- "Location" - "Lovely location. I enjoyed being in the middle of nature. The view from the dining room was terrific. I heard a brown thrasher singing when I came out of my room in the morning! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower just right. The hot breakfast in the morning was exceptional for being a complementary breakfast. I took the one mile loop walk that was close to the lodge and although I enjoyed the walk, the trail needs some attention. It has eroded in places causing it to be somewhat treacherous, especially near the lake. One false step and I would be in the water!"

The lodge and rooms were clearly built a while back, but everything is clean and very comfortable. All utilities work perfectly, and the WIFI is actually MUCH better than most nice hotels I stay at. They have a restaurant on site as well and offer amazing home cooked meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! If you're looking for a nice get away and comfortable atmosphere, this is definitely the place to come. I can only imagine what this place will be like in summer time.
