- "Great property, friendly hosts, loved the Anderson cabin. A hidden gem!" - "This is a lovely setting. The hosts respond quickly to email and requests. Properly is well maintained. The cabin kitchen is well outfitted for basic cooking. Quiet area as well. " - "We rented the Red roof cabin at Lago Linda. It was very clean and comfortable. We had some rain but the huge porch and metal roof made it very nice. The staff are nice and very helpful. Our grill was low on gas. A nice guy brought us more. He wasn’t happy with one burner that was weak. He left and within 30 mins was back with another grill. They really do go above and beyond for their guests. I will be coming back. "

- "My family and I had a great time. There were some moments that weren’t great; but we survived. We would come back for sure." - "Love the idea of the safari tents. The bathrooms were exquisite and clean. The tents were nicely decorated and fun. There were a few issues and suggestions that we gave to the owner. Out of their control was the interstate which did get a little noisy now and then at night and the EVAC Helicopter did have to take off twice in one night and had to return twice. The helicopter pad is about a football field away so pretty close. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and it was only 4 minutes from the Ark which was awesome."

Great little cabin just 20 minutes away from The Ark. Enjoy a peaceful night relaxing on the deck of this cute little cabin or play some games while waiting for your dinner to be cooked on the gas grill. Enjoy a game of ping pong at the pavilion or take a swim at the pool. The great cabin is just beside a little stream and next to the woods so you could take a walk and enjoy taking in the beautiful view.
- "The cabin is small so it’s very cozy. Located in an RV park/campground, but we didn't have any problems with noise. It's also right off the highway and easy to find. Again even though it’s close to the highway there wasn’t a lot of traffic noise. It was very clean! It was chilly when we were there but in warmer weather, it would have been nice to sit outside on the porch or near the creek in the evenings. The cabin might be too small if you have rambunctious kiddos, but there's a playground onsite (at the front of the campground not within ear/eyeshot of the cabin) and just walking around the campground would be fun. The little creek is pretty. If you have clothes you need to hang you'd have to get creative as there are not any closets or hangers or anywhere to do so. The coffee maker is a Keurig with a seemingly random assortment of k-cups and there wasn’t any creamer. The kitchen is stocked with lots of utensils and pots and pans. We were able to make dinner and do dishes easily. Overall if you’re laid back and don’t need a lot of space this would be perfect. If you’re traveling with people who need a lot of personal space this wouldn’t be for you. We liked it. We were only around in the evenings and spent them just sitting and chatting and watching sports. There were a few board games available and it’s a nice cozy space for that too!"

- "It was a neat experience, very nice and peaceful " - "We enjoyed our stay! We plan on returning. Thank you for the unique and unforgettable experience." - "The teepees are NICE. The bed is comfortable and the space heater + heated blankets came in clutch in the chilly nights. We had plenty of fridge space for the small dinners we brought, and had plenty of storage space for our clothes and kitchen items. Our dog that we brought with us had a blast. The bath/shower house on the property is a shipping container, and was immaculately clean/stocked for a campsite. Don't have a single bad thing say about our stay. If you're on the fence, book it. You won't regret it. Can't wait to come back!"

- "We were in teepee #1 away from the river and it was pretty darn cool. I think it was the better location next to the woods and a little more distance away from the other teepee's. I think also not so much direct sunlight. The large fan was GREAT white noise and the site was super clean. It had been raining quite a bit before we arrived, so the humidity was high. It's hard to remove that much moisture with a portable a/c unit, but this thing got the job done. We had a very comfy night. The only downside was a little mildew at the teepee entrance on the exterior, but that wasn't a big deal. Fire pit and hammock approved, nice new decking and grill out area. Pictures on the website are true to reality. Thanks for taking such good care of the property!"

