Located in Logsdon Landing, a private gated development on an 18 acre peninsula in the Rock Creek area of Nolin lake. The home sits on a 2 acre lot on the tip of the peninsula allowing a panoramic view of the lake.

This 2 acre lot features a gently sloping walk to the cleared shoreline. There is natural flat landing at the waters edge where you can put kayaks in or tie off a boat. Located in a very quiet part of the lake makes it perfect for kayaking in the coves and even into the creeks that feed the lake. This is the perfect getaway for family gatherings or to just get away for a relaxing vacation

This seasonal lake view home boasts a fully furnished kitchen, beautiful hardwood floors, tiled bathrooms, and a gorgeous stone gas fireplace. Enjoy WIFI and streaming 200+ channels as well as hundreds of apps from your phone to the TV. There are lots of board games as well as a cozy space on the upstairs landing to read and relax.
Step outside to the covered wrap around porch with lots of seating and experience the peaceful scenic views and wildlife. The trails in this area have been a highlight and the guided horseback trips available at Double Js Stables (10mi away) are a frequent recommendation from our guests. When you seek the thrills of ATV riding, check out the nearby Blue Holler Off Road Park (11mi). If golf is more your speed, it is worth packing your clubs for a round or two of golf at nearby Shady Hollow 18-hole course, which is another hidden treasure for our area.

Nestled by the lake, this retreat boasts an Amish-built cabin, a kitchen house, and a two-bed bunkhouse, all linked by an expansive wrap-around deck for entertainment and relaxation. We've added a cozy screened deck, perfect for rainy days. It's an ideal, quaint setup for family getaways. The property features a wide walking trail to the redline, private gated entry, and ample parking. Nearby Ponderosa and Wax Marinas offer boat rentals and docks. The main cabin includes an upstairs master bedroom with a queen-sized memory foam bed and a comfortable full-sized memory foam sofa bed downstairs, alongside the only bathroom. The bunkhouse has one full bed and a large bunk bed with two full mattresses, complete with linens and towels. The kitchen house/dining area is fully equipped for all your culinary needs. Note that multiple stairs provide access to the buildings, which may be difficult for those with mobility issues. The cabins are secluded, offering privacy off a small road. Enjoy a charcoal grill (charcoal not included), a fire pit for evening gatherings and s’mores (firewood not provided), and a 6-person hot tub. While Wifi and TV streaming are limited, each building has an HDTV and DVD player. Cell service is reliable, and TVs can mirror your phone for streaming or play your DVDs. Dogs are welcome, with a limit of two pets. Guests have full access to the property, including the trail to the water's red line (a 9-minute walk). Be mindful of ticks outside the cabin and yard, as trails in the woods can overgrow. Additionally, there's a neighborhood dock and picnic area just an 8-minute walk away.

Lovely lakefront cabin for year round enjoyment! This home features 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths in a wonderful location on Nolin Lake. There is a cove located down a gradual path at the base of the property for swimming, fishing and boating. Amenities include kayaks, lily pad, board games, charcoal grill and fire pit.

We are just 40 miles from Mammoth Cave National Park.

Please note that Nolin Lake is owned by the US Army Corp of Engineers and is used for flood control. Lake access is best during the summer as the Corp lowers the lake (25 / 30 feet) starting mid October with lake levels returning mid April. Also, per the US Army Corp of Engineers, renters are not allowed to access the dock.

Every utensil and piece of cookware that we needed was available and clean. All of the beds were comfortable and clean. There are an abundance of windows which we took a vantage of being that the temperature was in the high 60s/low 70s. The back deck has two levels, and although we did not spend any time on the lower level, we loved the upper level. There is more than enough seating to accommodate any group. All of the furniture is nice and in good condition. We kept the fire pit going and there was plenty of firewood available. The neighborhood is very nice, and the area of the lake that we were on was ideal. It was a wonderful experience at a wonderful property."

The home features clean, modern furniture and appliances. Everything is brand new! Enjoy the coffee bar with over 20 varieties of coffee, hot cocoa and tea to drink. There's an enormous number of games and recreational activities provided including a fire pit, cornhole boards, a canoe, and a 60-game classic arcade machine. You won't have to bring much -- pretty much just your clothes, your meals, and your toothbrush (we even provide the toothpaste for you!) Household essentials such as laundry soap, dishwasher liquid, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash and much more are provided for free for guest use.
Nearby there are a few convenience stores, an ice cream shop and a bait store. A quick 20 minute drive will put you in Leitchfield, where there is a WalMart, lots of restaurants, a water park, and plenty of other stores in case you need something during your stay. Guests have full access to the entire property and house with the exception of a small owner’s closet in the basement. Guests are provided with the personal cell numbers of the owners for any questions they may have.

