the large eating space that could accommodate all 16 of us for dinner time meals together. Awesome rental! 👍🏼👍🏼"

Few locations on Norris Lake are in as close proximity to both the lake, the mountains, and the LaFollette/Jacksboro retail, restaurant, medical, and business district as we are. Across from Indian River Marina we are 2 miles from town. This is a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to stay nestled up next to Koi ponds, about 100 yards from Indian River Marina and the lake, and 20 minutes to fantastic ATV trails.
New in 2018 the property is 600 s.f. with one sizable living room/kitchen combo and a bedroom with queen bed. The living room has a high-quality sleeper sofa. A full-size bathroom and washer/dryer laundry room are accessed through bedroom. In July 2021, we had a new HVAC system installed.
The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. We provide 6 pillows, 2 sets of queen linens, blankets, bed spreads, bath towels, and dish towels, but you must bring your paper products, toiletries, laundry detergent, and dish soap.
There are smart TV's in both rooms with cable, HBO, and Starz channels, and WiFi internet service.
Outside there are three nicely landscaped deck areas to sit, relax, and watch the fish swim.

The cabin is nestled among huge hardwood trees with a beautiful backdrop of the lake. A perfect get away for nearly any season the cabin offers something for everyone. During the warmer seasons, you can enjoy the breeze or you can put your feet up and relax on one of our two decks overlooking Norris Lake. If it’s a chilly evening you can build a bonfire in our outdoor fire pit or cozy up inside to a fire around the beautiful stone fireplace. During the days, your activity choices are nearly limitless. Spend the day playing on the lake, dining at one of the close by marinas for lunch, taking a nap, reading a book, or playing games. There are plenty of places nearby to enjoy hiking, biking, or rafting. With Knoxville just a short 45-minute drive away you can go shopping or find great restaurants for dinner.

The cabins interior is comfortable and cozy, with a family room that provides plenty of seating and beautiful vaulted cedar ceilings. When you enter the cabin you’ll immediately enjoy the open airy feeling and notice all the natural light. The home features two bathrooms and two bedrooms with king size beds, (one up and one down) along with two twin beds and a queen mattress located in the loft. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to make cooking simple, and the lower level features a washer and dryer for your convenience. The large screened in front porch makes for a great place to enjoy your morning coffee overlooking the lake and the open-air side porch is great for grilling out and enjoying your dinner. The trees are tremendous and keep things fairly cool in the summer with all their shade. Comparatively speaking we have a gradual slope to the lake that reaches our large private dock. We also have two wave-runner platforms available for your use. Our property has nearly 200 feet of lake frontage with a nice curve that adds to the surrounding water view. Norris Lake has 800 miles of shore line that wind through the foothills of Tennessee. Much of the land is protected which helps keep the forestry and wildlife safe and in abundance. The lake is very deep and unbelievably clear. There are ATV trails close in the town of Lafollette if your and off road enthusiasts. Enjoy our cabin for a fun family vacation, a fishing week with the boys, or a relaxing weekend away!

This is The Corner Shed, new to our rental program in 2021. Few locations on Norris Lake are in as close proximity to both the lake, the mountains, and the LaFollette/Jacksboro retail, restaurant, medical, and business district as we are. Across from Indian River Marina, we are 2 miles from town. This is a quiet, convenient, and comfortable place to stay, about 100 yards from Indian River Marina and the lake, and 20 minutes to fantastic ATV trails.

New in 2021 the property is 600 s.f. with one sizable living room/kitchen combo and a bedroom with a queen bed. The living room has a high-quality sleeper sofa. A full-size bathroom and washer/dryer laundry room are accessed through the bedroom.
The kitchen is stocked with utensils, pots, pans, dishes, silverware, etc. We provide 6 pillows, 2 sets of queen linens, blankets, bedspreads, bath towels, and dish towels, but you must bring your paper products, toiletries, laundry detergent, and dish soap.
There are smart TV's in both rooms with satellite and WiFi internet service.