This memorable place is anything but ordinary. If you're dreaming of a luxurious tent experience you've found it! A queen foam mattress with cotton sheets, mini fridge, coffee, and microwave, small charcoal grill, & dishes, hammock and fire ring, outdoor seating are included. Campground bathrooms are about 80 yards away with hot showers, parking a little further on. Sun shade & AC help with heat, but still may be warm during hot days. Night may be cool even with use of space heater when less than 20 degrees.
The obvious thing to do is visit Mammoth Cave National Park! Lots of hiking in park as close as 800 feet from the campground. Horses are welcome at our campground, we provide stalls and the Lincoln trailhead hiker and horse friendly. There are several cave tours to choose & you may want to choose a couple. We recommend getting tickets in advance as they do sell out. (Visitor center 20-25 minutes via Green River Ferry route call to check schedule, 40 minutes without)
Trail rides are provided at Double J Stables. (5 minutes) Advance reservation recommended.
Opening for the season April -November, The Blue Holler Restaurant serves up German and American fare. Bee spring PJs roadhouse. Bouys at Wax Marina is a fun lake view restaurant experience. Nearby Webb Mart and Forks of Mammoth Cave serve tasty fare in a country store setting.
The Feedmill in Leitchfield (35 min) has good breakfast & lunch & there’s a Mexican restaurant, mi Camino Real, that’s good in that area too. There’s also a Peddler’s Mall in Leitchfield if that interests you.
In Bowling Green (50-55 min) there’s the corvette museum & lost river cave tour if you’re looking for more to do.
Cave city (across the ferry 25 min) has tourist friendly activities including various caves that have been open since the early 1900s. Kayaking tours available down Green River. There are attractions such as Dinosaur World, Kentucky Down Under, & Mammoth Cave Adventure. A favorite stop for me is Leo’s woodworking as you exit the park toward cave city.
I recently went to a cave tour in Horse Cave called hidden river cave (40 min) which was kinda neat. They have antique shops nearby in the little downtown.
10-15 minutes away is an Amish town called Cub Run. They have a couple shops, the Variety Shoppe (equine& homegoods) & Detweilers, which has a small bakery and deli and everything from gardening to furniture. There is a separate hunting & fishing store, Crazy bears, next to detweilers.
- "The owners were extremely friendly and helpful. They offered to help make a fire, left us little snacks, and let us help feed the farm animals. Our tent was clean and the air conditioner felt amazing. Thank you for a great time!" - "Very short drive to the beach at the lake. Short drive to Mammoth Cave if the ferry is working. If not, it about 45 minutes to Mammoth Cave. My boys loved feeding the animals at the farm." - "My family and I loved our stay! Everything was wonderful."

Glamorous camping at its best in this cute and cozy Aframe. Climate control with AC and heat. Mini fridge, microwave, coffee keurig, towels, paper products. Outside a table, fire pit, charcoal grill complete your camping experience. Campground bathrooms are close by. Birds to wake you in the morning and friendly farm animals are always looking for treats.
This is a perfect option for guests looking for a relaxing, rural setting.
Noise machine provided for the cancellation of any noises from nature or nearby ATV park. As in any natural outdoor experience, there is a possibility that bugs could enter the aframe and bathrooms. We do our best with natural remedies, but we are a pollinator friendly farm. The obvious thing to do is visit Mammoth Cave National Park! We stayed in a beautiful teepee with awesome accommodations. We stayed while it was somewhat chilly outside but because to the heated blankets and mattress, we were so warm and comfortable. How can you not think staying in a teepee is the coolest thing ever. I posted this stay on social media and so many of my friends have booked or gotten the information since then. I, honestly, cannot wait to go back!"

The Dancing Deer beckons with its fully furnished sanctuary, boasting a king-sized bed, twin trundle bed, smart TV, fan, AC unit, coffee station, minifridge, microwave, internet access, firepit, grill, access to a bath house and an array of amenities. Despite the 10-minute drive to shops and restaurants, the area exudes a sense of serene seclusion.
Welcome to our enchanting glamping experience, where nature meets comfort in a unique canvas setting. As stewards of the great outdoors, we want you to fully immerse yourself in the beauty of crisp nights and starlit skies. Please note that our tent is a true canvas structure without insulation, meaning that temperatures inside may reflect the cooler or warmer weather outside. While being canvas, this also means that it is nearly waterproof, however, wind can blow water underneath during bad storms.

