“CRAZY BEAR COVE" is nestled in the Dandridge on Douglas Lake. It is situated on top of a hill and has access to your own private cove.

When you enter this 2700 square foot cabin, you will see the spacious great room with gorgeous vaulted wood ceilings and wood floors. This room offers a pool table, a large oversized comfy couch, a large flat screen TV with Blu-ray DVD (selection of DVD movies) for your enjoyment and complete cable package. For even more fun, there is a video game whiskey barrel table with 60 games, making the perfect place for socializing and making unforgettable memories!

The kitchen is very large with granite countertops, a full size refrigerator AND full size freezer, as well as a beverage fridge. There is a high bar with four bar stools and a large farmhouse table that can seat up to 10 people, accommodating your entire group for meals, conversation and fun! In the morning, enjoy a coffee from the complimentary coffee bar. From the kitchen, walk out the deck to start the gas grill or head down to the amazing fire pit to make S’mores and breathe in the fresh mountain air while gazing at the stars!

The master bedroom has a king bed, a flat screen TV, Blu-ray DVD player, couch and it’s own private bathroom. Walk out the master bedroom to the large screened-in porch with lots of comfortable seating. Enjoy your drinks on the Bistro table while having a view of the lake! The covered deck is especially nice if you get a little Tennessee rain.

The main level also offers two guest bedrooms, both with a king bed and a flat screen TV. Just outside each of the bedrooms, are two separate bathrooms with a shared shower/tub.

The beautiful loft overlooks the great room and sleeps 7, offering a bunk bed with a twin over queen, three twin beds and a twin trundle. Also, a TV area with video game port for kids to hang out (just bring your own game console).

You will find fun board games, card games, poker chips, and DVD's for your enjoyment along with high speed internet and 4/5 TVs have the largest Dish Network cable package. For those guests having to do some remote work we have a work zone station with a desk off the kitchen. Recently, hi-speed, fiber optic internet has been installed in the cabin. Please remember that you will be in the peaceful mountains and cell phone service can be spotty, however, the internet is fast and reliable!

Crazy Bear Cove is located about 35 minutes from Pigeon Forge, making it far enough away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to enjoy the attractions of the area. The drive is a beautiful one and you may even see a black bear with her cubs. Other attractions in the area include Clingman’s Dome (the highest point in TN) about 1.5 hours, Cades Cove about 1 hour and 45 minutes and various hiking trials which offer a varying degree of difficulty, some offering paved paths, and view of waterfalls.

This cabin is highly maintained and loaded with amenities. It is the perfect spot anytime of the year! The home is perfect for 2-3 families to share making it extremely affordable! You will make unforgettable memories at Crazy Bear Cove! You’ll enjoy it so much you will want to make this your yearly, home away from home! We are located in a fairly private area with retired couples around us. It is a very quiet neighborhood and the home is best suited for those who enjoy the same atmosphere.

Douglas Lake sits at the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains with over 60 miles/about 30,000 acres of water and is rated as one of the top 10 lakes in the Country for bass fishing. You will find also Crappie, Catfish and Bluegill……

The Cove seems like your own private playground. Our dock is the only in the cove so there is no need to worry about other boat traffic. You can float, boat, fish, paddle and swim until your heart is content. We do offer three kayaks for your use. You will have your own floating dock with swim ladder and a private pier with comfortable Adirondack chairs to relax and chill! Summer water depth in the Cove is 10 to 15 feet deep. The walk down to the water is mostly stoned and in a zigzag pattern to assist with the steepness of the hill, however, this is a “walk” for some. Bring your boat or rent a boat from one of the local marinas.

Once you make your way through the gated entrance take a left on the concrete, paved driveway as you make you assent to the house. The private driveway is at an incline to reach the cabin, and we recommend parking a maximum of 3 cars in the driveway. Guests also have access to the onsite, 220 V Tesla charger.

When you step through the door, enjoy the spacious kitchen, fully stocked and perfect for entertaining. You’ll find everything you need to cook a meal for everyone and more features including all stainless steel appliances, double sinks, and a wine cooler. Off the entrance you can also find a large cleaning closet with a stacked washer and dryer combo. Right off the dining room, the cabin opens up to the high-ceiling living room, complete with a mounted smart TV and grand, stone fireplace. Now, prepare to be blown away when you catch a glimpse of the mountain views from the large deck. You can enjoy the sunrise each morning sitting at a bistro table or head to the other side of the deck and retire with the sun each night hopping between the personal sauna and hot tub.

Speaking of resting up, there is plenty of space to turn in at the end of the day and recharge for the next adventure. You will feel so cozy when you come to relax in the luxurious Master and there is even plenty of space for two to get ready at the double vanity sink in the updated bathroom. Upstairs you will discover two queen size suites, bear suite and moose suite, that also provide daybeds and their own private balcony. Every room features smart TVs; electric, wall-mounted fireplaces; and updated, in-suite bathrooms. The final bedroom can be found on the lower level and it is all about the little ones. Double bunks, each with a full bed on the bottom and upper twin bed, is the perfect place for your kids to hangout. The lower level is not only there for the kiddos though! This beautifully decorated Park Model Cabin with a hot tub, sits right on gorgeous Douglas Lake. With a beautiful porch, Smart TV, gas grill, zero gravity chairs and fire pit just steps away from the shoreline, you may not want to leave!

