Chalet Retreat is a lakefront 2.5 bedroom, 1 bath cozy log cabin situated at the end of a clear water cove on Beaver Lake. An additional bunkhouse (350 sq. ft) which sleeps 2+ is a great place to entertain children or teens. The cabin is furnished with major appliances including washer and dryer. The kitchen is fully equipped. The main floor has a comfortable sitting area with 55" Smart Roku TV, DVD player, leather recliner sofa and 2 recliners for comfort while watching your favorite tv shows or to just simply relax.
The master bedroom has a California King size bed w/ a purple mattress, 40" TV w/ Roku stick, DVD player ample closet and drawer space.
The 2nd bedroom has 2 full beds and ample closet space.
There is a twin size bed in the laundry room as well w/ a closet so it can serve as a 3rd bedroom if needed.
The bunkhouse with a/c and heat is the perfect location for teens to hang out or other small private living quarters. It sleeps a full-size bed. It has a 55" Smart Roku TV and DVD player. A solid wall of windows gives you a spectacular view of the lake.
Outside the main cabin is a deck where you can sit for hours and enjoy the spectacular views and beautiful sunsets. On the deck is a gas or charcoal grill and a table and chairs for your convenience and pleasure.
Step in the backyard where an enclosed trampoline is located just waiting for hours of fun for the kids.
Our cabin and bunk house are non-smoking and are in the most convenient location to restaurants and shopping in Rogers and surrounding areas.

Guests will have access to the entire pictured house, all appliances, any kitchen supplies, and all amenities.
We provide amenities in the bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry room with enough to get you started on your trip. We do not provide excess for more than a couple of days' worth, and guests are responsible for purchasing these items for personal use if they run out during their stay.
Exterior cameras may be at the property for security purposes.

Other Things to Note:
The dock CANNOT be used by guests under any circumstances. This is a very strict rule with the Army Corp and they enforce it.

Looking for an “Unplugged” Get-away Vacation come true?!?
So many past guests have commented on how wonderful it is to have children, family and friends unplug and truly have an enormously wonderful time interacting “in the old-fashion way”! Little cell service, no Wi-Fi.

This cabin has easy access lake frontage on TWO sides! You can actually walk right out the lower-level doors to the two-tiered spacious deck, and down the deck steps and be right in the water. Enjoy swimming, fishing or simply relaxing on the water!

The spacious great room on the main level is all glass on three sides, with cathedral ceilings that give great views from every window. (The master bedroom/loft is just above the great room and enjoys these same great views!) There is a welcoming wood burning stove in the great room to take the edge off any chilly nights and two comfy leather couches with additional chairs for plenty of seating.

Whether opting to gather at the large dining table or eat at the kitchen bar (or use both) you’ll find plenty of room for meals for larger groups. The Kitchen is known for being extremely well supplied with all kinds of cooking equipment, utensils, etc. - this is NOT a bare bone set kitchen!

With 4 bedrooms (3 kings 1 queen) and two full bathrooms, situated on three levels, you will find plenty of space to stretch your legs and not be crowded.
This cabin sits at the water’s edge, surrounded by 145 secluded private acres of wilderness to explore.
It is well worth the drive and the outside world feels a million miles away. If you like counting stars at night, this is the place to stay.

**This cabin is located down 6 miles of gravel/dirt/rocky groomed county roads and right at the water's edge of Beaver Lake. And then ½ - ¾ miles driveway in after you go through the gate. This driveway is dirt/rock/wild grasses and can be rutted if we get a lot of rain in the days before your arrival. The homeowner does his best to keep this driveway graded, but we highly recommend an all-wheel or 4-wheel drive vehicles, just in case, and DO NOT recommend taking a trailer down to the cabin. (Many 2-wheel drive vehicles make it just fine, but definitely NOT pulling a trailer.) There is a large meadow just left of the gate, INSIDE the property, where you can safely store your trailer.

**FIREWOOD for the outside Fire-pit or inside Wood stove is available. $95 for a "Cord", (plus tax). Please pre-order at least two weeks in advance.

We know that you came here for the gorgeous Lake! The shoreline is very walkable down a few easy stone steps from the back porch where you can get into the water in our beautiful protected cove.. Or if you want to experience the Lake by water, consider renting a boat from one of the three marinas that rent boats (info is given to you in your Welcome Packet). You don't need beach towels - we have those for you! But don't forget to bring your fishing poles and try your luck with all of the catfish, trout, perch, or crappie. Or choose one of the local outfitters and schedule a Guided Fishing trip for you and your children and spend a full-day or a half-day in search of trout, walleye, bass or any of the other swimming species that call Beaver Lake home.

Ford's Creek Cove is a long, wide and deep cove, perfect for tubing or water skiing. I also have two KAYAKS you can use while staying at Cedar Rock if you're active and would like to explore the shoreline. Paddling down to the end makes for a great morning as the water is smooth with almost zero traffic (unless you count a few dragonflies). If you are like me, being on the water immediately will lower your stress level and increase your happiness exponentially! We'll just make those arrangements after acceptance of the rental request.

