Welcome to our Happy Place! 🙂 Kick back and relax in this stylish 2 bedroom 1 bathroom stylish a-frame cabin on a very private lot with views of Norris Lake. Cabin is 1.5 miles from Flat Hollow Marina and renters can use owners boat slip during their stay! 1 loft bedroom with queen bed and downstairs bedroom has two sets of twin bunk beds. Note there is a small spiral staircase leading to the bunk room downstairs. Large outdoor deck overlooking the lake with chairs and an outdoor fire pit and gas grill. Only 13 miles from Tackett Creek ATV Trails.

- "Roomy. Cute, and close to the boat dock. Parking a trailer is somewhat hard, but not impossible." - "We had a great stay at this cabin. Everything was very clean. The kitchen was surprisingly really well stocked, (you couldn't tell from the photos) and the beds were super comfortable! The part of the cabin that is finished is around back, so don't be alarmed when you first get there. Just drive around back. The recliner chairs in the living room were also super comfortable. They also had some nice throw blankets you could use while watching TV. There is no ice maker that works, so bring your own ice. Its not a super big cabin, but it had plenty of beds for everyone, and the outdoor deck overlooks a nice view of the water! You are about 25 minutes from the nearest grocery store, so make sure you stop at the Food Lion on the way in or you will have to make a one hour trip there and back for provision like we did. Overall, we had a great time--We will be back!"

We have an awesome Hawk family nesting in the back yard to watch! There is a beautiful lake view with large covered deck overlooking a lovely private cove! Our property offers the safety of a community but the privacy of a secluded getaway. No neighbors on top of you! There is a lovely TVA trail just past our drive you can walk down to fish. The spacious master suite offers a Jacuzzi tub , walk in shower, 46 inch TV, rocking chair and bench for just kicking back. The kitchen with breakfast bar, dining and living space flows right out through french doors to the large back deck overlooking the lake. The open concept promotes togetherness! Walk out the back and enjoy your own private camp fire. Second Bedroom offers queen size bed with full mirrors on his & hers closets next to the full second bath. There are two single memory foam mattresses which can be pulled out for kids or additional guests. New washer and dryer for your convenience & use. Access this home & back your car/truck/ boat right into the carport on a nice flat drive. (room for 2 boats w/ trailers.) We do not have a dock but Cedar Grove Marina is only two miles from the house and you can easily dock there for convenience. By popular demand WiFi has been installed!! Smoking urns are provided on the back deck but there is no smoking permitted inside. We thank you in advance for your co-operation and understanding.

Woodlake Golf & Country club is 15 miles away if you want to shoot a round of golf as well. We found a great Vineyard in Maynardville only about 15-20 minutes from the house. Go mountain biking, hiking, or hunting in Chuck Swan state forest which is also about 15 miles away. LMU is about 20 minutes, and the Cumberland Gap National Historic Park is only a half hour away! Explore! New Tazewell offers shopping and antique shops to browse. Tazewell Speedway has racing from May through October! Gatlinburg is less than 75 miles away and Knoxville is less than 40 miles if you are looking for more adventure! We are literally 11 minutes from town.

The kitchen had everything we needed to make a variety of meals, the bedrooms were comfortable (the bunk room was cozy small for 7, age 30ish adults), bathrooms were spread all over and the small suite over the garage worked well for a family of 6. Water was great fun and the dock and deck were used all day long. Owners lived adjacent to the rental, but we had everything we needed and no issues to get help with. The steps from the house to the water were numerous, but most of us went up and down as needed. Great house, great stay, great fun."

Whether you are a house-boater, skier, fisherman, sightseer, sunbather, or water sports lover, Norris Lake has it all. Norris Lake was created by the construction of the Norris Dam in 1936. This hydroelectric project was the Tennessee Valley Authority’s first. The lake’s beautiful blue-green waters span more than 800 miles of shoreline covering 34,000 acres. Norris’ boundaries extend up the Clinch and Powell rivers which feed Norris with clear, pristine waters. It’s an ideal environment for sportsmen and vacationers alike.

STAIRS ALERT: Please be aware that there are 250 +/- steps from the cabin to the dock (and back up again!!). Well worth the effort to get there and back, but we like to be sure our customers know this before committing to the rental.