- "This is an excellent location if you’re looking for a primitive vibe with the modern amenities of electricity and available bathhouse on site. The stars were amazing having the light pollution of the city far away, very comfortable and excellent location close to everything Red River Gorge has to offer. My family loved it. " - "Was nice and peaceful " - "We had a great time staying in our tipi. It was super clean and cute! I read other reviews and (although they do have a heated blanket in addition to regular blankets) I was glad I brought an extra quilt from home. It was a frosty night. Other folks had their fires going - my only regret is that I wish we’d brought firewood! :)"

- "My kind of “camping” lol We really loved the glamping experience- spent a couple of nights in the tee pee with our pup -and got some great hikes in as well. We will definitely have to come back when everything is in full bloom. Thank you Daniel for sharing this little piece of heaven!" - "Beautiful location next to the river. The teepee was very clean and included a heated mattress pad and extra blankets. The refrigerator, freezer, microwave and coffee pot all worked perfectly. The bath house was cleaned daily, they provided towels (we brought ours but ended up needing the extra) shower water was hot, toilets were clean. The host was extremely quick to respond to messages. We adventured around the area during the day, there is a TON to do if you love the outdoors. Would def stay at this property again."

- "Everything was really nice, but wanted to mention the blue chair was already broken when we got there……" - "We booked last minute and was very surprised by how this place wasn't booked for weeks after seeing it in person. My family had a blast in the Tipi, and we will definitely be back. Thx for making a great weekend possible for my Fam." - "Had a wonderful time at the teepees with our family. The teepees were very comfortable and met every need. We had the teepee at the top of the stairs down to the river and with the heat it was very busy."

Make memories that will last long after the campfire is out. Enjoy the farm near Mammoth Cave National Park and Nolin Lake State Park when you stay here at Noble Pine Campground in our farm tent. This memorable place is anything but ordinary. If you're dreaming of a luxurious tent experience you've found it! A queen foam mattress with cotton sheets, mini fridge, coffee, and microwave, small charcoal grill, & dishes, hammock and fire ring, outdoor seating are included. Campground bathrooms are about 60 yards away with hot showers, parking a little further on. Sun shade & AC help with heat, but still may be warm during hot days. Night may be cool even with use of space heater especially when less than 20 degrees.
- "It was so nice and quiet! The owner helped get the fire started, offered to allow us to feed the horses and goats treats and made sure we didn’t have any questions about things to do in the area! The inside of the tent was clean and squared away- with cute little extras like supplies for s’mores! Would definitely stay again!" - "Super nice host, always helping from the fire pit to allowing the kids to pet and feed the farm animals. Place is quite, looks remote but it's only 10min from Nolin Lake and 20 min to Mammoth cave with ferry or 40ish without and going via cave city. Tons of things to do in the area. The gampling is amazing, comfortable enough but rural enough as well. Highly recommended ! "

Fishing and Boating galore! Wake up and throw your fishing pole in the Lake. Wind down enjoying the view from the camper. Located at Moon River Marina with Restaurant on site and boat slips available to rent separately. Less than 1/2 mine to the boat ramp.
Boat and Boat Slip Rentals: Moon River Marina 270-522-7638
- "A great getaway :)" - "Beautiful spot on the lake with boat slip and restaurant on site. Clean, comfortable and well stocked with everything needed for a memorable stay. The outside area is equipped with outdoor furniture and grill to enjoy meals overlooking Lake Barkley. I highly recommend!" - "What a great experience. The camper was very clean and in like new condition. The kitchen seemed to be stocked with everything to prepare a meal. However we chose to eat at the restaurant on site. We did use the nice charcoal grill that is provided and it's big enough to cook for a family. Sitting outside under the awning you have a nice view of the marina and the lake with plenty of seating available. The campground itself is very small and the people staying there were very friendly. Bring your boat and rent a covered boat slip from Moonriver. It's very affordable. If you forget something at home there are stores just a few minutes away. Other than that once you get there you have no reason to even need a vehicle until it's time to go home."