This home comfortably sleeps 6 people. It has two fully appointed bedrooms with full-size beds in each, a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower combo, a shared kitchenette and living room area with a pull-out sofa that sleeps two. We have thought of all the details to make this a perfect vacation spot for those wanting to relax, take a boat out, or fish. Gatlinburg, Dollywood and Pigeon Forge are about a 30-minute drive away.

We do have a full-service marina with boat launch, store, docks and wet-slips onsite as well as The Millstone Restaurant, which is a must when visiting!

All linens, towels, soap, shampoo, conditioner, kitchen utensils, pots, pans, etc. are provided. This is definitely a beautiful little home away from home!

Fishing is permitted from the banks. You can bring your own boat or you can rent a pontoon, golf cart, paddleboard or a kayak from us. Smoking is only permitted outside of the rentals. We sell fishing licenses, bait, snacks, drinks and apparel at our Marina Store located at the end of the long dock.

This vacation cabin rental is situated on a quiet street at the end of the cul-de-sac. Access to the lake is a walk down a gravel drive which is also navigable by a 4 wheel vehicle if the walk is to much. The cabin is located in Paradise Landing and has a beautiful view of Douglas Lake. It is the perfect spot for a peaceful getaway any time of the year. The cabin has 3 1/2 bedrooms, 3 1/2 bathrooms. Perfect vacation for a single family or spacious enough for multi-family vacation. The cabin has wrap around porches and a deck off the upper level looking down the lake and a picture-perfect view of the mountains. The cabin has a very serene feeling as soon as you walk in the front door. The home has everything for a perfect Tennessee vacation. Douglas lake is a very active lake for fishing, to jet skiing, paddle boarding, kayaking or just laying on tubes or floats. A must see and a great family friendly vacation retreat!!

This cozy two bedroom one bath cabin is named "The Fisherman Cabin" because for over 50 years we have had generations of fishermen stay in this one! Each bedroom has 2 queen beds, there is a fully stocked kitchen, a living room area, a bathroom and a screened in porch on the back for relaxing and listening to the crickets in the evenings.

This rental has a gas grill, fire pit, smart TV's in all rooms and on the porch, free wifi (no password needed), a launch ramp, fully stocked store and restaurant on-site! We also offer boat and golf cart rentals onsite as well!

Fishing is allowed from the banks surrounding the marina! We are located about 30-35 minutes from Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and are located about a mile off of I-40.

➜ This property is not ADA compliant. There are 2 steps required to enter the property. However, there are two bedrooms & a full bathroom located on the main level. Additionally you can drive and park near the lower level which have access without stairs

☀ Do you need to bring your own linens?
➜ No, no and absolutely not! We will provide sheets, towels, washcloths, etc so that you can fill your bags with more exciting things!

☀ What other amenities do you provide?
➜ We provide full bottles of soap, shampoo and conditioner in every bathroom. We also provide ample trash bags for the kitchen & bathrooms. Additionally, we provide a starter set of the following items that you might want to bring or purchase extra, depending on your length of stay: Toilet paper, paper towels, dishwasher pods, & laundry pods.

☀ Where can I rent a boat?
Several locations to rent paddleboards and other various boats and jet skis are nearby. The closest is H2O Water sports, just down the street from home.

☀ Can I dock my boat at the house?
If you would like to bring your own boat, there are several places it can be put in the water within 10 minutes of the home, and can be secured to our dock for the entirety of your stay.

☀ Is there good fishing nearby?
Yes! Douglas lake has almost 600 miles of shoreline and is rated one of the best bass fishing lakes in the Country.

Important Notes:
Dock is a lovely walk down a winding path in the backyard some people choose to rent an Atv/UTV/Golf cart to make it easy to get down to the lake (easily rentable from Good Ole Boys nearby they drop off at the house)

The lake lowers in the Winter months, it varies due to precipitation and according to the TVA controls. Dock is typically floating March - Oct. Water typically begins filling in March in our cove. However this is TVA controlled and we cannot make promises on water levels. Check the TVA site for current and expected conditions by time of year.

Our close cabin is immersed in nature which most love! However, this means there is lots of wildlife in our area - black bears, deer, wild turkeys, raccoons, coyotes, fox, and more! You may get lucky and catch a glimpse of one of these residents while enjoying the view. We also contract regular monthly pest services which treat for all pests from multiple types of bugs, mice, etc. Despite our regular treatments, given the our wooded location, it is possible these pests can temporarily enter the cabin. We immediately respond and treat if anything comes up and have found it is rare to come across anything like this.