This home is situated in a beautiful cove on Lake Norris. It has 2 bedrooms and the basement is a bunk area/game room. The upstairs has a king size bed in one of the rooms and the other room has a queen size bed, one full bathroom with shower/and tub , separate private hot tub house, porch, stairs to the dock, basement area with couches and three twin beds, with an extra twin mattress under one of the beds. There is high speed internet and Roku TV's in both upstairs bedrooms, in the living room area, and in the basement bunk room. Washer and Dryer are downstairs.

There are a lot steps but we managed just fine, even with our 2 pups they did great. We knew exactly what to expect. The second floor features a game room with large screen TV with surround sound. There are 3 King size bedrooms and a bunk room with 2 full size bunked beds. Laundry facility is also on this level. Large covered deck with gas fire pit and patio furniture. 2 bedrooms have deck walkouts.

The third floor features the second full kitchen with pub seating, 2 tables for 4. BONUS- ICE MACHINE. “Family Affair” is an enormous 5,000 square foot home with 15 beds (7 of which are King size beds). The lake house is located right on the water's edge!!! The entire house with all amenities are strictly yours to enjoy, this includes a huge private double level dock with two covered boat slips and a swim platform. The private boat ramp (for the gated community only) is only about 50 yards from house, so putting your boat in and out will be easy. Family Affair is about a five minute boat ride to the famous 'jumping bridge' and about six minutes to ski water.. Family Affair is ideal for family gatherings or entertaining large groups. Both kitchens are equipped with granite counter tops, refrigerators, dishwashers, stoves, ovens, and microwaves. With 8 bedrooms, 5.5 baths, plus four private vanities with sinks and mirrors (in four of the bedrooms), this huge house can accommodate up to 26 guests in beds. (7 king, 4 Twin, 4 full)
Located on an acre lot with more than 150 feet of private water frontage, “Family Affair” is built right on the lake shore as close to the lake as the Tennessee Valley Authority will allow. It has three furnished walkout decks overlooking a tranquil swimming cove where family and friends can float in the sun with no worry of speeding boats or big waves. The lowest of these three decks has a secluded 8 person hot tub for taking in the lake scenery while your relaxation is taken to a whole new level.
Take the steps from the lowest of the three walkout decks to your own private fire pit on the water’s edge. A good late night fire is a perfect way to end the evening next to the lake while telling everyone about your day at the jumping bridge (five minutes away by boat).
Finally, just a short distance from the fire pit, is one of the biggest private docks on the lake. The dock has two covered slips for your boats, two personal watercraft drive up docks, and a sunning deck. The second level of the dock is a gigantic 31’ x 31’ platform that sits 10 feet above the water. It’s a great place to play corn hole, take in the surrounding sites, or just relax in the sun.
“Family Affair” is located in Lakeside Estates, a gated community a few miles from I-75 and minutes from the city of LaFollette. You couldn't ask for a better location. The cove, where “Family Affair” is located, is a short boat ride to Sugar Hollow Marina, Shanghai Marina, and Springs Resort. These locations are conveniently close, but still far enough away as not to interfere with the tranquility and isolation of this wonderful lake home. Norris Lake is a boater's utopia spanning 5 Tennessee counties with more than 800 miles of shoreline. After 18 years of boating on Norris Lake, there are still many areas we have yet to explore. Norris Lake has over 20 marinas with fuel, food, and entertainment. These are great places to have a drink, watch the game, and to people watch. Many of these marinas have great food, especially fish dinners. If you haven't eaten the striper from Norris Lake you are missing what a lot of people consider the best tasting fish anywhere. The huge two level, two slip covered dock is in year round water, so you can boat and fish anytime of the year!! Many houses in coves loose their water in the fall when the lake is lowered, by mid September these homes can NOT be accessed by water. Typically, Family Affair can be accessed by water, all year round even though it is in a tranquil cove, this is unique!! If you plan on boating after September or before April please let us know and we will get the current lake level for you.

- "Our five family group fit nicely in the Family Affair lakehouse. The 6 queen beds in one unit is something I have never encountered when trying to book!!! The weather was beautiful for the first 3 days and then the rain hit us full force with local flash flooding on our lastt two days. The owner's responded quickly when we needed assistance regarding the possibility of extending the checkout time. The home is comfortably furnished and filled with things to do off the lake..... pool, air hockey, foosball, board games, etc. The two story dock is great for jumping, floating, and fishing fun. The kitchen is well equipped and we really enjoyed the large eating space that could accommodate all 16 of us for dinner time meals together. Awesome rental! 👍🏼👍🏼"