We have 2 more Sheds and a house that we rent, so if this one isn't available, ask about the others.

- "We picked the corner shed to ensure we had parking for our truck and Trailor which we did. Close to atv trails and all amenities. Hosts are very responsive. Everything you need is there including a gas grill with propane and fire wood. Very clean and property well maintained. The sheds have more of a small cabin feel. Far exceeded our expectations. We will be staying here again next time we come down. We had a small issue with the combo lock which was fixed within a few minutes and we were able to get in."

Chubby Bear's Lakehouse is a two-bedroom, one bath cabin that can sleep six adults. The lake house can be used for a couple's getaway or it can easily accommodate a small family. We are a small community of seven lake house cabins. Both bedrooms have queen beds and the living room couch pulls out to make a queen sofa sleeper. Enjoy complimentary high speed internet and stream the latest movies on the 43 inch flat screen. The lake house is located on six acres of land on a quiet, dead end road.
Staying at Chubby Bear’s lake house you will have your own single boat slip and the use of a shared(community) private boat ramp. There is plenty of gravel parking for cars, boat trailers and 4-wheel trailers.
When you arrive you can enter the cabin with a convenient keyless entry. The kitchen is equipped for full meal preparation.
We are located in a cove and have plenty of things to keep you busy. Enjoy the sunrise and start your day off at the coffee station with a single serve Keurig or the Ninja drip brew machine. Relax, enjoy the views of the lake, read a book on the porch, enjoy the peaceful surroundings or walk to the lake using the paved (NO STEPS) sidewalk. Spend the day on the lake boating, fishing, swimming or just go exploring. After a fun day you can cook dinner on the gas grill provided. Gather together and enjoy eating on the deck or at the picnic table under the pavilion. To finish the evening, watch the sunset, sit around the fire pit, roast marshmallows and share stories from the day.

The property boasts beautiful 360-degree views of the mountains and of Norris Lake. We are a private 140-acre working farm surrounded by another 260 acres of forest with over 10+ miles of hiking trails for your enjoyment. The Lake is a short hike from your door and is great for fishing, boating, water skiing, wildlife, and picnicking. Perhaps you prefer Side x Side action, we are just a 15-minute drive to the trailhead - via side x side. The cabin is located on the second story of my horse barn and is accessible by a staircase. We have two loft apartments available for rent. This one is Mountainview and boasts
Views Of Our horse Pasture and of the mountains. It also has a full stove with oven if you prefer cook.

D' Nile In Paradise !!! is one of the nicest floating house on the lake. It has 2 Bedroom (Sleeps 12), has 1.5 bathrooms, a side deck with an outside shower and a deck that wraps along 3 sides of the house offering an enjoyable water/sun experience on the lake. The house has Central AC/Heat, washer/dryer, 3 flat screen TV DVD. It has a complete kitchen including dishwasher, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker. The large deck has a gas grill and a swim ladder that is great for swimming or just lounging.

Bedroom # 1 has a king bed. There is a half bathroom located on the main floor. There is a full bathroom on the second floor. Second bedroom has 3 queen beds. Living room has 2 Queen pull out couches.

Ladder to get out of the lake in front, totally unsafe and very hard to get up. They have a board to jump off up on a ladder, and that is what it is a BOARD on a ladder, so none of us would do it. I want to give a shout out to Lucas, the guy that would not give up on the septic issues we had. Place gave us what we needed, somewhere to sleep and relax in the beautiful water BUT not there again. Oh make sure you take a Roku or Firestick if you want to watch any TV. This wasn't mentioned to us, they have these big TVs but only can watch movies, which they had a lot of movies."

Don't worry about not being able to wash or dry your clothes, we have a laundry room with washer and dryer with detergent provided, to get it done.

When you're ready to dine in, You will also find a kitchen, fully equipped to prepare your favorites! Whether you're cooking a quick breakfast or a gourmet dinner, everything you need is right at your finger tips. Also a full fridge to keep your drinks cold or your stays worth of groceries.