- "Everything was perfect. My son and his fiancé enjoyed his weekend birthday getaway!" - "Sadly we didn’t get to stay at the safari tent due to strong storms running through the area but we did visit and walk through the property. The campground is just as stated on the site and we hope to go back when the weather cooperates. Glamping adventure in the woods! Communications with the host throughout the storm aftermath were terrific and she even helped us find alternate lodging."

Enjoy relaxing days filled with natural beauty of Kentucky landscape.
- "Peaceful and people was very friendly" - "This was my first time staying in a camper (boyfriend wanted to go tent camping and I wasn’t ready for that). For myself not being an outdoor person, and my boyfriend loving the outdoors, this was the perfect hybrid trip where they offered everything in the trailer that I needed including water and such already hooked up and no towing needed and he got two outdoor spaces for campfire cooking (firewood was cheap at the office) and there were a ton of trails nearby. The place cleaned well and ready for our vacation."

Also, it has plenty of space to park your boat. Golf cart / Atv friendly with lots of hiking/riding trails and has a huge, stocked pond to fish... The Lake is only a short walk down to the old Rowena ramp.....Half a mile or so...
- "It's a nice camper and the bed is comfortable. It is well stocked with everything you need, including a coffee maker, dishes and towels. Two TV's with DISH and wifi. I was down for a workshop at the lodge and all the rooms there were booked. This was a nice alternative and the closest option to the lodge available. It was a little strange being the only camper in the campground there and completely alone, but I didn't feel unsafe. I had an issue with the septic line on the last night and Landon was helpful and responsive, even while out of town. He had me move up to the large house he owns on the hill above the campground. I recommend that as well if you have a large group. It was really nice. We recently purchased a camper, so I think having some knowledge of campers is helpful. If you've never stayed in one, this might not be the best option for you. Landon was super responsive and nice though, so you're in good hands if you have any issues."

Nestled into the treeline of a large meadow, Black Betty provides fantastic stargazing, a private fire pit and picnic table. The space
Hidden Ridge is a 53 acre camping, glamping and live music destination. Trails throughout the property take you to a natural spring, along creeks that flow into the lake, and to the lake itself. We have thoughtfully placed Black Betty and our safari tents into the environment, providing seclusion and privacy for guests.
Black Betty is a small, vintage trailer that offers the basics for a relaxing weekend in the woods without roughing it.
We provide bed linens, but you will need to bring your own bath towels. Our Bath House is a short walk away.
The kitchen area offers a small sink, refrigerator/freezer, plates, silverware and glasses, as well as a coffee maker, k-cups and mugs. A cutting board and 2 knives are also provided. There is a small seating area with a table inside, as well as a picnic table outside.
The fire pit area comes stocked with wood and 2 chairs.
Guest access
Guests have access to all of our 53 acres except our RV Campground, which is for residents only. It is denoted by signs.
Other things to note
We have trails that provide access to the lake, but please note it is about a 15-minute hike. Because you are descending (or ascending) a ridge, it is steep in places and may be challenging for small kids and elderly adults. The trail leads to a spot on the main lake (versus the back of a cove), which makes it less than ideal for kayaking or paddle boarding. You can drop in there and paddle around the corner to a cove, but you may want to explore other locations for those types of activities (see below):
[~ 1.5 miles] A public launch at the end of Highway 2393 (go out of the property and turn left. You will see signs for the ramp about a mile down the road. There is a small parking lot and rocky beach, as well as a ramp into the water.
[~ 2 miles] Fall Creek Recreation Area. 874 New Fall Creek Rd. There are picnic tables, a playground and a ramp into the water.
[~ 4 miles] Conley Bottom Marina, 270 Conley Bottom Road. You can rent kayaks, canoes, pontoons and ski boats. There is a store on-site that also sells bait.
[~5 miles] Old Fall Creek (this is the cove in the back of the main Fall Creek Recreation Area, and there is a different road to access it). GPS will not get you there! Turn right out of the property, turn right on 1275, turn right onto Pet Upchurch Rd, turn right onto Old Fall Creek Rd. It will dead end into the water. There is a small parking lot and rocky beach to hang out on.
[~ 30 miles] Pulaski County Park. The park offers a beachy area and various spots for fishing and paddling around. Also great for picnics and mountain biking.
