Quiet comfort awaits you in this cozy home-away-from-home set in a beautiful country-like neighborhood in the heart of the Missouri Ozarks. The Southwest Place is a duplex. Please only park on the left side in front of the garage. The other side is a Airbnb also so there will be guests utilizing that side as well. There is a one car garage that is available if you need to park your car or motorcycle. If you need more outside parking just let me know and we can work something out. All the furniture is new or nearly new. The first thing you'll notice in the living room is the new 50" smart TV and open floor plan. As you walk into the bedrooms you will see solid oak dressers a chair in the corner and extra pillows and a blanket in the closet. There is one queen size bed in each bedroom and a hide-a-bed sofa in the living room. There are dispensers in the showers with body wash, shampoo and conditioner. All the soaps are natural and hypoallergenic an are custom made by The Springfield Soap Refill Station. There are fresh bath towels, hand towels and wash cloths for your use in each bathroom and extras in the hall closet.

You can access the whole apartment, patio and south side of the yard. Since its a duplex, please only utilize your side of the yard in front and back. There is room in the driveway for two vehicles. Please be respectful of the guests next doors space.

The neighborhood is quiet and family oriented. Therefore it is not appropriate for loud parties or events. Feel free to walk or drive around and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Located just 3 blocks from downtown Springfield, less than a mile from MSU and less than 2 miles to Bass Pro and Wonders of Wildlife -we are close to everything. Included is off street parking in the attached parking lot.

You will be staying in the original 1897 house. 2 other smaller apartments were built on over the years. There is a large parking lot attached to my property so if you need to park something big that can be arranged. Additionally there is fenced in back yard and BBQ Grill.

Guests have access to all of apartment 1, the parking lot, front and back yards and the laundry room facilities.

No contact check-in is available as Guests can enter the apartment with their door code. If you need anything I am always available via call or text and I live in apartment 2, around the corner.

The location is an easy walk to downtown where you can find just about any kind of food, shopping, a coffee shop or neighborhood bar.

Getting around is easy. If you are driving there is lots of off street parking. Public buses and Uber or Lyft are always close by.

There is a queen size bed in the bed room and a queen size mattress and box springs in the living room closet that can be used for an extra bed. There are also sheets, pillows, a comforter, blanket and extra towels in the living room closet.

This unit is located on the historic cobblestone Main Street, right next to one of the best local coffee shops in town! There is a large back patio with plenty of seating to enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktails. While the unit provides privacy, please note its proximity to lively bars, where music can be heard in the evenings.

Once inside, you will first see 2 bedrooms with a King bed in each. 1 bedroom has a twin pullout chair, for the additional 5th guest if needed. Further down the hall, you'll see the large, updated bathroom with in-unit laundry, then you'll make your way the open concept kitchen and living room. The kitchen & living room are great size and have plenty of seating. Enjoy the front views overlooking Main St!

The studio is very spacious making a long term or short term stay comfortable. You will need to use a flight of stairs to enter the building. This unit is on the third floor. Once inside the apartment there is living area with a queen bed, a twin bed and two large closets, the walk in closet is also a workspace and includes a desk and chair. full size bathroom with a claw-style bathtub/shower, full size kitchen with stove, fridge etc. Your welcome to use anything in the apartment.

You may use the driveway to load and unload your baggage. You then will park (for free) along the cross street just one house down. If I am gone, I sometimes offer off-street parking in the driveway, but this is not guaranteed. It is a shared driveway, so with this being newly listed, I am still figuring out the best parking set up to allow guests guaranteed off-street parking. The house has shared spaces like, living room, dining room, and bathroom.

My place is close to Mercy Hospital, Cox Hospital, Medical Mile, Surgery Center, Cancer Center, Downtown, Missouri State University. You’ll love my place because of the neighborhood, the comfy bed, the kitchen, and the outdoors space. The space
Each room is very comfortable and has a very comfortable memory foam bed. There are three bathrooms in the house. One is dedicated to the Master Bedroom. The other two bathrooms are shared between three bedrooms. One bathroom is a bathtub/shower combo, the other is walk in shower only. The entire home was remodeled in summer 2017. There are security cameras in use watching the entrances to the home both inside and out for your safety. Access to Alexa for music and entertainment and a Smart TV.

You will have access to all common areas of the home. There is a Keurig in the kitchen for coffee for you to use.

During your stay
The home is set up primarily for private room rentals. Please keep in mind the other guests work schedules, ie..night shift, mid shift, day shift. Any requests for maintenance can be made via email or text message.

I love this place for its central location right in the heart of the Grove entertainment district, yet in a quiet street to enjoy a peaceful rest. Walkable to many restaurants, bars and nightlife. Quick access to BJC, SLU, CWE, Wash U, Forest Park, Botanical Garden, downtown, I-64 & I-44. There are two other bedrooms in this apt to share the 1 bathroom & common spaces. Street parking is free and abundant. There is also a parking pad in the back of the building that can fit 3 cars at a first come first serve basis.

The closest Metrolink station is Cortex, about 15 minutes walk from the Airbnb. There are also buses running along the Tower Grove Ave, taking you north to the Central West End metro station /BJC hospital in 5 minutes, or south to the Botanical Garden, one of the top attractions in St. Louis.
