Whether you are returning to our lake house yet again or coming for the first time, we promise that this cabin will be a dream come true! It offers a romantic setting for just the 2 of you or a chance to spend some quality time together as a family.

Third-Party Bookings: Guests booking on behalf of another guest staying on the property are solely responsible for any damages to the space. All guest names (First and last) must be included on the reservation. The booking party is responsible for sharing all house rules and access information with the staying guest.

When we were looking for a cabin on Lake Cumberland we had 3 requirements. 1) Great lake views during all 4 seasons. 2) A location that seemed secluded but was close to all that Somerset has to offer. 3) An environment that allowed us to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of daily life in order to focus on what is truly important- our marriage and our family of 5.

This cabin is a home run if you are looking for the same things as we were. Imagine waking up in the morning to the birds chirping in the woods surrounding the cabin, fixing a cup of coffee, and relaxing on the deck that provides one of the best views you will ever experience on Lake Cumberland. Imagine opening up the windows in the sunroom and feeling the breeze coming off the lake while you relax on the couch and read a great book or take an afternoon nap. Important Note:
We have four security cameras on the outside of our home. We have two stationed to overlook our exterior doors and two that face towards the outside of the home and focus on the perimeter of our property. There are no recording devices inside the home or in private spaces.

Are your rates negotiable?
Unfortunately, no. You can't put a price on great memories! We extend a 10% discount on all stays 7+ nights or more and a 15% discount on stays 28+ days or more. The discount will automatically be applied at the checkout screen.

Does the property have direct lake access?
Since the corps of engineers took over ownership of the shorelines of Lake Cumberland decades ago in order to ensure the preservation of its natural beauty, very few properties on the lake have direct lake access. Our property is no exception. Our family typically goes to nearby Lee's Ford Marina (1.5 miles away) and rents a pontoon boat to enjoy the many coves that dot the shoreline of Lake Cumberland.

I work remotely, is there wifi?
Yes, we provide wifi in all of our listings. We have hosted several remote workers over the years and have not had a report of weak wifi.

Is there anywhere to store luggage before check in or after check out in case I’m not able to check in early or check out late?
Unfortunately, we are unable to accept and hold luggage for guests.

Can I bring my pet?
We love our furry friends but we ask for guests to make other arrangements for their pets while visiting our home.

Where is the nearest grocery store?
Kroger is our favorite & closest grocery store. Kroger is 14.8 miles away from the listing.

How do I check in?
We have electronic locks at our listings. Guests will be provided with their unique access code on the morning of their arrival.

What are the closest marinas?
Lee's Ford Marina is just down the road (1.5 miles) and Burnside Marina is 9 miles away. Both marinas have a boat ramp, boat rentals, restaurants, and beautiful settings.

How many parking spots are available?
There are 2 official parking spots, and one is large enough for a boat to be parked if needed. There is also a long driveway that could be used for additional parking if needed.

Lake Cumberland Resort, Kentucky's finest gated community, boasts three swimming pools (one of which is right across the drive from our house) and a tennis court. All of this is on a 1000 acre peninsula that is shared with the Daniel Boone National Forest.

Luxury abounds in this 2800+ square foot home which includes four bedrooms and three and a half baths. The large master suite has a king-size bed, electric fireplace and a walk-in closet. The spacious master bath contains a two-person JETTED TUB, shower, and a double vanity. Three other comfortable bedrooms offer queen beds, and one has its own individual bath.

Many extras will make your stay more enjoyable including two large decks, one with a four-to-six-person HOT TUB, fully equipped kitchen with seating and service for up to ten, fully equipped laundry room, 65-inch smart TV in the great room, stone gas fireplace, queen size inflatable bed, professional Connelly pool table, five televisions with DVR, and large GAS GRILL.

Also, make sure you include bath soap when you pack, because that is not included in the bathrooms. The road from the main road to the house is a bit scary with no guardrails in most sections and is around 7 miles long. We had some storms and lost electricity one night, but it was restored within the hour. As far as the host, he was very communicative and sent lots of information about the area, which made the trip planning a lot easier. We hiked, went tubing and rafted under the falls. We definitely enjoyed our stay!"