At night, you can be the S’more-cooking Master at the firepit then go inside and challenge your crew with a Ping Pong tournament on the ping pong table downstairs or grab your favorite board game and pull up to the game table. There are also 5 acres of beautiful wooded area to walk and explore. ***TIP: Don't forget to bring your binoculars and a camera to capture plenty of family pics in the beautiful outdoors as well as to capture the all of the memories you will create on your awesome Vacation at the Lake. I find nothing gives me more pleasure than having evidence of my vacations through my pictures and saying, "Remember when......?"

Please note that we have Arlo security cameras on the exterior of the house. Since the cabin is in a private, remote area, we want to make sure that we are aware if anyone is at the cabin that shouldn't be. (There are absolutely no cameras indoors.) By staying here, you understand that security is an important thing and will not try to disable the cameras.

Due to liability and safety reasons, no firearms target practice and/or shooting is allowed at Cedar Rock Chalet.

She has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. If you find anything lacking, which you probably won’t, just reach out to her and she’s happy to assist. The lake is beautiful and peaceful. Not much boat traffic. Plenty of coves to fish in kayaks. We caught plenty of fish and had a delicious fish fry. Out of all the lake vacations we have taken this house is by far the best when it comes to detail and having everything we needed. The only thing that is a little tricky is the road leading to the house. It’s narrow and steep which is expected in the mountains. Our truck had no problem but our car scraped a few rocks and had a little trouble climbing the hill. All in all I would definitely recommend this rental. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!"

- "We needed a pet friendly place to vacation with our English Setter for the first time and this was perfect. It was on the lake and a pretty view of fall colors. The only downside was that the screens on the doors were torn so we had to keep the main doors shut in order to make sure that she (dog) wouldn't jump out. Will probably return next year." - "My husband and I, my mother-in-law and two of my adult sons had a great time! We enjoyed the seclusion, beautiful cove and star gazing in addition to skiing. The beds were comfortable, the house clean. There is plenty of room for parking and a circle drive for easier turnaround with a boat. The home is older, which is fine with me, this is reflected in the price. There is an area of the deck that needs to be repaired but that was blocked so was not dangerous. As we have found in many rentals, the kitchen knives could use an upgrade, more pots/pans and storage containers would have been nice. There was no internet (the manager said they have been trying to get that removed from the description). It was really kind of nice. We did have good service on Verizon, just used our own data. Also no dishwasher but not a big deal to us. We loved the seclusion, it was like we were the only people there! The walk to the dock is flat and short, the easiest walk to the dock we have experienced in 25 years of rentals! We would rent this house again in a heartbeat!"

- "We enjoyed the place, fishing off the dock was great" - "The property is amazing if you are looking for a place to get away from everything. It sits in a quiet cove and the water is clear down to about 8 feet, maybe a little more. The depth is about 11-12 feet right off the end of the dock so you don't have to worry about hitting anything jumping, diving, or docking boats/jet skis. The dock has plenty of space to fish and entertain, it does have a slip but it was closed for use while we were renting it. The kids loved the coast around the property, it has rocks and woods for exploration. The cabin is older and could use some updating and needs to be leveled as the floors slope a little, this did not bother us as the experience was what we were after. The kids really enjoyed the loft above the kitchen, it feels like a tree house up there. For us the cabin was just a place to cook and lay our head at night as we spent most of the time at or on the water. The driveway is steep and may give you trouble if you try to take a big boat down/up it, but there is room at the top of the hill to park a trailer or boat without going all the way down the hill. The road right before you get to the cabin dead-ends into the water that's where the locals put boats in. We put our jet ski's in there, it's not steep at all so you have to back pretty far into the water to get a boat/ski's off but it is really convenient. It is a 2 minute car ride and 30 second boat ride from the cabin/dock. We would stay here again!!! Awesome secluded spot!"

This is a very quiet and relaxing place to stay on the Ford's Creek arm of Beaver Lake. Offering total privacy and a wonderful lakeview from the huge multi level deck.
Enjoy the large firepit built into the deck while sitting under the stars (firewood included).
Bring your bug spray and walking shoes for exploring the property, checking out wildlife or fishing in the lake. 4-wheel drive or All wheel drive is necessary.

The inside of the cabin is generously furnished with lots of comfortable seating.

It has one bedroom with a queen size bed and a loft bedroom that has 2 sets of very nice wood bunk beds with twin mattresses over doubles. There is one full bathroom.

You'll drive down a gravel road to reach the home where there are several off-road parking spots. As you enter the home, you'll step into a cozy living room with lake views and a word-burning fireplace. This space is perfect for gathering, offering plush seating, a large smart TV, and a selection of board games for fun family nights. The kitchen is fully stocked and features an open-concept dining area that comfortably seats six.

The bedrooms:
(1) The main bedroom is downstairs and includes a queen bed with direct access to the bathroom.
(2) The 2nd bedroom is upstairs and features a queen bed with private balcony overlooking the lake.
(3) The 3rd bedroom has two single beds and is also upstairs.