Also, don't forget to check out the Margaritaville Machine to make your own Margarita's! Or just jam some music with the SONOS speaker system.

If you love horses, you can bring them along (a separate nightly fee for pasture board). A shared fire pit is also available for your night time enjoyment. Norris Lake is a short hike to fish, bike, camp or picnic. What's your next adventure, just ask, we may have that! We are a NON Smoking facility - inside cabins and outside as well.

Brand new dock (12’ x 32’) with swim ladder to add plenty of room to enjoy a day of playing at the cabin. Two fishing kayaks provided in rental to use inside marina, or take your own boat (or rented boat) on a short ride to the channel to explore all the beauty Norris Lake has to offer. (We also have 2 –42” wide canoes and available to rent for inside marina exploring)!

Lakefront - This rental is the new addition to our home. It has its own private entrance, your private great room, Master ensuite with huge walk in shower. There is a Queen size bed in the great room that would be perfect for extra guest. This part of our home is separated from our own personal living space by a sliding barn door that will be latched for your privacy. Although we will be in the main part of the home we want you to enjoy your time and enjoy Norris Lake.

Guest will also have access to the firepit . We have a dock with a ladder for swimming. Gentle slope yard down to the Lake. Plenty of room at the dock for your boat if you want to bring it. We do have a Pontoon rental business if you are interested in a rental boat. Subject to availability.
In winter months water levels will be at lower levels as TVA lowers water for flood control. Still just as Beautiful just lower levels.

We do have 2 Large but friendly dogs. 8 old Labrador Retriever and 4year old Labrador . They do not usually bark much except when cars pull in or someone knocks on my door. They will be in the yard during the day.

We also offer pontoon rental for an extra fee of 275.00 per day. TN boater license required if born after Jan 1, 1989 If born before No license is required by State Of TN. The pontoon would be full of gas when you take it out on the lake. You will need to refill it back to full when you are done.

The treehouse does not have a full kitchen, but does include a small refrigerator (no freezer), microwave, Keurig coffee maker (complimentary first morning coffee), electric skillet, small air fryer, bread toaster, dishes and silverware. Guest access
Guests should make themselves at home and enjoy their stay! Guests have access to the entire treehouse and yard to lake. Amenities include hot tub (open year round), fire pit, charcoal grill, outdoor seating, outdoor shower (seasonal), and host shared boat dock with guest slip (make your request at booking). Also includes complimentary use of golf cart. During the summer season, guests can easily launch the onsite kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boat and flotations off the dock or boat ramp.

The water is at full pool starting in May and remain at full pool through August. TVA will slowly start dropping the water level in August and rapidly drop by October. Rain will determine the rate of water drop. When water levels are dropped, guests may walk further on the lake bed to reach the water’s edge. The ground may be muddy just after lake drop or rain. If visiting in August or after, ask about the water level before booking. Fall, winter and early spring are great times to explore the lake bed and search for fossils and artifacts.

Other things to note
Please note that Norris Lake water levels change during the off season (early September through March/April). TVA begins dropping the water levels in early September and will begin refilling them in early spring. While we do everything we can to keep our dock floating as long as possible, during the winter months it will likely be landlocked. Our home is still water front during the winter but please know that water will be much more shallow.

We allow friendly dogs at our home with deposit! Please be courteous to our neighbors as they do have dogs that roam freely. They are very friendly and may come to visit so if you or your dog is not ok with dogs, please be aware. Also, please be sure to clean up after your pup :)

THE HAVEN: DOCK – Just you and your guests will enjoy a PRIVATE dock! The year-round water access dock has two slips on either side for you to tie up. The center lift is for owner use only. There is also a jet ski pad to easily park your water toy! There is a swim in/out ladder for easy access to the water. The Haven also offers two kayaks for enjoyment on the lake. The dock canopy offers shade in the afternoon for sitting or lounging around the dock. Happy hour sunsets from the dock are amazing! The property has a WIFI outdoor signal extender sending signals to take your work or play to the dock!