This family friendly 2 bed, 1 bath lakefront cottage is located directly on the Somerset/Burnside line. Amazing restaurants like Guthrie’s Grill and Reno’s are just a mile away. Burnside Marina is 2.5 miles away, however there is a seasonal neighborhood boat ramp approximately 1 mile from the house. The massive deck and firepit area are great for relaxing with a good drink after spending the day on the lake. It’s perfect for grilling and listening to the boats go by. Grab a book and relax in the hammock! One bedroom has bunks with full beds on the bottom. Queen bed in the second bedroom. Pack N Play is available for the little ones. Full washer and dryer. WiFi available. There is NO cable, however there is a smart TV that any of your favorite streaming apps can be accessed on. We leave Netflix, Disney+, and Prime logged in for our guests. There is no direct access from the house to the lake. The house is located on a steep cliff overlooking the lake. Boat not included. The neighborhood boat ramp is seasonal as the water levels are usually lowered in the fall and winter.

Our property is only one mile away from Rattlesnake 192 and ten minutes from the Rattlesnake Souvenir Shack. Laurel Lake beach and boat launches are about 20-25 minutes away, and there is space on the property to park a boat if needed. 45 minutes to Sweeties Ice Cream.

READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE! All of our listings offer some privacy, but this is a multi-site space in a small lake community so you will not have entire seclusion. There are several fire pits on the property for you to enjoy campfires. Please use these designated spaces and do not create new ones for fires. However, you are welcome to bring your own self-contained fire pit.

*Firewood available for purchase on the honor system, located by the bathhouse for $6/bundle CASH ONLY.
There is a gas grill, located by the bathhouse for cooking.

You have a gorgeous lake view from the property, but no easy lake access direct from the property. There is a community-shared access trail to the lake. A few things to note: the decline is fairly steep, you’ll want to wear good shoes to get down due to rocks and some debri left by other (not so thoughtful) users, grab the camp
chairs we leave under your bed (make sure to bring them back with you). However, the end result is a beautiful shore-side view of the lake with the perfect rock ledge to dip your toes or go for a swim!
You also can visit Pulaski Co. Park for a day at the “lake beach” or Somersplash water park for some fun in the sun if you are coming without a boat.

Our shared bathhouse features two private bathrooms that each include a shower, toilet, sink, and electrical outlets. You will need to provide your own towels, washcloths, and toiletries.

Since we are located right on Lake Cumberland, on a wooded lot, you will likely encounter insects and wildlife. Be prepared for any of the following: ticks, mosquitos, deer, and snakes. We have also had a bear enter the property through our infamous neighborhood "bear hole" on our adjoining property in the past.

Please leave your pets at home. (NO PETS) Our neighbors have dogs, as do we, that you can love on if needed!

Our cozy cabin is located on Lake Cumberland in Monticello close to Somerset and two great marinas, Conley Bottom being our favorite! We have partial lake views in the fall, winter and spring and a hot tub on the deck to enjoy the views, along with the fire pit below. We have 2 bedrooms, one bathroom and a pull out couch. The large wrap around deck is perfect for playing games and hanging out. Please note there is no lake access from the property.

Our tiny home on the lake, "Bear Necessities," provides plenty of space and amenities to enjoy the outdoors with a beautiful lake view of Lake Cumberland, Kentucky. All beds have sheets, pillows, and blankets. This tiny home is furnished with a queen bed, a full bed, a heat/A.C. unit, a small refrigerator, microwave, apartment size stove top/oven, and coffee/tea maker.

The space
“Bear Necessities" is a newly constructed tiny home, that provides extra space to enjoy the outdoors. This home can accommodate up to 4 people. First floor bedroom has a queen bed with linens. The loft includes a full bed that is accessible by wooden ladder style steps. Your private bathroom and kitchen are located on the first floor with all the basic necessities included. You have 4 towels/washcloths are included with your stay. If you need additional please remember to bring those with you to make your stay more comfortable.

Our glamp-ground boasts a two stall family style bathhouse for additional convenience.

READ FULL DESCRIPTION BEFORE BOOKING, PLEASE! All of our listings offer some privacy, but this is a multi-site space in a small lake community so you will not have entire seclusion. There are several fire pits on the property for you to enjoy campfires. (Your private pit is just steps away from your door) Please use these designated spaces and do not create new ones for fires.

*Firewood available for purchase on the honor system, located by the bathhouse for $6/bundle CASH ONLY.

There is a gas grill, located by the bathhouse for cooking in the great outdoors.

