You will never want to leave this place....that's just how you will feel..the beauty of the lake and the wilderness are breathtaking at this lakefront home. The Lake House is an all season getaway. The summers are filled with fishing, swimming, skiing or boating. Just relaxing on the huge screened in porch watching the sunset is so wonderful. Fall brings brilliant fall foilage, football games to see and craft fairs to attend. Winters will be cozy with the native stone fireplace blazing as you cozy up on the couch. Spring is the perfect time for hiking and picnics.

We offer 2 bedrooms. The master has a queen bed, the guest room has 2 twins. There are 2 full baths, a study with a couch and drop dead views of the lake, along with a wonderful den, dining room with dining table for six, complete kitchen and full utility room.

The home is furnished with all major appliances including dishwasher, washer and dryer and ceiling fans throughout. The kitchen is fully furnished with utensils, dishes and cookware.

The den is furnished with TV/DVD and wood burning fireplace. There is access from the den to a huge deck facing the lake to the west. To the south from the den is an extra large screened in porch with wicker furniture and iron dining table and chairs.

Our home is located just 5 miles east of the Prairie Creek Marina area. The Marina area has a swim beach, picnic pavilions, boating launches and a full service Marina.

Fully equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible, the kitchen is fully stocked with all of the cookware, serve ware and dishes you would need to feed your crew. Make yourself a morning cup of coffee with the Keurig or regular coffee maker and go relax on the deck as Nature wakes up. Cook eggs and bacon on the Blacktop flat grill on deck or come inside and use the griddle or waffle maker if you like a sweet breakfast like me! All of the beds are super comfy with memory foam toppers and luxurious bedding. And if you're a pillow snob like me, you'll be thrilled with all of the great pillows you can choose from!

We know that you came here for the gorgeous Lake! The shoreline is very walkable down a few easy stone steps from the back porch where you can get into the water in our beautiful protected cove.. Or if you want to experience the Lake by water, consider renting a boat from one of the three marinas that rent boats (info is given to you in your Welcome Packet). You don't need beach towels - we have those for you! But don't forget to bring your fishing poles and try your luck with all of the catfish, trout, perch, or crappie. Or choose one of the local outfitters and schedule a Guided Fishing trip for you and your children and spend a full-day or a half-day in search of trout, walleye, bass or any of the other swimming species that call Beaver Lake home.

Ford's Creek Cove is a long, wide and deep cove, perfect for tubing or water skiing. I also have two KAYAKS you can use while staying at Cedar Rock if you're active and would like to explore the shoreline. Paddling down to the end makes for a great morning as the water is smooth with almost zero traffic (unless you count a few dragonflies). If you are like me, being on the water immediately will lower your stress level and increase your happiness exponentially! We'll just make those arrangements after acceptance of the rental request.

At night, you can be the S’more-cooking Master at the firepit then go inside and challenge your crew with a Ping Pong tournament on the ping pong table downstairs or grab your favorite board game and pull up to the game table. There are also 5 acres of beautiful wooded area to walk and explore. ***TIP: Don't forget to bring your binoculars and a camera to capture plenty of family pics in the beautiful outdoors as well as to capture the all of the memories you will create on your awesome Vacation at the Lake. I find nothing gives me more pleasure than having evidence of my vacations through my pictures and saying, "Remember when......?"

Please note that we have Arlo security cameras on the exterior of the house. Since the cabin is in a private, remote area, we want to make sure that we are aware if anyone is at the cabin that shouldn't be. (There are absolutely no cameras indoors.) By staying here, you understand that security is an important thing and will not try to disable the cameras.

Due to liability and safety reasons, no firearms target practice and/or shooting is allowed at Cedar Rock Chalet.

