- "Location" - "Lovely location. I enjoyed being in the middle of nature. The view from the dining room was terrific. I heard a brown thrasher singing when I came out of my room in the morning! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the shower just right. The hot breakfast in the morning was exceptional for being a complementary breakfast. I took the one mile loop walk that was close to the lodge and although I enjoyed the walk, the trail needs some attention. It has eroded in places causing it to be somewhat treacherous, especially near the lake. One false step and I would be in the water!"

- "Lots of room. Interesting decor. Kids loved playing in the creek behind the house. 30 minutes from Carter Caves. Very clean. High winds took out the electric during our stay. Host offered a generator, but with babies, we decided we should leave. We would stay again." - "Very comfortable. Loved all the couches. I spent much of my time in the kitchen cooking for the family. No cookie sheets, one casserole pan, one crockpot, limited pots and pans. Handheld can openers did not work very well. All drinking glasses were stemware style, the kids had difficulty with that. Homeowners were fabulous in every way. We would defiantly stay again and would recommend to family and friends."

Stones were not compacted and it would have been a much nicer site if they were. In all fairness, nice place to camp. WiFi sucked but that was probably more to do with location since cell service was just as bad in that area." - "Was a little mislead with pictures of SXS in drive way thinking u could ride to rush on the roads. There is no SXS riding on paved roads in the area. We was lucky that we didnt get caught the first day we road to rush and had to be picked up to get back to camping spot or we would have got SXS impounded. When ther is any event going on at rush u can count on at least 5-10 cops and any given time on paved road to Rush so be sure to haul to SXS to Rush"

The upstairs is suitable for children ages 6-14 but not adults. The cabin is very nice and well supplied with all essentials. "

Private cabin located in campground close to bathhouse. A/C and electric fireplace. Porch swing, fire ring, & picnic table for your outside enjoyment. Queen size bed with full size bed in loft overhead. Microwave & small refrigerator. Dining table with 3 benches. Comfortable sitting chair with footstool. Fishing included in our 12-acre lake. Walking path runs the length of the campground.

Campground has 12-acre fishing lake. Cabin does not have running water inside but is located just steps away from clean bathhouse and an outdoor water hydrant. A short distance from basketball court and life size chess set. Paved walking path that runs the length of campground.
