He offered many suggestions to make our stay pleasant. When we returned from one of his restaurant suggestions we mentioned the food was great , but the service wasn’t very welcoming. He said that was unacceptable and within a few minutes got back to us saying the entire meal cost was going to be refunded. The Derby room was very large and comfortable. The home is very charming as you can see from the pictures and the staircase makes you feel you are stepping back into a gilded age. And the breakfast was so delicious I wished we could have stayed much longer. I will definitely stay here again."

The space
The owner has traveled extensively and the interior is lined with travel-books and artifacts to explore while you stay. Up to four guests can stay, with a queen-size bed, daybed, and trundle (both twin beds). Guests enjoy the quality of the bedding and other touches here. The space is complete with full bath, TV, Coffee service, microwave, mini fridge, large-screen TV, and other amenities. The two guest-rooms are connected without a door, to make a large space and while comfortable, is quite cozy.
Sit on the front porch and watch neighbors walk dogs or just enjoy the evening. Couvillion restaurant is right across the street for brunch, happy hour, or a nice evening meal and several other restaurants and fun bars are a short walk. My guests are kept informed from the moment a reservation is made until the end of their stay, and I am always available to answer questions or provide insights into events and other activities in Louisville or on the Bourbon Trail if traveling further.

Located in historic Winchester, Carriage House Gardenside offers easy access to Lexington, the Kentucky Horse Park, Keeneland Race Course, the Bourbon Trail and Red River Gorge. We have ONE bedroom with a king bed. We have two other twin mattresses in the living area in the form of a day bed with a trundle. The daybed doubles as a couch and the trundle rolls underneath the daybed like a drawer.

The ONLY bathroom is accessed through the bedroom and from the outside of the building. You CANNOT go from the living area into the bathroom without going through the bedroom (or from outside- this is very convenient with the pool and hot tub).

Breakfast includes a small and limited variety of self service items for your enjoyment; we do not cook in the mornings.

Your cabana guest house does NOT have full kitchen! You will have a kitchenette area with a tiny sink, tiny amount of very limited counter space, a double hot plate (not a traditional stove top, stowed way in cabinets), mini-fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, coffee grinder, filters, coffee, plates, bowls, cups, mugs, silverware, utensils, cutting board, measuring spoons & cups, colander, children's' eatery, pots & pans, oven mitt, towels, washcloths, paper towels, dish soap, cleaners, salt & pepper, coasters, kitchen cart with shelves (microwave is located on this cart), etc.

Our little guest house is really meant for only 2 guests, but we will allow extra guests if you feel that the space is not too small for your family. There is an extra guest/night fee.

Unfortunately, for health reasons we cannot allow guests with any animals or pets on our property. This does include both service animals as well as pets.

There is plenty of street parking near the unit. You will complete self check-in using a lock box.

There are stairs to get from the driveway to the unit. If you have mobility limitations or require use of a device for mobility, unfortunately our space is not accommodating to those needs.

Located in the heart of Historic Clifton and Crescent Hill, this little carriage house is the perfect getaway. Just minutes away from downtown and walking distance to the best restaurants and shopping Louisville has to offer.
The first floor of the carriage house is an open space, with one small bathroom and small kitchenette area. Upstairs is a cozy loft bedroom with one queen size bed. The downstairs is used as a private yoga studio but during your stay it is completely reserved for you.

The space
This relaxing guest house behind our historic Victorian home is used as a personal yoga space and retreat for family and friends. I call it our “barn”. The upstairs loft area is filled with a collection of old CD’s mostly from the 90’s and other fun collectibles. The studio space on the first floor has two rolled up queen size floor mattresses that can be made up into a spare sleeping space upon request. There are yoga mats and a massage table for reiki set up in the space as well. Feel free to relax and unwind.
The downstairs has a small kitchenette with coffee and tea available. There is a small refrigerator and microwave if needed.
The backyard is a small orchard filled with peach, plum, apple and pear trees. Depending on the time of year you may enjoy beautiful flowers throughout the yard or even be able to pick your own fruit. Guests are welcome to use or join us at our fire pit which we frequently (depending on the weather) enjoy a cup of hot cocoa or a bourbon in the evenings.
Great food, coffee, drinks and shopping are all just footsteps away from this fabulous location.

Cute cabin in DB National Forest. 1 BR, LR, kitchen, loft, bath. Sleeps 4 to 6. Hot tub available across the yard on my back deck. Charcoal grill out back. WIFI, smart TV. Pet fee $40. Pet damage adds charges. No smoking inside, no parties, events. Gas oven is broken. Use toaster oven instead. Manually light gas burners. Door will be open for you. 8 miles from town & 20 miles from I-75 at London. Cover hot tub after use. Farm country, chickens crow. Fenced & friendly dog close by.

The space
There are stairs to the loft and porch, not handicap accessible. Kitchen appliances are available. Microwave, Keurig coffee maker, propane gas cook stove but oven not working. Use toaster oven instead. pots/pans, and utensils. Charcoal grill by back deck. Bring your own charcoal. Good WiFi, cell service is limited. Not child proofed, suitable for adults however children are welcome well supervised. Hot tub use: when you get out turn it to low cycle and put the cover back on. No children under 12 in hot tub for their safety. Children under 18 must have on site adult supervision. The hot tub is about 100 feet away on my back deck. You may use it at any time.

There are two driveways, please park in the second drive past the main house. If you have more than one car, park second car up past the guest house by the green gate, just don't block the road. I will have the door unlocked for you so just go in and enjoy. Late arrivals are fine, no need to ask. If you desire a later check out than 11 am please ask ahead of time so I can coordinate the cleaning for the next guest, however, you must be out no later than 1pm with prior permission.

Other things to note
Please let me know how many that are coming. There are extra fees for more than two adults.

Pet Policy:
If you are traveling with any animal, these are the things you need to know.

The unit is too small to accommodate a large dog or multiple dogs. Only a small dog is allowed inside. If your pet weighs more than 15 or 20 pounds, there is an outside fenced yard with a gate and small doghouse.

Any animal must be on a leash or in the fenced area, and under control at all times while outside.

An animal may not be left alone in the unit without express permission and then, only contained in a crate.

Pets are not allowed on the beds, couch/futon, or chairs unless covered with a sheet. Ask for those please and cover the couch and chairs to keep the hair from imbedding in the furniture.

Damage to flower beds and other outside structures, chewing or claw marks from scratching floors, doors, walls, furniture, baseboards, or any part of the structure, and chewed blankets, etc. will be reported to Airbnb for additional payment.

Your animal must not have fleas, must be house broken, and must be up to date on Rabies vaccination, worm treatments and other health issues.

If you show up with an animal without prior notification and fee payment, Airbnb will be notified that you broke the rules, and you will be asked to either pay the animal fee or to leave the property and there will be no refund. (Exception to no prior notice policy will be service animals for disabled people only. Prior notification will be appreciated.)