The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Not much boat traffic. Plenty of coves to fish in kayaks. We caught plenty of fish and had a delicious fish fry. Out of all the lake vacations we have taken this house is by far the best when it comes to detail and having everything we needed. The only thing that is a little tricky is the road leading to the house. It’s narrow and steep which is expected in the mountains. Our truck had no problem but our car scraped a few rocks and had a little trouble climbing the hill. All in all I would definitely recommend this rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

This is a beautiful new home that sleeps 12. It has four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. Every room in the house has the same beautiful view of Beaver Lake. Off-season rates. Lake access a short drive down the hill. Use of kayaks and canoe. Lifejackets provided.

Each bedroom has a queen sized bed and sliding glass doors opening to either the upstairs or downstairs back deck overlooking the lake. The two downstairs bedrooms each have a twin bed and a queen.

The large living area upstairs is an open living, dining, kitchen area with a fireplace. It also has a flat screen TV and the sofa makes into a queen sized memory foam bed. The upper level is handicap friendly with one low step through the garage entry. There are two bedrooms and bathrooms on this level. The upstairs master bath has a step-in shower and grab bars by the toilet. There is also a jetted tub in this bathroom.

The kitchen is fully furnished with dishes, cookware, and utensils. Linens are provided for the beds and baths.

The laundry and pantry rooms are on the upper level.

The downstairs living area has a regulation pool table, small air hockey table, flat screen TV with DVR, and double sliding doors out to the deck.

There are also two bedrooms on this level, and two bathrooms. Each of these bedrooms has a queen bed and a and twin bed.

A deck runs the length of the back of the house facing the lake and is accessible from both bedrooms on the main level and the living area. There is an outdoor dining table and other seating plus a BBQ grill on this deck.

The lower level has a patio/deck that runs the length of the house under the upper deck. It is accessible from both downstairs bedrooms and the downstairs living area. It also has a good view of the lake. There is a fire pit accessible from the lower deck.

The lake is just a short drive down the hill. It is possible to drive right down to the water.

Our favorite feature about this house is the high spacious deck overlooking the trees in the back. With an almost treehouse feel, you will enjoy sipping your evening away under the ambience of string lights or relaxing in the cool mornings in the comfortable furniture. Fire up the grill and enjoy either dining out on the deck table or inside around the large family dining table.

The matching lower deck has a hot tub to soak in on those cool mornings or help you wind down after a day of exploring. Venture down to the firepit and enjoy roasting marshmallows or telling stories around the fire on those cool evenings.

Downstairs you can curl up on the comfy sectional or huge memory foam bean bag and enjoy a favorite show or movie on the 70" 4K-UHD SmartTV with Roku. Log in to your favorite streaming services and, with guest mode, you will be automatically logged out upon checkout. We do not have any cable or live TV services, but Roku has many free channels included.

Barely 50 ft away from the water's edge and flat easy walk right off the back deck to the water. There are two bedrooms plus a loft accessible with a ladder.

- "We enjoyed the place, fishing off the dock was great" - "The property is amazing if you are looking for a place to get away from everything. It sits in a quiet cove and the water is clear down to about 8 feet, maybe a little more. The depth is about 11-12 feet right off the end of the dock so you don't have to worry about hitting anything jumping, diving, or docking boats/jet skis. The dock has plenty of space to fish and entertain, it does have a slip but it was closed for use while we were renting it. The kids loved the coast around the property, it has rocks and woods for exploration. The cabin is older and could use some updating and needs to be leveled as the floors slope a little, this did not bother us as the experience was what we were after. The kids really enjoyed the loft above the kitchen, it feels like a tree house up there. For us the cabin was just a place to cook and lay our head at night as we spent most of the time at or on the water. The driveway is steep and may give you trouble if you try to take a big boat down/up it, but there is room at the top of the hill to park a trailer or boat without going all the way down the hill. The road right before you get to the cabin dead-ends into the water that's where the locals put boats in. We put our jet ski's in there, it's not steep at all so you have to back pretty far into the water to get a boat/ski's off but it is really convenient. It is a 2 minute car ride and 30 second boat ride from the cabin/dock. We would stay here again!!! Awesome secluded spot!"
