- "Friendly people and not too far from Roaring River. Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds, a little walk from the tents but not bad. Our daughter loved the setup. Tents are thin so you can everything the other tents are doing. Recommend getting some sleeping ear plugs if you wanna sleep in. They had a little shop there which was pretty cool. Overall it was a great experience with them!"

Located in Van Buren, Missouri, walking distance to a shared private gravel bar with easy river access. Side-by-sides welcome! Then kick back and relax in our 2022 Sabre Camper in our campground, Eagles Landing Resort. (We are fairly new so it doesn’t show up if you search it yet.) No Tent Camping Allowed. Small to medium dogs welcome with pet deposit.

Interior amenities include the full kitchen w/ island, oven, & refrigerator, a full bathroom w/ skylight shower, plus the sleeping arrangement, which houses a master king bed and two jackknife sofa sleepers making for a comfortable 6-adult sleep capacity.

Outside amenities include large patio awning, small sink with mini-fridge outside, nice outdoor area with fire pit and plenty of storage.

Enjoy fine dining at The Landing, or if you are feeling spicy, Las Margaritas, farm to table at The Ranch House or hit everyone's hometown favorite, Joly Cone. All minutes from the campground. Local markets, gas stations and Dollar General Store make shopping convenient and easy.

It is a short 5 minute walk to the river, but you are encouraged to bring your ATV or UTV for convenience." - "The camper was very comfortable for 4 adults. Everything was clean. The camper has 2 private bedrooms. The area is very pretty, the Current River within easy walking distance. Plenty of firewood was provided. Excellent star viewing on clear nights. Including Longhorn cattle, baby goats, mini donkeys and horses all are very friendly and love company. A beautiful pond for fishing in or to just sit by and listen to nature. There are 6 miles of rustic trails with a spring fed creek and waterfalls to explore. We are centrally located between multiple state parks, rivers and tourist attractions as well as with in an 1 hour from St. Louis. There is also a off road trail and mud run 2 miles from our location. Come enjoy nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city and spend some time with us.

In the pictures it does not show that the actual inside flooring is just deck board with spaces between. I say that bc that allowed A TON of bugs to be inside our tent, ZERO electric at the tent site. The hike to the bathrooms was much longer than what was listed. The owner/worker was very sweet and responded to texts. The bathrooms were extremely clean which is very rare for campgrounds these days. The grass was cut short and the firepit outside our tent was gorgeous along with the awesome chairs to sit in. Overall it was a great stay but just a few things that appeared different on the picture online set it back a few. We will be back and will bring extra bug spray for those bugs that come inside. Thanks for allowing us to stay with you this past weekend. "

While there’s no power in the tent itself, you’ll find comfort in the simplicity - like a cozy queen bed, bunk beds for the kids, and a wood stove for warmth on cooler nights.

Mornings start slow here: coffee in hand from our nearby general store, seated in Adirondack chairs on your covered deck as birdsong and soft morning light ease you into the day. It is very hard to put tent stakes in the ground! Just a heads up! As the title says it is primitive, that means no electricity, no water, but we do you have a porta potty and extra parking for multiple vehicles! Also we have a boat launch! This is a beach front site, great for swimming, fishing and enjoying the lake view. I recommend water shoes!
