8. If you fill a bag of trash during your stay, please take it out. Garbage containers are outside in the front of the building. Please do not put any loose garbage in the container outside, must be bagged. Trash is picked up on Wednesdays.
9. Please clean up any liquid spills quickly to prevent damage to hardwood floors. This includes any water in bathroom.
10. No burning candles.

Nearly 1600 sq ft plus huge covered deck overlooking the cove between Burnside Island and Burnside. This home sleeps up to 8. Master with memory foam King mattress/bed and full bath with both shower and soaking tub. Guest bedrooms feature queen beds and we also have two twin mattresses (in bedroom 3 closet) to get to 8 guests. Kitchen is fully equipped with regular range/oven, huge refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave. It is also stocked with all dishes, silverware, pot/pans, skillets, toaster, coffee maker, everything you need for a week or weekend at the lake. There is also a full size washer and dryer and all linens and towels are included. Large dining room with 6 chairs. Great room with 47" mounted flat screen and master with 32" both ROKU streaming. The covered deck has 2 picnic tables and additional chairs along with gas grill and hammock. This was our second home and we loved the location enough we built our retirement home next door.

Lake Cumberland is a fisherman’s paradise. You can fish from your boat, from the banks of Burnside Island numerous other area located just minutes away from the property. Lake Cumberland is home to two Kentucky state parks: Lake Cumberland State Resort Park and General Burnside State Park.

Our fifth house we chose to add to Lake Vista Properties. We chose this house for its unique A-frame style and the wall to wall glass that makes up the back of the house. The view of Lake Cumberland is amazing at certain times of the year. Therefore, we named the property Window Lake.

The majority of the home is lined in cedar. The main level holds a full size bathroom with a washer and dryer, a bedroom with a queen size bed, kitchen, and living area that also has plenty of extra room for a blow up mattress that is provided.. Deck access is off the living area. A set of stairs takes you to the loft that holds a king bed and has access to a small Juliet deck that faces the front of the property.

Window Lake sits on an acre and a half and plenty of room to enjoy the outside with play. A fire pit area is located in the perfect spot to be able to enjoy the lake view at dusk. Parking space is available on the driveway which has been recently modified to accommodate a boat and trailer, there is also a covered shelter to park underneath.

Lake Cumberland is the primary attraction in the area. However, we are also centrally located to the General Burnside Island State Park, Cumberland Falls, Daniel Boone National Forrest hiking and bike trails, and several breweries and wineries!

Professionally Cleaned and Sanitized, this home boasts soaring ceilings in the foyer, spacious room for the entire family and a deck that spans the entire back of the home!
