So tucked away we missed the gravel driveway the first time. ;) My friend who came is really into bird watching and was amazed on how many birds she saw and heard in the property. Besides hitting downtown Paducah, we also drove to Vienna, IL for a really fun tunnel, and trestle bike ride on Tunnel Hill State Trail. Go to Vienna Diner after. Another recommendation is Freight House for dinner in Paducah. Really really good food! The only thing missing from the house is a toaster. Everything well was great."

The apartment is located at the top (2nd floor) of a building built in 1901! This totally cool all brick building is only accessible by stairs, sadly there is no elevator. Once inside, everything is all one level.

You are a 2 minute walk from Harrah's Casino, Less than a 5 minute walk to the giant Superman statue and Fort Massac State Park is a 4 minute drive.

BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:

This 2 bedroom apt has queen beds. One bedroom has a full en suite bathroom.

The other bathroom has a full glass shower and claw foot tub. Both have beautiful vanities with back lit LED mirrors and Bluetooth speakers in the ceiling.

The entire apartment has a water softener. Hair dryers, body wash, shampoo & conditioner are provided.

MAIN AREAS:

The kitchen and dining area has a table with seating for 4. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need.

The living room has a large flat screen TV. Log into all of your streaming apps, or watch Direct TV cable.

Built in 1882, this studio apartment boasts of brick walls, original wood floors, and a claw foot tub. A king-sized bed, 3 twin couch beds, a dining room table that seats 8, a full bathroom with walk-in shower, (a full bathroom with claw foot tub downstairs) and a full kitchen occupy the studio apartment located upstairs from our event venue in this historic building. There will not be an event (wedding shower, birthday party, rehearsal dinner, etc) scheduled on the same night that the guesthouse is reserved. Situated in the heart of Paducah, many excellent restaurants, original to Paducah, are within walking distance. Boutiques and antiques are also “just around the corner.” The Carson Center is one block away which overlooks the Ohio River. The National Quilt Museum is just a 5 minute walk away. Because of the steps and breakable items, we only accept reservations for families with children over 12 years of age or infants under 4 months.

- "Very restful & peaceful stay!" - "Was a lovely B&B. Nicely decorated and comfortable. The room was very nice and clean (as was the entire place nothing was dirty anywhere we went inside) The bed was firm but very comfortable. The bathtub was amazing, even though the controls took a minute to figure out, great water pressure in the shower and great fluffy towels. Never seen anyone else the entire time we were there, which was fine with us! The only thing we did not "love" was the parking on the street. Some of the street area is pretty dark. We did not partake in the breakfast, but did receive vouchers that we used at the gold rush cafe. The billiards room is nice. The in room refrigerator was adequate but did not keep our drinks supercold and it could really use an in room microwave. But thats just nitpicking. I would absolutely stay here again or recommend it to others."

In downtown Paducah you will find more restaurants, bars and the Riverwalk along with some historical sites such as the Paducah Wall to Wall Murals, Lloyd Tilghman House & Civil War Museum and the Quilting Museum. Downtown Paducah also has the Carson Center where concerts are hosted. If you are looking for some fun, we are a 20 minute drive to Harrah's Casino in Metropolis…and you can stop by the Superman museum and statue! If you are looking for some outdoor beauty, stop by Bob Noble Park featuring a 5 acre lake, playground and skatepark. Are you a wine lover? The house was clean and had plenty of towels. The WiFi password was easy to find. The street noise was a little loud at first but we quickly tuned it out. The neighborhood was relatively quiet and I felt very safe. We entered the property from the back alley driveway but it was easy to get to. We didn't do laundry but there was a washer/dryer set with pods to use. I would recommend this location for a long weekend."

Large windows throughout the home flood the space with natural light on sunny afternoons! Kick back in the living room and watch your favorite shows on the flat-screen TV or use the wireless internet access to plan out the next day's activities.

It is a cozy, small house in a rural area but on main highway. It is surrounded by fields and is very quiet and relaxing. The back yard has a small goldfish pond with a waterfall in the spring and summer. There is patio table with chairs to sit and relax.

Though it is rural area it is within a short drive to restaurants and stores and 30 minutes from larger cities.

The Peery House is our family home-place, built circa 1900, transformed into a quaint Airbnb. It is located on our farm, Springhill Family Farms in Western KY and is a great place for someone looking to get away from the busyness of life, looking for rest and relaxation or just looking for a unique, little farmhouse while passing through the area.

We remodeled the house but wanted to keep the charm and feel that has always been here.

We do keep bottled water, juice, coffee, cream, snacks and breakfast pastries for our guests to enjoy. With dining options limited due to the rural area, as a certified culinarian, I offer cooked meals tailored to our guests upon request for an additional charge.