Step outside to enjoy the large double-deck patio, complete with comfortable seating and stunning lake views. It’s the ideal spot for outdoor meals or watching the local wildlife. Wind down in the hot tub or gather around the fire pit. Please note that we don't provide firewood.

We do have a community pool at Lost Bridge that you can use for a small daily fee. Pool might be good idea for families with small children.

The Neighborhood:

Yes ! there are neighbors, you probably will never here or see them. I ask my guests to be respectful and not play loud music outside. Cabin is in a very quiet location. We rarely see neighbors, most are retired & live here for the beauty of the lake and woods. We ask our guests to respect the area and no loud noise or music outside after dark. You will actually see more wildlife if you are quiet & peaceful.

Lake is in front of cabin across street. You can fish from the bank but swimming not safe for kids. Best to swim at state parks 4 miles from cabin.

Getting Around:

Cabin is allowed 3 cars, no more. Roads here are very curvy and steep.

No trailers unless empty boat trailer allowed up driveway.

Lost Bridge area is very scenic. Long curvy scenic mountain drive to cabin. If weather is snowy it is hard to travel our roads. Cabin looks out to lake. No neighbors in view. I do have 2 other cabins on this property so I ask my guests to be respectful of others and not play loud music outside. Actually, you have a better chance of seeing more wildlife if your quiet. Great place to view Bald Eagles in the Fall and winter months.

Getting Around:

Cabin has parking for only 2 vehicles. Uber is always an option if you need a driver.

Other Things to Note:

I require a 3 night minimum on holidays. If by chance computer accepts 2 night on a holiday it will not be valid unless 3rd night added.I will contact you to add 3rd night. Cabin is non smoking & no pets or animals. This cabin is located at the end of a driveway that has no turn around. It is hard to pull and back out a boat. The best thing is to reserve a boat slip at Lost Bridge Marina.

- "You’ll need a high clearance 4wd depending on condition w the driveway bc it’s very steep. Trail to water is amazing but can be tricky if your inured or not fit etc. I love these architects. Biggest downside was dealing with their 3rd party property manager “vacasa” was out Wi-Fi which means you’ll likely have poor cell signal too. Wasted hours trying to get Wi-Fi back up with terriiw service. This being said it will not deter me from renting here again. Love love love this property! Not so much vacasa…"

What's inside?
Comfort and cleanliness is our top priority for our guests and we take pride in providing wonderful accommodations for up to ten guests. The home is furnished with major appliances including a dishwasher, central heat and air, and ceiling fans in bedrooms and common areas. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped with utensils, dishes, and cookware. The main floor has a comfortable sitting area with stone fireplace, smart TV, dining, and two bedroom-bathroom suites that boast luxurious King-sized beds. Upstairs, you'll find a giant leather sectional couch facing our 120-inch projector screen, equipped with Amazon Fire TV and a DVD player, and board games for the whole family. Two more bedrooms sport four enchanting bunks and two ultra-supportive twin beds, respectively, and the kids will love building their own cabin with our Lincoln Logs set or pretend-camping in our campfire-themed play area! Outside is a beautiful wraparound porch on 3 sides with benches. Escape the daily stresses of life and relax in the tranquility the forest. Enjoy evenings on the deck watching the sunset through the trees or mornings sipping coffee while whitetail deer browse a few yards away. Spend sunny days hiking the nearby trails or evenings relaxing by the wood-burning fireplace.

What's nearby?
Easy access to the highway means you can rest easy knowing everything you need is within reach. It is just 15 minutes to Historic Downtown Rogers, with its shops, restaurants, and performing arts. The Pinnacle Hills Promenade Shopping Mall, AMP for awesome concerts and John Q. Hammons Convention Center are less than a 30-minute drive away. Crystal Bridges American Museum of Art and the Children's Amazeum are only 14 miles away. We are approximately 20 miles from XNA Airport and 25 miles from Fayetteville and the University of Arkansas, 4 miles to War Eagle Mill and 15 miles to Eureka Springs.
What should I know while planning my stay?
1. Bring bottled drinking water. Whitetail is on an all-natural well, which is safe, clean, and potable. However, it is hard water with a high mineral content and many don't enjoy the taste. You may also want to bring your own ice for this reason.
*Please be advised that the hard water also tends to result in water spots on sinks and glass dishes. We take cleanliness, safety, and our environment very seriously, and clean and sanitize thoroughly between guests, so rest assured that the presence of pale white water spots on a surface simply indicates a place where tap water was part of the cleaning process.
2. Plan responsibly if you're bringing a pet. The acreage that Whitetail Cabin is on is NOT FENCED, and is fronted by a two-lane highway. It is strongly recommended that, for their safety, your pet be kept on a leash at all times while outside.
3. Our bunk beds account for 4 of our 8 beds, and are safety rated for up to 165 lbs per occupant. Please take this weight limit into consideration while planning your sleeping arrangements.
4. Don't forget to pack your favorite bubble bath or bath bombs for a relaxing soak in the clawfoot tub!