With nearly 3 acres of land to explore, you'll never get bored at Squatch Acres. Even in the winter, the woods are great for hiking and exploring. If you enjoy spotting wildlife, this is the spot for you. Among deer, raccoons and wild turkeys, you're also likely to see owls, groundhogs, bobcats, squirrels, chipmunks, cranes, hawks, eagles, and perhaps on an extremely rare occasion, even a black bear.
This is an extremely secluded property. The driveway is 1/2 mile long and the property is surrounded by woods owned by the Corps of Engineers (so you may freely explore those areas as well). While there is another property nearby, they are far enough away that you can enjoy total seclusion. You may see them drive by once per day (and often not at all). You can really enjoy total peace and quiet here, with only the sounds of nature and boats on the lake to enjoy.
The guest guide has a huge list of activities and places you can visit during your stay, such as Mammoth Cave. You will need a car to get to restaurants and stores; the only thing within walking distance is the lake.
Guests don’t need to rent a boat, the house comes equipped with a canoe! If you prefer motorized boats, nearby Wax Marina has plenty to rent.

This area of Clarkson is very friendly and extremely safe! Please note that this cabin has a seasonal lake view during the winter. You will need a vehicle to get to restaurants or to a store.
If you plan to visit during the winter, please check the forecast before you arrive. If snow or ice is predicted, we recommend using a 4x4 vehicle while here. To be fair, this area doesn't get much snow or ice though!
This property is only a few years old and everything is new, including the furniture, appliances and bedding. You’ll enjoy an exceptionally clean yet cozy environment. The owners are constantly adding new features and benefits for guests so each time you visit you can expect something new.
The property has 3 external cameras for security purposes. One points to the detached garage, one at the lake and one at the front door. As soon as guests arrive, the cameras are turned off completely. However, if guests prefer for us to keep them on for security purposes, just let us know prior to your arrival. There are no cameras inside at all. We respect your privacy!

The property was even better in person and SUPER clean. We overpacked because they really thought of everything, especially in the kitchen. We were greeted with a welcome bag full of goodies. There were also snacks which were a welcome site after our long delayed travels. The beds were comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the privacy having so much land. Walking to the lake/docks and jumping in was refreshing. There are many activities in the surrounding areas if you want to venture out. Glamping: Stay in our cozy 24X14 cabin which is fully electric - comfortable queen-sized bed with new mattress! Or enjoy primitive camping - 36 acres to explore.

Also a great outdoor event venue featuring 2 acres of flat, open space! Inquire with the owner about event rates.

Kayaking, Paddle-boarding:
Take the steps on our property to Nolin River and meander through the countryside in a canoe, kayak or on a paddle-board. Please bring your own watercraft. The walk from our cabin to the river takes about 10 minutes and includes steep terrain.

Boating:
Wax Marina and boat launch at Nolin Lake only a 12 minutes drive.

Fishing:
A stocked pond only steps away from cabin. You can walk around the entire perimeter of the pond on nice flat surfaces. We currently have lots of bluegill and a few bass in the pond. For the more experienced angler, fish all day on Nolin River (on property) or Nolin Lake (12 minute drive). Catch bluegill, bass, crappie, catfish and more and enjoy the scenic overlook.

Accommodations and amenities:
Cabin sleeps 5 people comfortably - two on queen sized bed and space for 2-3 kids in loft. A small kitchen table for eating plus coffee maker and a mini fridge for storing perishables. Kerosene heater available for exceptionally cold nights. Otherwise, the cabin has A/C or electric space heater (provided). Picnic tables and grill located outdoors. Yard hydrant with hose connected to county water located just outside of cabin.

Enjoy a quiet evening gazing at the stars around a bonfire at our large fire pit near the pond. Or take it easy on the covered deck attached to the pole barn only steps away from the cabin. Toilet and sink are located in the pole barn (cabin has no facilities).

There is a nice private open area just beyond the fire pit for nearly any activity or game. Play corn hole, throw a frisbee into the disc golf net, play kickball or bring an inflatable pool and fill it up with water from our hose and simply enjoy the peace and quiet this property has to offer. You can sleigh ride down the hill when it snows. Many options here!

Come out to the country and enjoy the fresh air and space to roam. You deserve it!

Secluded walk-out lake retreat on a private peninsula. Located near stores and the Wax Marina. This area is called "Wax" and is easily accessible from both I-65 and the Western KY Parkway. If you are looking for a nice private location near Mammoth Cave you found it!

The space
Walk-out basement level apartment has bedroom with queen Temper-Pedic bed, full bath with walk-in shower and heated floor, large open area with 4K 70" TV & Blu-Ray player. The kitchenette/wet bar has a small refrigerator, under-counter ice maker, Keurig & pods, microwave and toaster. There are large full length windows for a view of the woods/lake. A queen sleeper sofa can accommodate 2 additional guests. There is an outdoor shower for your use during the warmer months if you are so inclined.

Linens, towels, plates, glasses, cups, and silverware are provided, just pack your bag and cooler and head this way!

There is an outdoor grill with a side burner (No stove/oven), microwave, toaster, beverage fridge, small refrigerator and freezer, ice maker, Keurig® coffee maker, K-Cups® and bar sink for preparing simple meals. There is also fire pit outside - great for making S'Mores! Don’t worry, I keep plenty of split wood on hand.