- "Smoky Lake cabin checked all the boxes for our family. The kitchen is well appointed. Absolutely stunning views of Douglas Lake from the decks of each of the three levels. Pool table, arcade game and hot tub were added bonuses. Although the architecturally pleasing spiral staircase is a plus, it is very steep (both up to master suite and down to the game room/ guest bedrooms). It would be difficult for small children and people with health challenges. The master suite is very large and could easily accommodate a pack and play (Bring baby gates if this is a consideration due to steep staircase and no door to master suite). The home is located on a hill above Douglas Lake. It is a VERY steep longish walk down to the lake. Worth every step in our opinion but something to note if traveling with small children or adults with limited mobility. We swam and enjoyed using the dock, saw deer, a bald eagle and lots of other wildlife. If bringing a boat: The driveway would accommodate the truck and trailer. Some of the roads to the home are very narrow and curvy to navigate. Would likely recommend launching and keeping the trailer at the nearby marina. (About 20 minutes away). Another plus for our family is the fairly rural location, yet only an hour or so to Sevierville and Knoxville. "

This cozy cabin is perfect for a couple looking to escape the hustle and bustle but still be close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge if you want to ride over for the day or evening.

This is an open concept unit with a beautiful wall separating the bedroom area from the living room area. There are TV's built in both sides of the wall so you can watch television from either area.

This cabin does have Wi-Fi and we have sling on both TV's. You can also login to your favorite streaming platform while visiting.

There is a dedicated workspace, a full bathroom stocked with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, towels and paper products.

In the kitchenette area you will find plates, utensils, silverware, cups, coffee maker, mini fridge, toaster over, pots, a 2 burner stove top and a spice rack.

This unit is located on Douglas Lake at Swann' s Marina and Campground. We have a full service marina with a boat launch, store, fishing and amazing restaurant onsite for those evenings you do not feel like cooking. We also offer pontoon and jon boat rentals as well as Kayak rentals.

We are located about 1 mile off of I-40 and within a 30-35 minute drive of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Also about 15 minutes from the new Bu-Cee's!

- "The boys loved the basement & it was so nice to have them downstairs! We fished and swam. The driveway might scare some but my buick enclave handled it well. My friends little car did great too. The view is beautiful ♡ the deive is beautiful also. We had 7 people and were not crowded at all" - "My husband, son(12), daughter(7) and myself had the most relaxing 5 days at this 2 bedroom, 2-1/2 bath cabin with a fully furnished basement. The long and winding road to the cabin is so serine and filled with native wildlife. Coming down to the cabin is a steep rock driveway, but nothing our SUV couldn’t handle. (I can see why 4 wheel drive is needed during the winter months.) Once you see the cabin it seems a bit small, compared to the grand view, but don’t let that fool you. Entering the keyless door into the cabin was a breeze. Then when your eyes see the first set of large French doors you are automatically drawn into the most cozy living room that faces the lake. The kitchen is ready to cook in and we even enjoyed the outdoor barbecue pit for some meals. The bedrooms and bathrooms had fresh linens and toilet paper. While my husband and I enjoyed the 1st level of the cabin the downstairs basement was a hit for our kiddos. They enjoyed having “their own part of the cabin” which is fully updated and clean. There is a set of bunk beds (top twin, bottom full) that my kiddos slept in. The full size bathroom with standing shower was wonderful, especially after coming in off the lake(fish, swim, kayak). A kitchenette with a sink and a full size fridge is also available in the basement, my kids loved having their own snacks available to them. Welcome to Knasgowa! - Knasgowa, meaning "Heron" in the Cherokee language, symbolizes peace and harmony. We decided to name the cabin as a tribute to these birds that often fish behind the cabin.

This private (Direct Access) lakefront retreat features 3 king bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and 2 dogs. Situated on 8 private waterfront acres with just a few steps to Douglas Lake makes the backyard truly feel endless.

Driveway At The Lake House
* The driveway is steep but there is plenty of space to use as a turn around to pull down the driveway driving forward and turn around at the base of the driveway to pull out forward. In the winter time, 4WD might be needed if there is snow or ice on the driveway.

Small Kids
* We provide a pack and play and high chair.

* Your lock code will be sent to you 24 hours prior to your arrival. You do not need to pick up any keys.

In order to receive this discount, you must make your reservation first then send us a message with a copy of your proof of service. The name on the reservation and payment must match the name on the proof of service. We will then refund 5% of the accommodation back to you in the resolution center the day of your check in.

- "The drive was easy once we tackled the steep driveway for the first time. Such an easy check in. Very clean home. Comfortable beds. The Pac Man table video game was a hit with my sons. We do wish the hunting arcade game that was shown in the online listing pictures was working. The hot tub was nice once we balanced the chemicals in it as the PH was really high and there was no chlorine / bromine tablets in the dispenser . And although this is a lake house, it would be beneficial to those who book this to know when the lake levels will be high enough to enjoy the lake. We did not do our research and were not aware the area around this house would be dry because the water was just starting to be released at the dam "

- "While we didn’t use all the amenities, there were plenty. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, the towels were plentiful, large and moisture wicking and the furnishings were comfortable. The host emailed after arrival to check that everything was fine. The house has a beautiful view and is a truly wonderful place to stay. We will book with them again."