THE HAVEN: DECKS – The Haven offers 4 outdoor deck areas for you to enjoy! Off the great room you will find the expansive wraparound FRONT DECK for you to take in the views of the lake from up on the bluff. It’s like you are in a Tree house!!! It is outfitted with two high tops to see directly to the view. There is also an outdoor dining table that covets easily from 6 to 8! Off the kitchen to the rear side of the property you will find the SIDE DECK with a trellised canopy, 2nd dining space to enjoy coffee in the morning and a gas grill. Upstairs in the Haven Loft you will find the PRIMARY RETREAT DECK. Great for sunbathing on the loungers. Beautiful views from this high point of the property! Lastly, we have the LOWER LAKE DECK (including easy stairs to lake) that has an entertaining area for picnics, etc. if you don’t want to be on the dock or the lake but lakeside. In addition, there are two wooden outdoor swings to relax on, one is lakefront, and the other is at the rear of the home that takes in the wooded views. And don't forget the large lakefront stone firepit with seating area. This property has plenty of places to explore and relax!

NORRIS LAKE - Norris Lake is located about 45 minutes North of Knoxville. It offers over 800 miles of shoreline! In a week's stay you would never see it all! It's one of the clearest cleanest lakes in TN. It's so clear that you jump in off the dock you can see your entire body! The Haven is located halfway between two marinas, Beach Island & Hickory Star. Contact them directly for seasonal boat rentals. There are many beautiful coves to explore with your boat. The Lake is one of the top-rated bass fishing lakes in the United States. Clear, deep water that offer an endless supply of large and smallmouth bass, crappie, walleye, catfish, striped bass, bluegill, spotted bass and lake perch. Great fishing can be had all year round. On a great area of the lake where there is not a lot of boat traffic, which makes swimming, fishing and water sports safe and stress free.

On Norris Lake with year round deep water in a quiet, no wake cove. Newly renovated, this 3 bedroom, 2 bath home is family-friendly. Sleeps up to 12. Near marinas. Kitchen is fully equipped to make gourmet meals. Home has many nice extras. Great outdoor living space with a screened-in back deck, firepit, and 3-tiers of decking leading to our floating dock with slip, kayaks, life jackets, floating Lilly pad.

The space
Primary bedroom has a queen size bed and one twin bunk bed and fireplace. Primary bedroom also has a full bathroom and walk-in closet.
2nd bedroom has 2 full size beds.
3rd bedroom has 2 full size beds.
Kitchen, dining area, family room with fireplace all open up to each other.

Guest access
The whole house and property is yours! We do keep a locked cleaning closet and the storage shed in the carport is also locked.

Other things to note
Hidden away in a no-wake, quiet cove but close to Shanghai, Whitman Hollow, Sequoyah, Sugar Hollow and Stardust marinas where boat and jetski rentals and lakeside dinning are available.

Updated with comfortable furnishings, the home sleeps up to 12. Our full kitchen is equipped to make gourmet meals. The open concept floor plan feels like home. Our floating, covered dock has a boat slip and large swim platform with ladder.

Great outdoor living spaces with a screened-in back deck, and 3-tiers of decking sloping down to the water. There is a firepit, dining tables, lounge chairs. and rockers. Space for a boat trailer along the road or in the driveway. Parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. Dock has a floating lily pad, 2 kayaks, life jackets for use. Please return to their rightful place when finished.

We love dogs and welcome up to a 50 lbs dog. Please clean up their mess because someone else will be there right after you leave and our cleaning crew only has so much time to clean in-between check-out to the next check-in.

Room to park your trailer or RV on the property by the road (not in driveway). Parking for up to 4 vehicles in the driveway. No boat ramp on out propertt but there is one around thew corner in our community and there are plenty local marinas a few miles away.

Norris Lake is one of the cleanest in the country and was created by the Tennessee Valley Authority's damming up the Clinch and Powell Rivers, making a huge reservoir. The clear blue-green water spans 5 counties, 800 miles of shoreline, and over 33,000 acres of water surface. It's absolutely magical here!