I live on the top floor and a 3 car garage separates the spaces so noise is not an issue. Guests have a private entrance and can wander the yard and down to the farm. Cat and dogs provide hilarity, and a hammock hidden in the woods overlooking the lake is the perfect place for a nap in warm weather. No animals are permitted in the apartment for the health of all of our guests.

I also own the farm as you enter the neighborhood. A stocked pond is suitable for kids to fish (small bass and bluegill) and ducks, the farm is there to explore and enjoy. The barn offers a covered porch complete with a porch swing, rocking chairs, and ceiling fans.

No public transit is available, but we are just a mile from gas, groceries, and the Wax Marina

My property has water on 3 sides, it is located back in the woods and is very private. Perfect for a little quiet and solitude. It is a steep and rustic walk to the water behind the house, but our docks are across from the barn and offer a great place to swim or just float. The docks are handicapped accessible.

There are many places to visit nearby:

Mammoth Cave, the world's largest known cave system, is a 35 minute trip by car and includes a free ferry ride. Make sure you check for cave tour reservations prior to booking and the operational status of the Green River Ferry.

Glendale is a 35-minute drive and provides the Whistle Stop Diner and several antique shops along the quaint main street. For a little nicer dining, Tony York’s is an upscale “table cloth” restaurant.

Of course, the main feature is Nolin Lake. Boating, swimming, and fishing are close by. If you plan to rent a pontoon boat make sure to reserve it in advance, they book up quickly!

We are a short drive from some of the top Bourbon Distilleries in the world (Maker's Mark, Jim Beam, Heaven Hill, and several others) if you have time, they are worth the trip!

There are several restaurants within a 20-minute drive. The motel (Nolin Lake Lodge) is the nearest restaurant, you can look them up on social media. They usually have great specials!

If you are going to Mammoth Cave, please make reservations prior to finalizing your booking. The tours fill up fast, especially in the summer months. They do provide online booking of tours on their nicely done website. The ferry is usually available but can be closed during drought or heavy rains. There is a number to call for ferry status in the apartment.

As well as bugs of all sorts. This is their habitat, and we have no control over who of these countryside dwellers might visit you while on your stay!

Our place is also very remote, so if you’re looking for something more suburban, this may not be your place - we’re about 35 minutes off the highway, and 15 minutes to the closest grocery store.

Enjoy this peaceful lakefront home relaxing with family and friends. This home is located within a few hundred feet from a boat ramp and only 20 minutes to Leitchfield, KY. Take in the lakefront wooded views while sitting on a multitiered deck or inside from the sunroom full of windows. Many memories to be made with your family.

The space
Open concept living area on the first floor. Living room has a large sectional and rocker/recliner; the kitchen island has 4 counter stools; 1 full bath. A sunroom is located right off the kitchen complete with a coffee bar, additional sitting area, and dining table. A spacious covered/uncovered deck is located off of the sunroom with patio furniture, picnic table, and barbeque grill with propane. The backyard has 2 fire pits, gravel path to the lake, a tree swing, and plenty of room to play. All 4 bedrooms, 1 full bath, and laundry located on the top floor. There are 2 master bedrooms with queen sized beds (one bedroom has an office space), and 2 bunk rooms with a queen, full, and twin sized beds in each (each bunk room can sleep 5 guests). There are 5 smart tv's throughout the home. There is a covered top deck with patio furniture. There is plenty of parking in front of the home and across the street in front of the owners pole barn (guest will not have access to pole barn).

-No dock access. Docks are private property and renters are not allowed on the dock per the Army Corp of Engineers at Nolin Lake. Given this is an Army Corp of Engineer Lake, from October 15th to March 1st the Corp draws down the water for winter pool, leaving our cove dry. Directions to alternate ramps can be provided.
-Firewood provided for $8 per bag. (2 fire pits on property)
-Security cameras on the premises for the protection of our guests, neighbors, and property.

LONG TERM STAYS
-A starter pack of toiletries, trash bags, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent is provided which should accommodate approximately a week. If your stay is longer than a week, you will be held responsible for replenishing these items during your stay.
-If additional cleanings are needed, they would need to be arranged ahead of your stay and would be an additional charge.
-Trash is collected on Monday. Please have it in the bin and ready Sunday evening.

Per Army Corp of Engineers, no guests are allowed on the docks, as they are private property. Guests may walk down to the water and fish, drop kayaks, etc. Ponderosa boat dock is just a minute drive if you need to drop a boat or kayak in there.

Other things to note
You may NOT get on the docks at the end of our path, since they are private property. If you feel comfortable walking down to the water at the end of the path/near the docks, that is ok too to get in the water there.

I would highly recommend bringing a bug and tick spray.

Outdoor shower is seasonal. On from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day.

Please note that lake views vary season to season. Water does drop to “winter pool” on October 15th. Water starts to fill up again on March 15th. Certain times of the year show more water. Rainfall can also influence how much water is visible.