You have a gorgeous lake view from the property, but no easy lake access direct from the property. There is a community-shared access trail to the lake. A few things to note: the decline is fairly steep, you’ll want to wear good shoes to get down due to rocks and some debri left by other (not so thoughtful) users, grab the camp chairs we leave under your bed (make sure to bring them back with you). However, the end result is a beautiful shore-side view of the lake with the perfect rock ledge to dip your toes or go for a swim!

You also can visit Pulaski Co. Park for a day at the “lake beach” or Somersplash water park for some fun in the sun if you are coming without a boat.


Since we are located right on Lake Cumberland, on a wooded lot, you will likely encounter insects and wildlife. Be prepared for any of the following: ticks, mosquitos, deer, and snakes. We have also had a bear enter the property through our infamous neighborhood "bear hole" on our adjoining property in the past.

Please leave your pets at home. (NO PETS) Our neighbors have dogs, as do we, that you can love on if needed!

There is graveled parking located at the front of the property. Plenty of room for your boat and jet ski trailers!

You can pull into the second driveway on the left, by the green bath house to allow for closer proximity for unloading. After unloading, please park your vehicle in the graveled parking lot located at the front of the property.

Absolutely NO SMOKING inside or on porches of any of the structures on the property, including tents, bathhouses, cabins, etc. Smoking area is around firepits!

The space
The Round house is a 3 bedroom, 2 full bath lakehouse on Lake Cumberland. The street has 50 houses on it and the house is towards the end of the dead end street.

The boat ramp is one mile from the house. It is used for launching boat, you are unable to tie up to it. The ramp is wide and not too steep, easy for launching boat.

The driveway at the house is double wide. It is 45 feet long. If your boat cannot fit when attached to vehicle, you can unhook boat and park next to it. We also own the house next to the Roundhouse and you can park vehicles in that driveway.

Charming private cottage in a gated Community at Lake Cumberland Resort, this 3-level home sits on 2 acres inside in the Daniel Boone National Forest & has fantastic reviews. Gather around a campfire pit under the stars, or hike over a hundred miles of trails that literally start in your back yard. The space
As you walk into this leafy cottage retreat, cut into a hillside on a private tract of land surrounded by nearly a hundred acres of wooded natural preserve, stop and listen: You’ll see and hear woodland songbirds in the not-so-distant trees, just off the back deck. The low rush of the wind blows through this natural wind tunnel, flowing through the trees like a life-sized meditation soundtrack. What you won’t hear is people, traffic, and noise.

Indoors the cabin feels calm and relaxing, as the muffled nature sounds are a pleasant backdrop to cozy, sunlit rooms. Relaxing around the 15 foot wood burning fireplace as the rain falls softly on the metal roof. An airy double-deck, sets the tone right away, and natural cypress wood siding gives it a seasonal vibe.

The Hot tub, 6’ grill, fire pit & outdoor fireplace are the places you’ll create the memories to take home with you. Leaving refreshed, and focused on your perspective, take a moment to stop, and reflect back to the simpler times of peaceful tranquility.

New cottage finished in 2024 located in Burnside KY at Lake Cumberland with a boat ramp within 3 miles. It is in a resort area which gives you access to resort amenities including a pool (open from Memorial Day to end of Sept), boat slip, tennis court, and small game room/arcade.

The space
Welcome to our brand new 3-bedroom, 2 full bathroom cottage located in Somerset/Burnside, KY. It is located on a dead-end street which means no car traffic to worry about. There is plenty of parking on the nice wide flat gravel driveway that is about 85-100 ft long so plenty of room for multiple boats and vehicles. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the utensils and pots and pans you should ever need. There is also a drip coffee maker along with regular and decaf coffee. The kitchen opens into an informal dining area and a living room. With the dining table and kitchen bar, there is plenty of seating for sitting down to enjoy meals with family and friends. There is also a covered porch which is a perfect place to sit out in the morning and enjoy your coffee. Attached to the porch is a patio that includes some additional seating along with a propane grill.

Bedroom 1 includes a queen bed, bedroom 2 includes a queen bed, and bedroom 3 includes a bunk bed with a twin on top and a full size on bottom along with an extra twin bed. This means comfortable sleeping for up to 8. Bathroom 1 includes a tub/shower combo and bathroom 2 includes a walk-in shower. There is also a washer and dryer, and we leave enough laundry pods to get you started. The resort also has a separate laundry room near the pool if you were to need it for any reason which does require quarters.
