- "We were super excited to stay at this house and have access to boat dock, traveling from Ohio with our boat. When we arrived we learned that lake was dropped 3 weeks prior and dock was dry docked, making not accessible. This was not communicated by property or listing We also learned once arriving that the bunk room was not attached to the main house. You had to exit the house and go down outdoor stairs to access. We also did not have keys that opened it. The property manager came to home and opened night of our arrival after calling The hot tub was not filled upon arrival Most bothersome is there were signs across the street that said short term rentals ruin neighborhoods. The second morning we were there I stepped onto back porch and was threatened by a man on a four wheeler screaming "go home." Again later in the day came back to drop things off and my husband was yelled at by same man "go home". After this occurred I did not feel comfortable having my children sleep in bunk room or to be outside or use hot tub Upon checkout he stood across the street and watched us pack the car I mean for a solid 45 min. It was threatening, he stared at me, my husband and children While it was a nice main floor house we will not be coming back The lake I will say is beautiful glad we had friends staying in another rental about 20 min away and we could use our boat there and spend our days there A lot of money spent to just sleep "

This home comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has two fully appointed bedrooms with full-size beds in each, a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo, a shared kitchenette and living room area with a pull-out sofa that sleeps two. We have thought of all the details to make this a perfect vacation spot for those wanting to relax, take a boat out, or fish. Gatlinburg, Dollywood and Pigeon Forge are about a 30-minute drive away.

We do have a full-service marina with boat launch, store, docks and wet-slips onsite as well as The Millstone Restaurant, which is a must when visiting!

Fishing is permitted from the banks. You can bring your own boat or you can rent a pontoon, golf cart, paddleboard or a kayak from us. Smoking is only permitted outside of the rentals. - "My barnmates and I stayed here for several days while showing horses nearby. The pictures were spot on and the home was clean and comfortable. Each bedroom had its own bathroom and the twin bedroom is on the lower level (with a gaming area), so everyone had their own space. A major plus: I do not do bugs (especially spiders), so I was delighted to discover that the pest control and cleanliness standards here were so good that in spite of the many many bugs out in the surrounding woods, we saw almost nothing in the house all week (for the equally bug phobic: two tiny millipede things that made it into the lower level before dying and a handful of spiders that even I can admit were extremely small). Lakeway is a completely remodeled home that sets on a hill overlooking beautiful Douglas lake with a public boat ramp only 6 min away. Come enjoy the abundance of deer and wildlife while sipping on your favorite beverage from the front porch. You can also set around the campfire in its own private setting in the back yard. If it's a chilly night take a dip in the hot tub. All bedrooms have smart tvs and high speed internet. It's a very cozy space and we take pride in It. This is a 2 bedroom 2 bath home but also has an addition that could be used as a 3rd bedroom with a futon. It sleeps 6 in total. The coffee bar is my favorite. We're sure you will enjoy your stay at lakeway.

This cozy cabin is perfect for a couple looking to escape the hustle and bustle but still be close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge if you want to ride over for the day or evening.

This is an open concept unit with a beautiful wall separating the bedroom area from the living room area. There are TV's built in both sides of the wall so you can watch television from either area.

This cabin does have Wi-Fi and we have sling on both TV's. You can also login to your favorite streaming platform while visiting.

There is a dedicated workspace, a full bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, towels and paper products.

In the kitchenette area you will find plates, utensils, silverware, cups, coffee maker, mini fridge, toaster over, pots, a 2 burner stove top and a spice rack.

This unit is located on Douglas Lake at Swann' s Marina and Campground. We have a full service marina with a boat launch, store, fishing and amazing restaurant onsite for those evenings you do not feel like cooking. We also offer pontoon and jon boat rentals as well as Kayak rentals.

We are located about 1 mile off of I-40 and within a 30-35 minute drive of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Also about 15 minutes from the new Bu-Cee's!

- "The boys loved the basement & it was so nice to have them downstairs! We fished and swam. The driveway might scare some but my buick enclave handled it well. My friends little car did great too. The view is beautiful ♡ the deive is beautiful also. We had 7 people and were not crowded at all" - "My husband, son(12), daughter(7) and myself had the most relaxing 5 days at this 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath cabin with a fully furnished basement. The long and winding road to the cabin is so serine and filled with native wildlife. Coming down to the cabin is a steep rock driveway, but nothing our SUV couldn’t handle. (I can see why 4 wheel drive is needed during the winter months.) Once you see the cabin it seems a bit small, compared to the grand view, but don’t let that fool you. Entering the keyless door into the cabin was a breeze. Then when your eyes see the first set of large French doors you are automatically drawn into the most cozy living room that faces the lake. The kitchen is ready to cook in and we even enjoyed the outdoor barbecue pit for some meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms had fresh linens and toilet paper. While my husband and I enjoyed the 1st level of the cabin the downstairs basement was a hit for our kiddos. They enjoyed having “their own part of the cabin” which is fully updated and clean. There is a set of bunk beds (top twin, bottom full) that my kiddos slept in. The full size bathroom with standing shower was wonderful, especially after coming in off the lake(fish, swim, kayak). A kitchenette with a sink and a full size fridge is also available in the basement, my kids loved having their own snacks available to them. Our solar and water tank system allow us to take this to where you want to be and not be confined to a particular location away from the mountains.
